when I booked the room online it stated it was a 5 person room but there were only 2 QUeen size beds in the room This meant 3 of us had to squeeze into a Queen size bed which was rather uncomfortable. I was not happy that I was not advised in advance that we would have to share You should also warn people that to get to the the free Hotel bus requires walking outside for 5 minutes from Arrivals building, then catching a train. We would much rather have paid the small cost of a taxi from outside the Arrivals hall than had to endure walking 5 minutes in sub zero temps and a 10 minute airtrain ride and then still wait for 5 minutes on the kerb in subzero temps for the bus
Staff was very nice and friendly.
I booked with booking.com and the final bill showed a higher rate. The person at the front desk was rude and unhelpful in resolving the issue.
the staff did a good job to place us in a new room, this room was just finished. transport from and to the hotel (shuttlebus) was well organized.

I noticed a duplicate charge for my one night stay for the night of January 5 and checking out on the 6th. I have called the Hampton Inn and am awaiting a call back to talk with someone in accounting before a dispute the charge on my amex card.

its hard waiting for a shuttle every time we go to downtown station and back.especially when its cold weather.but aside from this the hotel is good.

Reception desk had no change available for $10 note to use in vending machine after 6pm. As a diabetic I needed sugar drink urgently. Luckily other guest I asked obliged.

The attitude of person at the front counter was not that great, and made the check in a bad experience. She acted like she own the place and did not care to much about the person she was serving. The room had a bad leak in the bathtub, so we had to ask to change us to another room. We also had to request an extra folding bed, and they delivered it and left it up to us to put it in place. The experienced at the check in time made the difference between a pleasant and a bad stay. I believe, the people who work at the hotels have to be friendly to their guests and make them feel welcomed.
The hotel was comfortable, clean, had good facilities and the staff were incredibly helpful and professional.
A company posing as a replacement shuttle bus service tried to extort money out of us (beware). The Manager came to our aid and dealt with the situation very well indeed.

Easy and efficient access to JFK. Shuttle good both ways and starts at 4.30am ideal for early flights, particularly day time flights to Europe.
The staff are all helpful. The shuttle drivers helped us to our room as we could not find a luggage cart. Nice chaps. Dining room staff very pleasant and friendly.
Only 3 luggage carts for a hotel with maybe 180 bedrooms!! I could not believe it.

Hotel was good clean and reliable. For JFK perfectly situated. That suited us. Not ideal as a base to visit Manhattan as it is too far out. Good public transport link to Manhattan but it takes just over an hour. WiFi facilities great
Breakfast facilities were too little for the number of guests they are handling. It was a scrum.
Good loations, close to the airport and freeway. Staff was nice, not always very prompt, but helpful.
Bathroom was little outdated without any exhust
I booked this hotel by mistake but It was the best mistake I did on this trip. There were 5 of us, two adults and three children. We had a connecting flight so we only stayed for one night. The staff were lovely and welcoming. The room was nice and clean we had a very comfortable night. We went over to the Hillton hotel to view one of there rooms with two double beds. Our room at the Hampton was bigger and nicer and the price was way cheaper would definitely recommend to everyone.
The sigs could have been more clear when we reached the airport.

Good hotel near JFK. Nice staff, good complimentary breakfast. Easy van ride to terminal. I will stay there again when I travel to airport.
