The free shuttle to Redd's and the Redd's shuttle to the Giants game was great. No worries about driving, parking, etc. The hotel was in a great location close to the Meadowlands. It was clean and the staff was very pleasant.

    Lovely staff, kind and warm.

Travel in and out of New York City was mixed. The bus was often full, once we had to wait nearly an hour before a bus would take us standing. But when the bus was running well it was a quick ride! I would appreciate it if the staff gave more advice about how to get the best from our visit as but they were very polite and friendly.

Clean, modern, updated décor, great hot breakfast, very helpful staff. Bus stop right across the street for easy travel into NYC - approx 20-40 minutes depending on traffic. 30 minutes from NJ ferry to Statue of Liberty

    No pool.

Great service and staff. They even accommodated our early check in request. Loved the breakfast. Very convenient location to NY. They offer insight into NY sightseeing. You can book the tours right at front desk. Open top tour bus picks up right across the hotel. But we did not like the tour service at all. Bus stop right across the street. Only takes 10 minutes into New York City. Definitely will stay there again.

Appreciated everything from the courteous, helpful and knowledgeable staff, to the excellent breakfast (loved the coffee/tea availability all day), to the well appointed rooms, and of course the free parking. The hotel is well located with easy and convenient bus ride to Times Square. We felt appreciated and not taken advantage of. Did not feel we were 'nickel and dimed' for everything. Highly recommend to everyone!

The location was great for getting into NYC. We would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Housekeeping would never give us enough towels. Everyday they shorted us 1/2. Desk staff was always helpful, but even the mgr we spoke to didn't resolve.

Nice clean room, very comfortable. The fridge and microwave in the room were appreciated, as well as the free coffee and tea available 24 hours. Great location for visiting the city of New York, the bus stops right in front of the hotel and runs quite frequently.

Asst. Mgr. Joe was excellent! Shuttle service was a plus.

Price for the level of accommodations was disappointing. No place in the hotel or within walking distance to get a meal. I felt isolated even with shuttle service. No room service! Too many people in such a small breakfast area! No pool or balconies!

We liked the breakfast selections in the morning, with three hungry teenagers to feed! The front desk staff were courteous, and gave us great directions to different locations like Long Beach in N. J.. They printed up google maps for us, and gave personal insight into things we should see in N.Y.

We liked everything at the hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Our stay at the Hampton was great! My mother and I stayed for four nights during our trip to NYC. The staff was really helpful in explaining our options for getting into the city. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the Secaucus train station, from which we took the train to Penn Station. Secaucus is the last stop in NJ, and the train ride was only about 15 minutes. The trains run VERY frequently on the weekdays (I'm not sure what the weekend schedule is). We never waited more than a minute for a train to arrive! There is also a bus station directly across the street from the hotel, but we did not try the bus. The free shuttle took us to the train station and picked us up. The shuttle also ran to a variety of local restaurants. This was great. The pastries available at the continental breakfast were delicious. (At some hotels, free pastries can be awful!) I would highly recommend this hotel to tourists visiting NYC who do not want to pay to stay in Manhattan itself.

No pool. We didn't have much time for swimming, but my mothers always enjoys relaxing in the pool on vacation. The location is not scenic. Other than the large sports arena nearby, there are no attractions. You cannot walk from the hotel to any location. This did not bother us because we were there to see NYC, not the area around the hotel.

The staff were extremely helpful and polite and the went out of their way to help.

Breakfast room was a little small and we had to take breakfast back to our room on most days.
