The location couldn't have been better, the room highly exceeded my expectations, and the staff was so easy to work with and helpful. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!
The hotel facilities were excellent. The staff were outstanding, they were so helpful even though we arrived in the middle of mardi gras :)
Breakfast closed at 10 it should close at 10:30 or 11
staff were very pleasant. Free breakfast was excellent.
The breakfast was great saved having to look for a café. Everything you needed for breakfast.
Its fresh clean comfortable look. I would happily go back.
I didn't feel any particular warmth from the front desk, the Bell Captain was always friendly in a natural way. My big complaint is that when the bathroom tap (cold) is not properly turned off it dribbles down the tap and onto the floor, the splashback provides no means for the water to flow into the sink. So in the dark in the middle of the night I got a wet foot.
Proximity to the canal street, at the same time not too close to the main and noisy streets, huge plus.
Breakfast could have been even better.
It was close to everything we wanted to see, within walking distance but just far enough to not hear the noise of Bourbon Street all night.
It was a little pricey. But you pay for the location. A military discount would have been nice.
The room was fantastic lots of room, we were there at a cold time below zero at night, wandering wasn't pleasant plus I got a cold first day there. The pull out couch in the front room and 2 tv's saved us as my cold made it hard for my wife to sleep (snoring was loud lol) breakfast was great and free drinks from 5:30 to 7:30 was more than we expected. Would recommend to anyone.
A long walk to the French Quarter but only becauce of the unsual cold weather
The hotel was Amazing, great breakfast, large room, very strong wifi signal, super helpful staff, We are definitely going to repeat the hotel when we returned to New Orleans
Clean, safe and great for 2 grandparents with older grandchildren-had the queen suite
Walking past the ever present panhandlers
everything about the Hotel is excellent!
Nothing was bad, all good
Staff were very welcoming and helpful w/ any needs I presented. The front desk called me twice during my visit to check that I was enjoying my stay - a service I had not experience with other hotel visits.
I didn't like that the doorman wanted me to move my car across 3 lanes of traffic to have them park it. Fortunately, another, much younger doorman was standing in my close view to pick-up my displeasure w/ the instructions. He politely escorted me to the doorman at the adjacent hotel to get my car keys. (I went to the wrong hotel by accident.)
Close to bourbon street
My husband and I had an excellent stay here. We were super impressed with the facility and the quality of service we received. We arrived at noon and were able to check in right away and go to our room which was very nice. The hotel was in the perfect location for us. We were in town for a Saints game and we were close enough to walk to the Superdome and on the other days of our visit we were able to explore the rest of the area on foot very easily. We elected to valet park our car, which they do just park it in the easy pay next door which is only $20/night as opposed to $34/night. However, it was worth it to valet because we had access to our car whenever we needed it, and while you do walk a lot in New Orleans we did have to drive to a restaurant one night so that was convenient. The breakfast was very good for the most part. They had scrambled eggs and sausage the first day and inlets and potatoes the second. Both days they had fresh oatmeal, make your own waffles, cereal, fruit (canned) and pre-prepared baked goods (these were not the best). Overall we were very happy with our stay and plan on staying here for future visits to NOLA.
- location is good, very close to Bourbon Street (and French Quarter) - good internet - breakfast not great but fair - possibility to print your boarding pass near the breakfast room, very convenient - friendly staff
- asked for a room in high floor, instead I had a room on the 4th floor close to the huge central air-co engines that would work all night long. Also was constant noise comming from the bathroom like if my neighbour was taking a shower constantly for the 4 days I stayed
Located near French Quarter Spacy suite for the price of double room Gym included
The bed was very comfortable , the included breakfast was very good we were given various options
The elevators smelled like raid. At check I asked the lady at the counter if she could call a taxi for me to go to the airport she said yes after sitting in the lobby about 35 minutes I approached the counter to ask if it would much longer for the taxi , she replied "oh I don't need to call just stand out in the front of the hotel and one will stop, I wish had told us that in the beginning
location size of room clean breakfast value
no problems noted
The hotel and the location.
Housekeeping walked right in 30 minutes before check-out time without knocking and I had just gotten out of the shower and was standing there naked. Terrible service for a hotel of this cost.
The location was great. Close to everything and great walking distance.
When I booked the room the total charge was $358. Once I was charged the room was over $400 and we were given a handicapped room with no bathtub in the room only a shower. I know from now on to request a tub.
Location is excellent. Right across the street from the French quarter and easy walking distance to the WW II museum and the Mississippi river. Very quiet so you don't hear all the late night partying.
Sometimes there are homeless sleeping on the sidewalk but if you walk through the building connected to the hotel, you can avoid that.
It was the perfect location - close to everything.
There weren't any rooms for smoking.
Why have you a Men's shop only situated in the Hotel, women are most likely to look around if they had clothes etc for them, we just walked past all the time, and never saw hardley anybody in there!!
Why a Men's shop only? Ladies tend to browse more if you have Ladies, children's clothes & toys etc to take home for gifts, took ages to find clothes shops, other than gifts shops.
