Hampton Inn Manhattan - Times Square South  

the location is great.

the waiting time for the lifts at rush hours. sometimes we had to wait 20 minutes. during our stay, the hotel was making some renovations in the hotel lobby and breakfast area. it was disturbing.

Location, cleanliness, very good buffet breakfast and very polite and helpful staff!

Location of the Hotel is only thing that I like.

Facility in hotel need improvement. Corridor is very small and not enough for 2 people to walk. Room is very small. Breakfast is include in my reservation while there is no dining hole also the food not arrange inside the hotel.

This property was very clean and well managed. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate the needs and desires of their guests. The rooms were small but from what I can understand, that is to be expected. We left early each morning and didn't return until late each evening, so all we wanted was a clean room with a clean bed and shower. The location was good. We walked to most attractions although some of them were a fairly good distance away. It was far enough off the beaten path to be quite at night, but close enough to be convenient to the sites and sounds of NYC. The breakfast was adequate but the breakfast room was too small. It was very crowded each morning. We did get a table the first morning, but not on Saturday morning since I'm sure more people had checked in for the weekend. Overall, it was a good experience and I would stay here again.

This property was having renovations done while we were there. They were tiling the floor and putting up wallpaper in the lobby area. It was a nuisance more than anything. The staff did a great job taking care of their guests despite the noise and commotion. The biggest inconvenience was the elevators. They were performing maintenance on them while we were there, so very often only one of the two were in service. On one occasion we had to call the front desk and ask for the elevator because the call button was not working. That day they had a person manually operating the working elevator.

The location of the hotell, the Staff was very friendly...Clean rooms...

We lived on the 28:th floor and in the mornings we have to wait a long time for the elevator...

Place: close to subway and shopping area but very quiet. Free water, coffee and tea 24/7. Clean room. Super friendly staff.

Had some problems with air condition but it was fixed right after request.

I loved everything, especially the kindness and warmly reception by all the staff.

I would surely recommend this hotel if you are doing a NY city trip. Good value for your money. The hotel is perfectly situated nearby all shopping streets and sightseeing attractions. It has clean rooms and a friendly staff. And if you decide to go there, please say hello to Yesis. He will make sure that you will enjoy a wonderful breakfast. .

The small rooms! It was impossible to move in this room with two children let alone the bathroom which could only fit one person at a time. Very tight. Elevator was slower than walking 30 floors.

Excellent location,close to all major attractions in New York in fact within walking distances.Clean rooms and clean beds with neat linens.In fact when I wanted to change the room allotted to me which did not have a locker to one which had,they did it immediately. The staff at the counter are well trained and ready to help.Excellent comlementary breakfast with nice spread of breads,cerials,juices and hot drinks-even for a vegitarian like me.Coffee/tea available throughout day and night.Excellent value for money overall.

I wish I would have known how small the rooms were. I went with my two teenaged kids and the room was way too small. The room had two double beds in it and there was absolutely no place for our luggage and NO walking room. I'm sorry to say while in the room I was a nervous wreck.

The hotel is on walking distance of Times Square and offers a nice breakfast: good variety. Throughout the day free coffee and tea is available in the lobby. The fitness is relatively small but good, with new equipment (2 tredmills, 1 cross trainer, a bike and some weights). Although our room was almost next to the elevator, it didn't bother us. There are only 6 rooms per floor, which limits the traffic.

The room was relatively small, but that's New York... we had two double beds (140 cm wide each). The lift takes quite some time in rush hour and breakfast can be very busy.

Lifts busy, usually had to wait. Had left an item in the room and am still waiting on housekeeping responding to me.

Size of room

It's a good value. Good location. Good staff. Good bedroom, big for Manhattan standards.

We asked the front desk to arrange transportation to the airport for us. We set a closed price that should have included tolls and tips. After we had our luggage in and the car was rolling the driver said that in order to arrive to the airport in time he would have to take another route and we would have to pay another 8 dollars for the tolls. We protested but ended up paying as his english got worse and worse.

We were early for check in and the staff kindly checked our bags so we could enjoy the city until the room was ready. They also looked after our bags after check out so we could enjoy a few more hours of the city. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was great.

The room is too small... One can barely move in the shower area.

The location is great, it is close to the time square, only three blocks away.

The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Brittany is a star.

The duvets. They are not working as all the filling is in lumps so there are areas of no coverage. This means it's uncomfortable and cold. We asked and they changed to another the same! Apparently the housekeeper said most of them were like this. Fairly basic requirement is to be warm and comfortable in bed and this part was not happening! The price on the website did not indicate all 4 types of taxes so the bill was alot more than we anticipated for a 2 night stay. On line it said $418 but including taxes it was $486.

Everything. Breakfast plentiful, super-clean comfy room, really nice bathroom, ironing board, free wi-fi, business center. We will definitely be back
