Surrounded by nature and relaxing atmosphere. I had a private room which was cozy and convenient. Depends which type of a person are you and what are you looking for. Staying there was a relaxing experience with all the surrounding nature and animals. Really down-to-earth at it's best. Mike and Megan are really laid back and nice people.
To get around you definitely need to rent a car. But you can rent it from them and with a really reasonable price!
Bedding was dirty and gross, the whole house smelled awful, cockroaches, this is not healthy nor is it a safe place to stay. We left each morning as early as possible and returned only to sleep. We washed all our clothes as soon as we got to the next Hostel, because they smelled gross like the house we had stayed in. Drinking water didnt even come out of the sink.
Nice property, wonderful people, help and advise on getting around and what to see and what to avoid. Mike and Meghan are a class act and I would give Hale Hale My highest recommendation.
Really nothing to put here ,Really
- The staff was very laid back, friendly, and had a relaxed atmosphere. - You didn't need a key and could leave and come back at any time. - Paid for a shared room, but got my own. - They had a friendly dog, cat, chickens, and ducks that all stayed outside.
- There are no locks on the door, so bring all valuables with you if you want to be safe. - Windows were kept open and not all had screens so mosquitoes got in.
