Hampton Inn Madison Square Garden  

The location was excellent, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was very good.

The overall standard I felt was not as good as a Hampton hotel I stayed at in thr U.K.; bed was comfortable but room lacked decent seating and no safety deposit box; en-suite lacked sufficient work top space. Room had a very noisy ice making(!) machine right outside the door

We liked everything, would definately stay there again. Not one complaint, location, close to Penn and Metro, great breakfast and very helpful and pleasant staff.

The room was very nice and exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable. Not a lot of closet space - but it's a small room. A refrigerator would be nice to have in the room because the ice machines didn't work on several of the floors. All in all, it was a great time for my partner's first visit to New York. We were here for the wedding of a gay couple we have known for years. The whole experience was postitive. Your front dest staff were very helpful in helping us print out our boarding passes for our trip home. One of the guys even suggested a restaurant that gave a discount for Hampton guests - very nice!! Good food too.

I'm a competitive bodybuilder and according to your information - you had a gym for guests.............Not so much!! No weights!! I can get my cardio walking the streets of New York. That was disappointing for me. The breakfast was nice each morning and I was able to get my protein "fix" with the eggs you had available easilly. More fresh fruit would be nice as it goes quickly with all the guests eating. Again - all was quite nice.

The location was very good.

When they delivered the invoice, I saw that they had applied a higher price. I asked for a revision of the price, because the rate price was not applied correctly, as it was confirmed by booking page. They accepted the revisión, and the invice was corrected.

The complimentary breakfast can't be beat! What a great deal and a money saver! The beds and pillows were comfy too.

The rooms are a bit small and it's tricky to navigate 4 suitcases in a room. Also, we saw a cockroach run across our floor.

So many important qualities I liked about this hotel: very clean, the staff is extremely helpful, and several little 'extras' that were not expected but very appreciated! I was traveling for the first time with my 1 year old and the staff helped by sending up a refridgerator for his milk, a microwave to help sterilize his bottles, and accomodated freezing a cold pack for my flight back to Dallas. The staff were very, very helpful. :) The hotel has a wonderful breakfast, they even pack a 'to go' version too! The little extra surprise was on the cold weather day, I was greated with warm apple cider, warm cookies out of the oven, and hot soup!

The only negative to my stay was the slow elevators, not all the time, but a few times. I can live with that given the clean hotel and the accomodating staff.

Perfect location, close to Macy's, Empire State Building and Time's Square. Love the included breakfast. Clean, comfortable rooms and helpful staff.

I liked the location near everything, the services were good, the breakfast was good as well and the drinks the whole day and in the evenings the cookies.

I didn't like in the beginning the noise from the conditioner I suppose but then I 've got used to it and didn't care about that or didn't bother me anymore when I was sleeping.
