Very friendly staff...really clued into customer service. Great bed and room large and comfortable.

Breakfast closes too early. I was tired and didn't get down for breakfast until 10.30am. Also could do with more healthy choices for baked goods etc. at counter.

Close to Newark Airport & Newark Airport trains. Staff very friendly & helpful. Hotel was clean & comfortable.

Pleasant check-in staff. Quick and efficient. Comfortable room, with good amenities. Close to the airport with convenient Shuttle bus. As we had an early flight, we took advantage of the take-away breakfast.

The hotel was fine.

The area surrounding the airport is very trashy, old, and ill-maintained. Shocked that area surrounding an international airport was this poorly maintained. Highway system is very confusing, even with gps.

Location and price

Compared to other Hampton Inns it appearedquite "used". The bed was not as plush. The sheets not as nice. The pillows os lower quality etc.

I booked 4 days there with a non-refund price.But due to our itinerary change ,we could only stay for 2 nights. I called booking.com hotline, told them my problem. They contacted with hotel mananged and solved my problem soon.Thank you very much! Even a little old, it is a clean,cosy,warm hotel and very close to the airport with 24-hours shuttle buses. Strongly recommend.

Good Shuttle Service to Airport

Great service, from the moment we called the hotel to check if there a car close to pick us up at the terminal, to the staff at reception and kitchen first thing in the morning. We couldn't enjoy the breakfast as flight was too early, so they prepared for us a small bag with a muffin, apple and water. Very nice!

Easy access to anew ark airport, the shuttle driver was helpful and provided great information about using public transportation in nyc. Trip into the city was quick and getting back late at night was easier than I thought it would be. Hotel was very comfortable, clean, and quiet-- especially considering its proximity to the airport. Price was great, parking was free, and the breakfast was much appreciated! Would definitely recommend and stay again when we want to spend a weekend in the city.

The hotel wad absolutely spotless clean . The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The breakfast was good fresh,the airport transfer on time all the time and its minutes from jersey gardens shopping mall. All and all a great hotel.

Poor free TV program selection

Close to the airport with good shuttle service; comfortable room with fridge & Microwave. After suffering from the effects of Hurricane Sandy (we had been without power: electricity, heating, light, cooking facilities, Internet, telephone etc. for a week in New Jersey), it was a haven of warmth and light, with a connection to the outside world through the free wifi and the television, prior to our return to the uk.

There was nothing we didn't like. It Was perfect!

I first and foremost liked the value for the room. Comparatively, for a tad over 100.00 per night, the bed was very comfortable, which is very important since I have back problems. Cleanliness is paramount as well and the room was very clean. A slight hint of smoke smell on pillows, but nothing that I had to call front desk about. They always accomodated need for extras immediately. Only thing I did not like was one of the night clerks called on our way (making a crucial exit to Spring St.-if you missed that exit, you have to go into Elizabeth and find a way to turn around as you cannot just make a left turn back onto highway) this happened because the clerk called (after we called earlier and stated that we would be checking in late) and said that the card we used to book with booking.com did not authorize the full amount. First of all, I thought they would not authorize until day we check out. Secondly, he said if we did not give him another card that would authorize over 900.00-since we stayed 7 days, that he would give our room to another customer since they were fully booked. So as I am trying to get another card number to him, feeling bushwacked-we missed our exit!!! I let him know when I got there that I was quite perturbed with that tactic. He said I should have told him I was almost there-however, he said over the phone that if he did not have another card number he would give our room away, we did not have anywhere else to stay so of course, I am going to give you another card number right away! At any rate, it worked out fine and had no other issues. Breakfast was good comparatively. At least they vary the breakfast menu daily and have sausages, bacon, waffles, premade omlettes, yougurt, fresh fruits, bagles-so cannot really complain about that.

The front desk got our total amount mixed up and pre-authorized about 150.00 too much. Fortunately, I called booking.com and they called the General Mgr. Nesh and immediately straightened that out and made sure we got a receipt from the hotel.

Breakfast options were very good, parking spaces were abundant, room and bathroom were extremely clean. Good internet service (free).

Courtesy of the staff at the reception desk could be a little better.

The bed was great. The staff was awesome. We had a problem with a plugged toilet and at about 11 PM, the staff was right there to get us squared away. The breakfast was excellent.

The hotel was difficult to get to as the roads in the area are confusing.
