Score from 1807 reviews Very good
Cheap spacey room. Nothing special.
Not a very nice neighborhood. Entrance is very ugly.
I enjoyed the choice of available channels, being able to set the temp of room and I truly slept. As a rule, I don't sleep well to begin with, let alone in a motel or hotel.
I saw no evidence of ice being available or snack machine. It is quite possible that somewhere this was available, but there was no mention of such when I checked in.
Friendly and eccentric. Nice food in the area.
the staff are friendly! definitely value for money!
We enjoy the enthousism of the hotel personnel. Although the hotel is remote from Manatthan, Haibanin is easy access by rail to Time Square,, much appreciated!
free breakfast, good location
The staff was very nice about letting us have an extra guest.
I wish they had rooms available for groups.
Good price, clean room, micro included, PATH train station is close
Fire alarm system broked at midnight, very noise, train is long on weekends
The proximity to the PATH station in Jersey City, the vibrant neighborhood. And techie tip, if you can remember to pack a long Cat 5 network cable, you can plug into their VoIP phone for a more secure (and fast) network connection.
There was a lot of street noise and by street noise I mean car horns. I'm a San Francisco Giants fan and was anticipating being able to sit in my room and watch the LCS game. They didn't have any major channels to watch it so I wound up at a bar.
Close to PATH station JSQ. Large room. Nice staff. simple but free breakfast.
Weak WiFi signal in room. Poor noise insulation - I can the noise (talking/crying/laughing/TV/snorin- g) from neighbors. Old furniture, poor cleanliness.
Great location in Little India, very friendly staff.
I stayed here during the huge Hindu feast of Navratri, so noise was definitely an issue. Room was devoid of furniture.
I am a vegan. I liked the vegan food choices in the neighborhood there. I liked the proximity to Journal Sq. Transit, & the friendly staff & neighborhood.
I saw a large bug on the dresser in my room
A lot of space in the room. The rooms are clean. A microwave and a fridge are available in the room itself. It´s a good location but only when the path to the 33d St is not suspended. Many options to have dinner and lunch at a reasonable price but no breakfast at 9 A.m or earlier as everything is closed. A good clothes outlet near the path station.
No twin beds available. The towels are too small, and it was cold in the bathroom. Impossible to sleep early in the morning due to some maintenance work in the street. Poor breakfast. No maps of nyc or New Jersey available in the hotel.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. WiFi excellent, cable TV and comfortable bed. It's worth it, you pay for what you get.
Noisy neighborhood. I don't know if it's the hotel's location or the neighborhood, but at 7am I could listen all kinds of loud noises. I think the hotel was remodeling, or something like that, and I could listen, early in the morning, loud noises beside my bedroom of people working.
The bed was fine. The elevator worked fine.
The television was not set up to view anything. There were two lamps that were rather battered. The little nubs on the shower head were clogged and crumbly. The water temperature was inconsistent. The lobby was full of stuff (piles of papers on the furniture) and therefore uninviting.
I liked how the hotel was clean, the staff was good and it has security where unauthorized people cannot get in. It is not too far away from the transit center from where you can catch the train or the bus. We were planning to go to Hoboken. It was just 10 mins away by train. We had a baby too. Overall I am happy with the stay, staff and the hotel room.
5 minute walk to PATH Station at Journal Square. Reasonable Rate and easy ride into Lower Manhattan.
No phone or radio/alarm clock in room. Loud AC unit.
Book Room 406 if you can! I thought it was just a small room with a couch, but it was a 2 room suite. For $150! Super clean, friendly staff, and the owner even bought me breakfast! 5 min walk to PATH, great neighborhood.
Wi-Fi was really good It was located in an area which has lot of restaurants and shops nearby MIcrowave and Fridge are provided
There were no rooms with 2 double beds and hence it was difficult to sleep for couples travelling with young children Towels in the bathroom were very rough
THE HOTEL IS NEAR TO THE PATH STATION AND VERY CONVENIENT TO MANHATTAN.
This was my second stay and it was amazing as my first visit. The staff are helpful and even help you with your luggage to ur rooms if you need their help. It's close to all indian restaurants in jersey area ..
Nothing it was amazing !!
The location is excellent of the hotel. Very near to Path. As first, we were skeptical to book this place. But the The area is very good and safe. Loads of food options and grocery. There is a nice Community Laundry place near to the Hotel. The most important thing are the people who runs this property. Mr. Selwa is an excellent person and they all go out of the way to make you happy. Very honest and provided me loads to tips (like which SIM card to buy, where to eat, etc). He also arranged for us good taxi to go to Airport. This is one place, where i would be definitely staying again
- location (PATH few minutes away, WTC 10 min, 33rd street 20 min) - EWR accessible by public transport - neighbourhood - reasonable price
- WiFi could be better (the more remote room the weaker signal)
I would rate this hotel as 4.5 out of 5. My personal experience was really good during my the stay here for 4 days. I landed in this place in an emergency when my reservation with one of the top hotels got completely screwed. Had no expectations at all even while entering the place, but it turned out to be wonderful. Excellent staff, Warm welcome, good facilities, nice room rate - everything turned out too good. My booking from one night has gone up and I stayed for 4 nights as I was very comfortable here. Lot of restaurants next to the hotel. Good shopping area for Asians.15 mins train to nyc. I would definitely come back here and would recommend this place to all my friends without hesitation. Can't believe my review-- feel free to check it out yourself.
