The location is excellent of the hotel. Very near to Path. As first, we were skeptical to book this place. But the The area is very good and safe. Loads of food options and grocery. There is a nice Community Laundry place near to the Hotel. The most important thing are the people who runs this property. Mr. Selwa is an excellent person and they all go out of the way to make you happy. Very honest and provided me loads to tips (like which SIM card to buy, where to eat, etc). He also arranged for us good taxi to go to Airport. This is one place, where i would be definitely staying again
Nice and close to the PATH railway to reach Manhattan in less than half an hour. Good size room and clean.
location to the PATH and excellent value for money.
- 300 meters to PATH train to Nyc, less than 30 minute to go to Manhattan - Morning coffee - High value for money
- Wi-fi didn't worked - Suburbs
Nice people. Good parking options.
location was good and we liked the neighborhood
the linen were not really clean
10 minute Path Train to NYC Large room Very friendly staff
Only Indian restaurants around the towels were very old poor cleanliness
relatively reasonable price
no room cleaning
In the heart of the Indian market. Great food all around. The room was new clean and very spacious. I would stay there again
Internet password should be printed rather than hand written
Staff stayed up late for our arrival.
We did not expect much, but the room was just really really dirty. Among others there were hairs in the bathroom from other guests and the sheets had all kind of stains all over. Even though we were really tired arriving late at night we decided to leave after 20 min, sth. we have never done before in any place / youthostel etc.. I would not recommend anyone staying here.
Mainly location in relation to Manhatten .... good value compared to the high prices in Manhatten ... for the sake of a train ride.
Room could have been cleaner ... but we only used it as a base .... so not in room for long.
- Location: Near to trains/bus for daily commuter - Loads of hotels to have food - Slightly cheaper
- No working phones in the room - No drinking water in the room and hotel as well - Don't trust/believe on verbal promises - Bathroom cleaning not their routine job - Bed sheets are changed after every 5 days
No sound insulation between rooms
Good location close to PATH to get to NY, polite and helpful staff, room was good value.
While not Hotel's fault, adjoining room and restaurant across the street a bit noisy but nothing that good ear plugs cant fix.
Room was very clean. We stayed 20 days in two set of checkins. Bathroom was clean. Very neat & clean. Carry your own toiletories. They provide a small fridge, but carry water bottles to chill. They give a user friendly microwave, but simple tea or coffee water boiling kettle was not provided. House-keeping very courteous. Room spacious , excellent value for money. Recepition is a confusion. ( ignore it!).I traveled around, was in with my wife & son stayed for a while too. I was happy, with what they provide in neighbouring New York, with PATH Rail connections to whole city.We used the place to meet children, and before taking a Florida Cruise.
walkin entry impression is definately not pleasent but once in & up to room, very good value for money.
the location the staff clean
the noise coming though walls no parking
Excellent location close to PATH. Value for money. Nice Indian restaurants around. Staff friendly and helpful
Excellent hotel. Very good staff and rooms. It's close to the subway and shopping.
Cost / convenience - only 5 minute walk to railway station Journal Square for easy access to New York
We asked two single beds (required during the booking) but they denied we asked till I asked them to check for the third time. Our room was very smelly and the double bed was really untouchable, shocking. We made incredibles photos just arrived: (Wanted to leave without sheets!!!) I had to to sleep dressed and with a towel as pillow. No other comments. I'm very surprised for the scoring on booking.com, this time (the first time) I have to disparage Booking.com. Something must be wrong.
Close to PATH train. Rooms have a nice size.
No hairdryer. Lack of cleanliness and facilities. Bed sheet was not clean, pull out sofa full of strains. Floor wasn't clean, especially in the bathroom. Unfriendly maids.Little India nighborhood with all the things usually related to it. They push you to give tips for everything. I was directly asked for tips even when I returned the keys. Extremely noisy. Thin walls!!!!
Location - close t0 path - 3 stops to Manhattan
The hotel is located in Indian quarter, very close to Journal square. You can arrive to WTC in 15 minutes, and to mid town Manhattan in 25 minutes. It is also very convenient for travellers arriving and departing from Newark airport. It is an excellent value for money and it is almost impossible to find a cheaper hotel with such a good location. The staff is very helpful.
The room was not cleaned on weekend.
The room is big, good.
