Great staff...great location!
Comfortable, spacious room with lovely bathroom Generous choices at breakfast. Hot food different on second morning.
We didn't like the parking rates!!!
We loved that we were within walking distance to...everything! We walked right next door to the theater for the show. The staff was very pleasant and sent us wine for our anniversary!
As is the case with most downtown hotels, parking is very costly! Allow at least 20 minutes to have valet retrieve your car.
This Hampton Inn was centrally located for all of our weekend activities. We shopped on State St., went to the Chicago Symphony, visited the Art Institute and Millennium Park, and ate at 3 great restaurants . . . all within 3 or 4 blocks! Our room was extremely comfortable, and it was definitely the quietest hotel stay we've ever had! Would stay here again!!
buen desayuno, buena ubicación, todo exelente
Location fairly central - however, only close to Blue line on the Metro. Quite a walk to the others - thank goodness it was good weather when we were there!
Liked being above the theatre. And rooms were clean and spacious - windows blocked...?
We found the hotel very nice, good location, eating and shopping good. Breakfast was good. Room very nice and comfortable.
Paper cups in the room. Real mugs and glasses were expected for the cost we paid to stay there.
The large spacious room was very clean.
One of towels has faint lipstick stain.
Breakfast, bed, and location
They first booked me in a room already occupied! The guy I interrupted almost took my head off and I didn't blame him! Then they assigned me a vacant room but the key cards didn't work! Took me 3 trips up and down, lugging my luggage, but they got it right. They apologized profusely and cut $20 from the rate!
Price for a new modern loop hotel was a great bargain.
The view from our room was horrible.
Friendly helpful staff great location.
No reason to complain at all.
Everything. The location, the staff, the city, the room. Great place to stay.
The coffee and tea service and the helpful friendliness of the staff.
excellent location, quiet room, super clean, friendly staff. Great value
The cleaning staff has a bit of a heavy hand with the air freshener.
Couldn't be a more convenient location, so I was surprised by the relatively low price. Room quality is pretty high!
Nothing. Well, one thing. When I tried to book this hotel again, I could not even get close to the same price. Although not a surprise (because it really is a solid 3.5 star hotel), it was a disappointment. Oh, well, maybe next February.
Everything. The room was beautiful. The location was perfect. I had 4 places to be--the Chase Auditorium, Millennium Park skating rink, the Art Institute, and the Goodman Theater--and they all were within a few blocks of the hotel. The staff was attentive and gracious. It was a perfect experience.
The bed is too soft for me. I prefer a harder one while It depends on people's likes.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Really like them. Clean Room. Good location.
- Sufficient breakfast - Homey atmosphere - Great location
The site lied about the parking options. There is NO on site parking. If you pay the $55 dollars for the "on-site" parking you are paying for valet parking. You have no access to your car and your car is parked 7 blocks away. The valet company was nice enough to tell me that my car was subject to theft!
Everything but the parking.
nice staff, clean
breakfast served on paper plates and paper cups
position in Chicago loop close to airport blue line. Excellent information leaflets giving clear instructions eg "turn left out of hotel........then no 6 bus to museum."
lotion run out without fill in
Location and valet parking. Breakfast was a better quality than most.
Housekeeping started early, no chach to sleep in...
Easy walking distance from great shops, short cab ride from old town, and many other attractions. The coffee & tea in the lobby 24/7 was awesome. Breakfast was very good also. Room was kinds small, but met our needs. Fun weekend, will definitely go back!
