Staff were amazing and very friendly ! Breakfast was also really good
a bit rundown
The breakfast is delicious!
They don't have a shuttle to airport.
The roof view and the room breakfast was good too
The location The traffic was so bad over there not easy to get too
Location in NY Rooftop space
Non adjusting fan on air con
Location is relatively close to Canal Street Subway station with convenient links to different parts of NYC. Room was reasonably sized and the air conditioning was working well.
The breakfast was very basic and hotel was a bit too expensive.
Why doesn't the hotel have a service elevator. 19 floors, two elevators, service people had to share with customers. Not good. When I arrived I asked for a room on a high floor, knowing I would like some light into the room. The person at the desk gave me a room on the 8th floor facing a brick wall. I went back downstairs and was given a room on the 18th floor, with two large windows, plenty of sun. Why couldn't that be done the first time? Although I travel a lot, I very rarely stay in hotels in NYC (since I have family and friends there). This was my second time staying in a hotel. I felt the room was not as clean as it should have been. There was a lot of furniture in such a small room. A sofa, desk, chair, armoire, sofa, bed, two end tables, standing lamp. So crowded. I did ask for a small fridge while I was there, the person did bring it up to the room, but did not PLUG IT IN. Someone did com up and plug it in, since I could not find a plug with all the furniture in such a small room. I was in room 1800.
The air conditioning control and response was great
Location was amazing, service was great. Breakfast eating area was great
Iron didn't work :(
Front desk clerk and other staff were very pleasant during our stay. Soon after we checked in, we got a call from the front desk lady asking if we were happy with the room end everything else. Our room was a part of adjoining room and we could hear next door people talking and their child crying. I wasn't happy with the room and we told the clerk about that and she immediately changed our room. The room we moved was more comfortable and we were very happy with the room we stayed.
Room, Breakfast, internet, staff
Front rooms are very noisy, at all times since Watts streets is the entrance to Holland Tunnel
Staff was great Very Clean
Excellent city view, great location and very comfy bed.
The front door was loose even when we were in the room. The dead bolt didn't secure the room-door was just as loose.Didn't feel like we were secure.
easy access to coffee
Would have preferred to be closer to subway stops
Location. Financial District, Little Italy and Chinatown an easy walk.
Noise & traffic due to proximity to Holland Tunnel.
One day our room was not ready until after 4:00PM
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is brilliantly located. The constant availability of coffee, tea and hot water in the lobby turned out to be very convenient for us when we wanted to get the baby's formula milk ready. Breakfast was varied and great. Room was fairly spacious.
We had asked for a cot for the baby, but it wasn't in the room when we got there. Not a big deal as in the end we preferred to have the extra space and ended up with the baby in bed with us. The shower was fixed so that it was not possible to give the baby a bath. The paper on the wall in the bathroom had yellowed and was peeling a bit. There was no minibar which would have been useful for us to store some of the baby food.
Break fast is good with a variety of options.
I am a frequent traveler but for the first time I have seen that staff at front desk could be that rude and arrogant. To the extent that you feel uncomfortable to talk to them and even ask a small bit of information. They don't yell ' but make you feel like that. Towels were dirty' as I feel they don't either wash them or just dry and put them back on racks. You can see stains on them. I got severe infection in my eye and shown this to the front desk. The hotel is clos to SOHO which is a good shopping hub but other than this the hotel has nothing. Just move a little bit towards financial district where you can find very good hotels at same price. I initially booked holiday inn express there but cancelled that and moved to this hotel (to my bad luck). Will not recommend this hotel at all.
The front desk stuff was mostly not helpful and the bar as well. Everything else was good
Helpful staff and good location
Great staff, great location, great price
Loved the clean rooms and excellent breakfast!!! A+
Staff was very friendly. Checkout is early but they will store your luggage.
Rooms are very small. We requested a rollaway but on arrival we were told the room is small and can not accomodate the crib/rollaway. Very close to holland tunnel entrance and so the road was very busy and getting the car in and out of hotel reception area was a struggle.
Staff warm helpful and smiling! Very much enjoyed my short stay, would definately return to the same location.
