Great location, helpful staff, decent size room. My husband and I shared a room with his parents. room was big enough to accomodate all luggage. The breakfasts are crowded during later hours (after 8am) but they have a very convenient grab and go breakfast bag if you don't have time for breakfast.

Everything was great.

The hotel was well situated. It is about a 5 minute walk to central Time Square. The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help you. Our particular thanks goes to Richie who works in maintenance. Very nice team of staff.

The fact that breakfast is included is misleading as it is really basic - eggs, porridge, bread and fruit. The food was not labeled so a real risk you will eat something you prefer not to. The staff made eggs without bacon for me.

The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. Rooms for NYCity were a good size, clean, comfortable beds, and the free breakfast was a plus, staff very helpful w/directions... Would definitely stay there again!

Did not realize check in wasn't until 3:00. Had planned on taking a quick shower upon arrival and making a 3:00 apt. Instead went to the apt. without the shower...Pulled out sleeper sofa and touched the side on the king bed. No room to walk around.

Fabulous location, close enough to enjoy the hustle and bustle of Times Square without being in it! Loved the complimentary tea and coffee, free wi-fi and great breakfast. Oh and the afternoon cookies were a very welcome addition:-) Very comfy beds made our stay pretty perfect - I'd definitely recommend the Hampton Inn to friends planning a trip to NYC!

Nothing really... If I was being picky, the bathroom was quite tiny but perfectly adequate.

When booking our girl's weekend in NYC for the Memorial Day weekend, we had three demands- queen beds, free WIFI, and free breakfast. We got all of those for a great rate! Although we knew it was close, we were astonished at the fact that the Gershwin Theater was literally right around the corner from the hotel for our Saturday afternoon viewing of "Wicked." Central Park is a mile from the hotel and very manageable to walk. Every staff person, from the front desk personnel, concierge, breakfast staff, and housekeeping staff, was cordial and accommodating. They held our bags in a secure location prior to check in and after we checked out while we squeezed in every last minute of sightseeing. The rooms were as expected and the beds were comfortable. The variety of food items for the breakfast was amazing! The breakfast area can get pretty busy at peak times (like after 8 am), but most times we just made a plate and took it back to our room. The complimentary coffee and tea throughout the day and the large bowl of apples for the taking were a nice touch. There are complimentary cookies during the weekdays too! For an already expensive trip to the city, the little freebies were really appreciated! We had a really enjoyable long weekend in NYC!

One minor flaw of the room was the fact that there isn't a bathroom fan, so even taking a slightly warm shower steamed up the bathroom. The only true gripe we had and it is not the fault of Hampton Inn or Booking.com, was the taxes. Booking.com does not include taxes in the rate displayed or when you actually book and between the state, city, occupancy, and unit taxes, our 3 night stay accumulated an additional $175 in charges from the taxes. So just be prepared for an additional 15% to be added to the price quote from Booking.com.

Staff- Room kept very clean Safe was broken. Fixed by the next day. To our surprise, a box of cupcakes arrived to apologize for our inconvenience. Great staff- very professional.

We were there for both business and pleasure. The hotel has a great location. The staff was excellent and provided great service. The hotel is clean and comfortable.

The breakfast food wasn't that great.

All are expectations were met. Coffee is good, and the attention to detail from staff was a nice touch.

The breakfast room really needs to be bigger as it was difficult to get a seat. One day we had to eat in our room.

We stayed at Hampton Inn during late April '13 and found the staff and facilities to be excellent. The guest services lady was always welcoming and took an interest in our family. She made our stay memorable. The location was 2 blocks from the centre of Times Square and a 10min walk to Central Park. Our kids loved this place, especially the breakfast. We would stayed again and again. Highly recommended.

The staff was extremely pleasant from the moment we walked through the door. They made us feel welcome. We were there celebrating my daughters 21st birthday and they sent her complimentary items as a gift. Great touch. We got great show tickets right downstairs. We will never stay anywhere else in the city!
