The room was comfortable and the location is very convenient to nearby attractions such as the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and major league ballpark/arena. Valet staff was disorganized and late in bringing around the car. Front desk staff not knowledgable. Room charges were confusing and no one on site could explain the reason why. Maid did not clean our room the second day. Room keys didn't work.

Very clean. I love the clean duvet cover. I never use bedspreads, but i used yours. Your staff, especially valet and front desk were awesome!!!! Super friendly and professional. We will always stay there when in Cleveland. A little expensive, but best price in the city.

We enjoyed our entire stay minus the breakfast that we missed. The $20 valet service, and the fact that one of the workers drained my battery and I had to go up to my car in 6 degree weather to fix his mistake.

Beds were very comfortable and very clean. Tea, coffee (and some overripe fruit) available always in lobby. Breakfast was amazing. We were billed for two room for three nights each, even though we only stayed two nights.

Friendly and resourceful staff; (except for asst.manager... See what I didn't like);cleanliness; centrally located. I had trouble with the heat/ventilation in the room. The first night I awoke very stuffed up hot even though I turned heat down prior to going to bed. I turned it down even more on the 2nd night. It was better in terms of temperature during the night, but still woke up stuffy. It was not like this when we left the room, or in the lobby. We were also overcharged on our bill which we did not notice until we got home and it showed up on our online banking statement. We called immediately but the asst.manager was not available. The desk clerk said she'd leave a message and he'd call back. He did not. We called back on 1-2-13, and he was at lunch. We left another message. He did not call back. We called again later that same day. He was again not available, but we did talk to Liz Carmen, a manager. She was able to solve the overcharge problem. I also discussed my concern about the air quality of our room as well.

Perfect location for sporting events. Within walking distance for Basketball, Baseball, and Football. Very clean and new looking. Although there were many selections for the continental breakfast, many were cold and not very good.

The hotel is completely predictable. If you travel through the U.S. and stay at the chain hotels you develop a set of aggregate benchmarks. The Hampton Downtown Cleveland hits in the middle of all those standards. So, that's good. No surprises, people are nice, room is good and location is convenient. No character, try picking it from any other of the major chains. Nothing distinguishes the hotel.

Friendly, conscientious staff went out of their way to say "good morning". Breakfast was substantial with lots of choices. Location was ideal — in the west end of the downtown, a short walk from the entertainment and theatre districts as well as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Even the sports venues — Cleveland Browns Stadium and Progressive Field — were reasonably close by. The downtown core empties of pedestrians at night but, if you feel uncomfortable walking after dark, cab fare is going to be modest at such a central location. Parking is slightly confusing. There's no signed underground lot associated with the hotel. Instead you pull into a slip just in front of the hotel and hand off to a valet, a more expensive option than do-it-yourself parking. Perhaps wise to research long-term parking options in the area if you're looking for a cheap day rate.

The rooms were very clean and up to date. The bed was comfortable and there was a selection of pillows, which I like a lot! Good quality tv and an excellent bathroom. The breakfast was ok but great on American standards. Americans still have a lot to learn about great tasting food. All in all, an excellent place to stay and I would recommend at the drop of a hat.

The bed was so comfortable. The room was clean and spacey. Breakfast was good. The clerk at checkout was so rude. We flew in from California and took taxis to get around, he said that he was going to charge us double valet costs if he finds out if we have a car. I was very upset with that.

The location was perfect for the Cleveland Marathon and other activities. We could walk wherever we needed to go. The hotel is clean. The room was spacious. Breakfast in the morning had much variety and that was appreciated. $18 for valet parking--just not something we were accustomed to. The valet personnel were very courteous.

Good location in the city if you are transiting through and want to get away from horrible interstate motels. Centrally located between the three big sporting stadiums and only a 1o min walk to the rock and roll hall of fame

Confortável. Mt bem localizado, a poucas quadras do Rock in Roll Hall of Fame, maior atração da cidade. Segurança falha. Pessoas estranhas tiveram acesso conosco ao hotel, elevador, etc.
