This New York hotel is within a 5-minute walk of the World Trade Center. This hotel features a state-of-the-art on-site fitness center. The 9/11 Memorial is across the street.

Dream is a flagship hotel in downtown Manhattan with a modern theme. It features a roof-top lounge with club overlooking the skyline, an on-site restaurant, and an outdoor pool with private cabanas.

The design, quiet and comfort.
Beautiful hotel, good restaurant, marvelous breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff
Bad WiFi, bed is not really comfortable, and bad smell (!!) in the restaurant on the roof top (during winter) but those are really details! it was a marvelous place to stay!
Atmosphere, rooftop bar, nice people in the staff
Bathroom little bit unconfortable
Partner liked this place even more than I did but the design is smart and the room comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast downstairs (and the odd cocktail) smashing with flawless service. Front desk always immensely helpful. Ideal location for us too.
Only tiny moan was that the internet would just die on me a couple of times each day. Never for long though. Same happened, at different times, for partner.
The location is excellent with access to Meat packing District and uptown... The restaurant was very good...great breakfast. Staff was helpful and the facility was very clean. The trendy décor was great...
It appears that the target consumers are young since the room does not take into account a few issues: 1) Getting in and out of the bed is a challenge. 2) Position of light at one side of bed is problematic since getting out of the bed, one would hit this light head on... 3) No comfortable chair(s) to sit in 4) The bath room sink is ridiculous - way too small 5) In bath room there is no "ledge" that will hold a toiletries etc. 6) The desk is small and crowded with all kinds of merchandise... 7) WIFI in room was poor...
Cool and modern.
This is not really a business hotel. No facilty in room to work. Rooms are quite small, bed was little uncomfortable. Room was facing a construction site.
Nice place with a comfortable bed
Nice beds and great soaps and schampoo. Great towels.
The front Office is not very welcoming. The staff is sitting down and the counter is to high which makes a low service factor.
simple and clean layout bed location
staff not that helpful
design Rooftop Food Location (galleries)
location (a bit further west) Small rooms
1 - STAFF. Front of house staff were really lovely - a real highlight of they stay. 2 - INTERIORS - Beautiful 3 - Room upgrade. Thank-you!!
Would like to have ben a little closer to Subway station
location - ideal for visiting meatpacking district - it is quiet in the rooms at the back - nice food at breakfast, lunch and dinner - quite soft mattress and soft but firm pillows - nice layout of the rooms - size for NYC quite big - very friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel
temperature in the restaurant early in the morning - too cold bathroom has not enough space to place your necessities
The rooms are very clean. The Staff is extremly friendly and helpful. A good atmosphere. We loved it.
Excellent staff, very comfortable beds, very clean, very stylish, close to highline, many galleries, 20 min walk to Empire State Building, 10 min to Meatpack District
Roof top and pool were closed, noisy construction site nearby (not to avoid in this area)
The Hotel is on the 'fringe' of everything and is short walking distance from all the main attractions such as chelsea, midtown, High Line and Meatpacking. Its a nice size (i.e. not too big but big enough still to have a buzz around it). My room was fairly sizeable on the top floor of the hotel, very modern contemporary decor (this is a design hotel) and was really well equipped with free wifi, Aesop toiletries, lots of wardrobe space and a nice big comfortable bed! If the weather is bad then you can pretty much stay self contained as the hotel has a great lobby cafe and bar and the ground floor restaurant offers some fab food at reasonable prices. While I didn't have one the room service Bento boxes look great value for money. The Staff are very friendly, polite and courteous. Overall I can only recommend.
Little bit disappointed the rooftop bar and pool were closed for maintenance works and I wasn't told in advance, but apart from that I can't think of any real negatives.
A modern and very comfy hotel, excellent beds and pillows. Quiet rooms which made for a good night's sleep. The location right next to the Highline is great, just a ten minute stroll to Chelsea market for your breakfast, and easy walking distance to many of the attractions. Great Cocktails.
Room was small; permanent strong smell of cat urine (I suspect that this place was abandoned for years and that the floors were not properly treated to remove the urine smell soaked into the concrete); Loud parties booked in basement and on rooftop so that you can't get any restu during the day or at night. Hotel offered earpluggs but you just couldn't filter out the bass coming from both ends, thudding along the walls and concrete floors. The entire building carries the sound because there is no isolation between floors or walls. Again, cheap facelift not a quality renovation.
location, staff, bar on the roof, the view towards uptown,
poor lighting for the bathroom mirror, super small wash basin completely blocked with the tap...actually it is a joke, no design/no function :)) if you change these 2 minor details you have an amazing hotel. Ok, i guess it is difficult to make the wash basin smaller, but can you consider to use an equally mini size tap?
Impeccable customer service. Awesome staff. Absolutely everything was offered to us at the level one would expect after paying a premium for their stay. Pleasantly surprised with the overall experience.
the overall design and amenities, I wish I used it a little more
the shower curtain was a little too small that the bathroom got wet. also the sink was difficult to wash my face because the ledge above it was there. Design wise it looks good but I think it could have worked a little better functionally
1. The rooftop bar, which is the primary allure of this hotel, was closed for a private event. I have since learned that it is regularly closed for private events. This is unacceptable, especially for guests of the hotel. 2. The bed was ridiculously uncomfortable. Actually, it was only an old, worn mattress on the floor. 3. The room had only 2 small windows, with no view, and thus very little natural light. 4. The main wall of the room, between the 2 windows, was like some unfinished plasterboard, cut out like a large door, with a hole where a doorknob would go, but awful looking.
Design, comfortability, friendly staff and food.
Rate is lil bit high. No breakfast included. They ruined my suit when I left it on store for few hours after I checked out, I have not complained about it yet but I will send to the manager, it was awful and unprofessional at all.
Design. Location. Housekeeping staff were caring and efficient. Pool and the view.
Pool staff - inattentive and a touch too much attitude. Queen rooms are quite small, book a king if you can.
Cleanliness Friendly/helpful staff Funky rooms
Everything was fantastic
Booking.com is the leading interface today for booking a trip. The other thing I liked is that I only had to stay one night.
For the price, the room was too small, the decor, fixtures and amenities were all very cheap in look and feel. The room is not practical for true overnight guests. By true, I mean actual hotel guests staying in the City; it is quite suitable for the hourly crowd that filters in from Scores (a large and loud strip club across the street). By practical I mean having any type of table top, shelving or seating to make the use of the room both comfortable and efficient for your stay. Good luck getting ready because the bathroom is as small as a portapotty and there is hardly a spot to rest your toothbrush. While beauty and taste are subjective, service shouldn't be and there simply wasn't the faintest sign of hospitality in the wannabe hip Chelsea hotel. As a former hospitality executive myself, I would send an army of guest service trainers to shape up this sorry excuse for a hotel. It is more like a hostel with hip music, rude hipster employees and dark lighting to hide the economical design choices. No, I am not an old bitter man. I live in Williamsburg Brooklyn, work at a leading creative agency and would be considered the ideal demographic for this shameful excuse of an upscale attempt at being a trendy hotel. For the money, stay somewhere else! Heck, there are plenty of other great neighborhoods. Uber to Chelsea (if you need/want to be there) is $15/20 from most places one would stay as another option.
