- Great location - Quiet even with a room on lift area - Spacious room and bathroom - Included breakfast - Friendly and efficient staff
- City building works very close but activity time frame is respected so we don't have been disturbed during night.
We had 4 great days in NYC - the Hampton Inn Madison Square Garden provided easy access to Penn Station and was within walking distance to most mid-town hot spots. Hotel had a great complimentary breakfast, good coffee and very good cookies. All members of the staff were very helpful, friendly and never too busy to provide assistance. They also provided free drink tickets to a nearby bar. We ate dinner at Uncle Nicks Greek restaurant on 8th and 29th and also tried the Eatily - both were really good. We will definitely stay at this hotel the next time we visit NYC. B/A/D
There was not one thing not to like.
Location and service was great
good service tasty breakfast great location clean rooms
no possibility to open to windows for the fresh air loud ice machine next to the room door
Major construction site next door didn't bother my sleep at all; you could only hear it if you sat outside in the morning. Everything else great.
Typical mass-produced breakfast with plenty of styrofoam.
Great location Friendly and helpful staff Good breakfast selection
Lift waiting time
Very friendly staff. Comfy beds. Fantastic central location. Free wi-fi. Immaculate room. Powerful hot shower. Choice of complimentary coffee in the dining room all day (decaf, strong or medium) -easier to take to your room than to use the in-room coffee machines. Lots of choice at breakfast.
Plastic cutlery and disposable plates at breakfast.
Rooms ok but very small.
The location was off 7th avenue were the homeless sleep so you didn't feel safe. When we arrive the building was engulfed in building scaffolding. We could have served the men on there with coffee through our window. The 2 elevators were used to ferry staff from floor to floor causing major queues on all floors for the guests who wanted to use them. They advertise a 100% money back if not satisfied however as the manager stated the building work wasn't part of the hotel and therefore didn't come into this offer. We moved to another Hilton at Times Square for the same price. I wouldn't recommend to stop here even if there was no building work as the staff are rude and certainly not a Hilton standard.
location access to transport friendly reception/staff
very cramped limited service/facilities given price only 2 lifts for 19-storey hotel
Good location, decent breakfast
Small room as expected
The Cleanliness and friendly staff
The plastic knifes and forks at breakfast. the paper plates and the fact the eating hall is very small. it was chaos in the mornings.
Staff were very helpful and polite . The facilities were good and the free breakfast was excellent . The rooms were very clean and cleaned every day .
The only negative point , we found the rooms were quite small but we were travelling as a family of five with 3 teenage boys .
Could not find water to drink at night
Very clean and attractive. Great breakfast and value.
Location, location, location. The staff was great and very helpful.
The ac units lack of control even though I would use the wall thermostat.
Great location Very clean Friendly staff Great breakfast Quiet Comfy Good air con
When we arrived after a long journey we were told they didn't have a twin room like we'd ordered. After we explained we were father and daughter and could not share they found a twin room without fuss! Slow lift! Lack of storage
our room was too small for a family, they souldnt reserve a room like that to a family
Room was very small for 4 people
Free WiFi worked well. Breakfast was fine with fair selection including fresh fruit and there was space to sit. Clean bathroom and room was quiet with comfortable beds. Close enough to Penn Station to be able to walk with suitcase. Staff friendly and helpful.
Location has a construction site next to it but at present time they were not working so no noise. Also street had a few drunks as I think has a homeless shelter; not a problem as hotel at a junction.
Nicely designed, friendly staff, excellent free breakfast, good amenities in the room.
Long wait at the elevator, when I took stairs as an alternative, I ended up going to the street via a fire exit and not to the lobby. I had to go to other floors for ice. Not on every floor.
I really like it here and I don't have no complaints
Location, staff, confort
Todo Busy elevators
We were pleased with the cleanliness and convenience of the location to the train station. The staff were always courteous, friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
