Hampton Inn Manhattan-35th Street/Empire State Building  

The location is excellent and the breakfast buffet also. The beds were comfortable and all the staff friendly and helpful. Will definetly stay there again on my next trip to New York.

A very clean Hotel in a fantastic location, very central in Manhattan, with easy access to all the sights, subway station just a few yards from hotel. The staff were all excellent and very helpful. 10/10.

The hotel was central to all our needs, clean and staffed with friendly people.

Not being able to get a table for the complimentary breakfast for our family whilst single people sat at tables for four was MORE than annoying, to the point the first day we walked out without eating, not what we had planned at all.

Staff were very attentive to the needs of guests. They were very polite, too.

A bit expensive for the amenities though breakfast was very generous.

Location, midtown ! Time square is 5 minutes walk ! Very near to a subway station , a couple of blocks from Penn Station which comes directly from JFK through Jamaica station, very nice breakfast, Cofee and tea free 24/24!

No facilities, no mini bar in the room! If it was a little cheaper, then I would say it is perfect, other than this it was good !

The room was tidy and clean. The power charge unit with usb plugs and electrical sockets was great. The bathroom was proportionally bigger than the room. Hot water was never an issue. The housekeeper gave us plenty of towels and toiletries, and when we asked for a hair dryer, we got it. The complimentary breakfast was ok. The wifi was ok too. The very best of the hotel is the location. In the Garment Center with a subway station just in the nearest corner. A short walk and you are in the Theater District, Midtown, Chelsea or Murray Hill.

We were three in a tiny room. The room was packed with two double beds, a drawer, a desk, a chair, a "kind of a joke" of a closet and a bedside table. We could barely moved around. Beds were not comfortable. We found the mattresses way too soft. The shower was disappointing. We were in the second floor so we did not use the elevators but twice, after check-in and before check-out. Both times we had to wait and wait to get into an elevator with our luggage.

Slow elevator

I love the free internet, and I could not believe how great the free breakfast was. I have stayed at four star hotels in NY, but none compare to the great service we received when we checked in. I I will inform my coworkers to stay at your hotel. In matter of fact, I will be returning to NY, in about two weeks for girlfriends weekend, and we will stay at your hotel. Great service.

No wash cloth in bathroom. I had to call the front desk and they brought them to us.

I feel safe when walking around the area at 11pm at night just with my lady friend. The hotel is very accessible to subway, stores and food. The hotel breakfast always serves fresh fruit and variable food. I also enjoy the all day complimentry coffee,tea, hot chocolate station.

the heating system is very noisy. It woke me up at night.

Location of Hampton Inn close to Macy's was great. The included breakfast offered good options and healthy choices

Casual attire of the staff sometimes matched by casual attitude. No secure luggage storage on site when we had one night away touring ,we had to take all luggage with us instead of small bag only.

Great location if going in a shopping trip. Close to subways, time square and Macy's. what else could a mother daughter trip need!!!! Shopping, shopping and more shopping!!!!!! Hotel was very comfortable as well. Loved the beds!!!

Large group of teenagers visiting from England. Running around and yelling in the halls until 1:00am for two nights. I did not sleep. Nobody asked them to be quiet.

Great location, easy to walk to midtown sights. Subway station just outside. Good-sized room with big, comfortable bed and decent-powered shower. Breakfast was a bonus. Staff very friendly. Fitness centre recently updated.

Noisy ice machine just outside of our room was occasionally a nuisance. Disposable cutlery and crockery and breakfast wasn't ideal.

Ideally places to explore New York. Short walk from Maccy's for shopping.

The location is great being around the corner from the Empire State Building and basically across the road from Macys. Also the entrance to the 34th Street/Herald Square subway was only about 50 meters from the hotel. Free WiFi worked very well. The room we had Empire View) was very clean and roomy enough.

The included breakfast was very basic and limited in food options. The use of Plastic Cutlery and Polystyrene plates does not give an impression of an up market establishment. The heater/cooler fan was very noisy when operating.
