Beyond beautiful area of Maui. We were fascinated by the small beaches and beautiful gardens. So many amazing places for meals.. pick up or dine in... most with amazing views.
Nature is at her very best all over this island!!

I have been staying here since it opened.
I have been staying here since it opened. Rented 3 rooms for our family. I think the BS resort fees charged today are simply rip off fees. As much as I love this property, and I can afford it, they have priced themselfs to high and I will not be returing again. I had requested rooms close, 2 were, and the 3rd was way off. Spending what I did they could and should have accommodated me. Much advanced notice. Remodel is nice and beds are much more comfortable now. Should have replaced the noisy corridor tile without the grout lines. Very loud when people move their suitcases.

We loved the area!
We loved the area! Amazing beaches, restaurants, shopping, and family activities/outings - so much to chose from. The owners provided everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It was a bonus to have 2 full bathrooms. I especially enjoyed the early morning ocean view from the lanai to sit & enjoy my coffee in paradise!

Wailea was a great beach. It is large with soft golden sand.
Wailea was a great beach. It is large with soft golden sand. It’s exactly like I picture a beach should be. It never got too crowded and there was a small store that sold drinks, shaved ice and snacks. We drove here two of the four beach days we had. Our next trip we intend on staying close to Wailea.

We enjoyed the Gazebo Restaurant in Napili.
We enjoyed the Gazebo Restaurant in Napili. Also enjoyed Kihei Caffe and ate quite a few breakfasts there. Also 808 Grindz Cafe in Lahaina. We always go to Warren & Annabelle's Magic (and comedy) Show also in Lahaina. We have our own copy of Maui Revealed and were pleased that the most recent edition was in the condo, best Hawaii travel book, imo. We went whale watching with PacWhale Eco-Adventures which was wonderful but I would not recommend them for the Molokini Crater snorkeling adventure as we saw so little fish. The Reveal book states NOT to go to the center of the crater and that's exactly where PacWhale took us. We took a side trip to La Perouse Bay where we understand Bezos has a property - lucky him! We also enjoy going on a Costco run on the Islands - what an adventure that is!
We also made a run to Wailuki to purchase the best Banana Bread on the planet at Julia's Best Banana Bread.
That's all folks and thank you for letting me share!

Wailea is the best place to stay on Maui!!
Wailea is the best place to stay on Maui!! The weather is the best on the island, there are many excellent dining options, it is very safe and, when there’s not Construction near you, very quiet and relaxing. But be prepared to pay for these privileges. You get what you pay for and if you crave the best, this is the place for you.
Pool is well maintained and very good for family. Play area has mini golf, tennis and a couple of other activities and hotel provides all the equipment. Watching sunset over the grassy little hill in the resort with the mountains in the backdropped capped our experience. Lots of plants and flowers within the resort. There are some artificial waterfalls too. There were some barbeques in the common area too. We saw some people enjoy it but didn't use it ourselves. Overall, an awesome place, specially for family.
The Maui Banyan Vacation Club is located directly across from the beautiful Kam II beach, withing walking distance to shops and restaurants, other beaches, and close to the Piilani Highway. The room was bright, airy, comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Although the room faced a parking lot, the trees and plants kept it hidden and it was quiet. It has two swimming pools and a lovely garden setting. Considering the cost of accommodations in Maui, this exceeded expectations.
They have good front desk & housekeeping managers in place. As long as they do not stay complacent, this hotel will be worth returning to in the ensuing years. As with all hotels, they have issues as well- but kudos that each issue is handled straight up. Definitely a hotel I trust.
Worth mentioning staff like Gemma, Kody & Kesha. Each with unique strengths, but the commonality in serving to their best.
The unit was spacious with a peak of the ocean view. The condo was well equipped and in good shape. A bit far to walk to the beach but close by car. Close to the luxury hotels and restaurants in Wailea. Management was responsive to a clogged sink issue from prior renter. Overall, a very nice place. We enjoyed the spacious balcony with bbq.
The location along the beach was nice. There was ample parking. We were out visiting places around Maui, and didn't use the facility other than a place to stay. The complementary snacks were a nice surprise and we enjoyed them when out. Overall it was a good stay at a reasonable price.
This Reagan-era apartment is spacious, if in need of a dire upgrade that I fear will never materialize. It contains capacious and modern washing machine and dryer. The property is also conveniently located in the southern part of Kihei, close to the resort-rich town of Wailea.
From the moment we stepped out of the car the level of service exceeded any expectation. From the friendly staff through to the complimentary leis, bottles of water and tea area set up throughout the day with the special refreshing drink, the resort was a wonderful experience.
The apartment is very clean, and we like the location so close Wailea. We also like the assigned parking is just outside the apartment and the unit is on the ground level. Checkin instructions are accurate and easy to follow.
Great location, beautiful surroundings and close to the beach and restaurants. Definitely value for money comparing to resorts in the area. The room was spacious and clean. Really liked the tennis court and we played twice.
The property was clean, a very short walk from the beach and restaurants and had ample parking. A great place to explore Maui from! The facilities were super clean and staff were very friendly.
The hotel is great from every single detail and highly recommended for families with children for the activities in the hotel and the waterpark. Also it has excellent beach and white sand.
