Location was amazing, service was great. Breakfast eating area was great
Iron didn't work :(
Front desk clerk and other staff were very pleasant during our stay. Soon after we checked in, we got a call from the front desk lady asking if we were happy with the room end everything else. Our room was a part of adjoining room and we could hear next door people talking and their child crying. I wasn't happy with the room and we told the clerk about that and she immediately changed our room. The room we moved was more comfortable and we were very happy with the room we stayed.
Room, Breakfast, internet, staff
Front rooms are very noisy, at all times since Watts streets is the entrance to Holland Tunnel
Staff was great Very Clean
Excellent city view, great location and very comfy bed.
easy access to coffee
Would have preferred to be closer to subway stops
One day our room was not ready until after 4:00PM
The front desk stuff was mostly not helpful and the bar as well. Everything else was good
Helpful staff and good location
Great staff, great location, great price
Loved the clean rooms and excellent breakfast!!! A+
Staff was very friendly. Checkout is early but they will store your luggage.
Rooms are very small. We requested a rollaway but on arrival we were told the room is small and can not accomodate the crib/rollaway. Very close to holland tunnel entrance and so the road was very busy and getting the car in and out of hotel reception area was a struggle.
Staff warm helpful and smiling! Very much enjoyed my short stay, would definately return to the same location.
The breakfast was amazing. Eggs, bacon, make your own waffles, cereal, juice, etc. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean, the shower was huge. No bathtub which was fine with me. I always stay her when I visit the city. My daughter stays here when she travels for work. Not expensive for the city. Will return!!
The front desk, while nice, was not knowledgeable about the area. The air conditioner was noisy.
As all the hampton inn its always an excellent choice , clean and nice
The price should be cheaper as i checked the hampton inn near the more touristic areas which wont cost tranportatio. And it was only an average 25 dollars cheaper Also the coices in breakfast should items that suits lactose intoleranced pepoe and peaple who dont eat porke
good location, very convenient location when it came to getting a taxi and only a ten-15 minute walk to popular stores.
We called ahead and asked if our rooms two rooms were ready, the staff told us they were both ready. When we got to the hotel we were told one of the rooms was ready, but other one was not. The rooms we reserved online were also not the rooms we were given. We reserved a king for both rooms but were given two queens instead. Nothing major but slightly inconvenient.
Complimentary breakfast and the value for the cost of the hotel is good.
Only one elevator was working and we were on the 16th floor it took almost half an hour to wait for an elevator to be available. We had to go up and down 16 floors at times to save time.
Large room. Good breakfast. Convenient location.
Only one elevator in service. Long wait times.
Location is prime for lower Manhattan!!! We go to Soho (specifically) 4 times a year and it couldn't be in a better spot! As we all know, NYC is expensive (especially staying on average, a week at a time), the Mexican restaurant Lupe's,(literally just outside the hotel) matches the hotel's hospitality & good prices! Staff was great! (Good service & impeccably maintained!) The room was really nice; and, The roof top deck is pretty darn nice too!!!
They only major problem - elevator was much too slow; the breakfast was absolutely gross! (sorry to be harsh w/this one but it was atrocious!); for the price of the room, no fridge or micro is a pretty big deal; last but not least, only other minor problem was no ice bucket.
We would like to go again. This place has a lot to offer: Comfortable bed, quiet room with a view of the Empire state building, good breakfast. Location is great: few minutes from the subway and walking distance from very good restaurants.
Hampton Inn in Soho is in a great location with numerous restaurants and excellent shopping within walking distance. The subway Canal Street to get uptown is only a couple of minutes walk away. Staff are friendly and helpful and a good breakfast is offered. This is our third trip to New York and this is by far the best location we have stayed in. Soundproofing is good so no unwelcome early awakenings..
Bed was a bit soft for me, however, my husband and sons were perfectly happy.
good access to mid town and downtown Manhatten Un fussy
Room was fine and clean. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.
Air cooling unit was extremely loud even on the lowest setting, making it difficult to sleep. Staff in bar were almost rude when we asked if we could use a few wine glasses, as the hotel provides only paper cups in rooms.
Helpful staff, though not very enthusiastic. Next shift front desk representative seems was not updated well (or at all) on the messages and tasks left during previous shift. Location is ok. Friendly staff on dining room. Good wi-fi, also nice to have printer on lobby ( although it did not work, when I tried to print out :) ) Breakfast was relatively good. Basically, I'd not recommend the hotel because it does not worth money you pay for it, but if you don't have a choice, it is ok.
There was old shower. In the first room I got, water pressure in shower was so weak, I could not take shower normally. Approached staff on the reception and they changed a room. But since there was no available free rooms I should wait for 16:00 for the next day check in. Uncomfortable feeling, I was frustrated. Shower in new room was a little bit better ( but very little :) ). In new room bedding was dirty, so it was required to approach reception again and wait again...
Very good layout of space and clean. Staff very nice. Breakfast very good and varies daily. Internet worked great.
On street to entrance to Holland tunnel and only room for two cars in front of entrance.
