This Little Piggy” Pending review 2 of 5 stars has lots of lipstick on it. As a ten year Hilton Diamond I've stayed at many Hampton Inns over the years. This older property was built during the first WDW gold rush. That makes her over 40 years old. The cosmetic appearances are well taken care of. The lobby area is bright and clean, the outside landscaping looks good. The multinational front desk clerks are friendly, but this is surface only. My benchmark for a good stay is how well I sleep. This property has several glaring areas needing attention. There are no ceiling fans in the rooms, and the antiquated window AC units are horrible. The constant starting up and shutting down every 10-15 minutes is circa 1970s HVAC technology. The units are very noisy to a fault. In addition the soundproofing is minimal between rooms. Chatter and traffic noise easily intrude on your quiet. This property is a poor value based upon the rack rate. There are newer and much less expensive options close by. The "breakfast" was a slog fest with too many people trying to load up on so many carbs. There's no meat, no bacon nor sausage. The SOS contained microscopic morsels of something. It was too swamped to use the waffle maker. The scrambled eggs were bland, there was a fruit salad, and apples and bananas. The swimming pool was unheated, so on an 89 degree day the water temps were in the 60s. At these prices the pool should be heated. The ancient elevators wanted you to push up and down arrows at the same time on floor five to activate it. The upper buttons would not be handicapped friendly. Initially the room door key slide had an intermittent problem reading our room keys. We had to get new keys. The bathroom is the typical very cramped 1970s style. The shower curtain did not extend properly, no matter how you adjusted it. The towels, though plentiful were on their last legs, and there was no soap dish.

The location was great.You can find a grocery shop and restaurants nearby and access to the airport by free shuttle for about 5 minutes. The staffs were so friendly and kind.

Very nice and clean rooms. Good price/quality! You need a car to go to the amusement parcs/cape canaveral etc. but renting a car is easy and not that expensive.

The Service was outstanding. I had emailed the manager prior to our arrival letting her know it was my wife's birthday and I would like a bottle of wine and a cheese tray waiting in our room. Debra Thompson and her staff took care of my request and added some roses to top it off. Also on our arrival we were greeted with a sign that read welcome guest of the day with my wife's name on the sign. Over the top excellent. Will always be remembered Glenn k

When it was our turn she offered us many items because it took so long.We were hungry and she discussed the restaurants within walking distance and even gave us a coupon towards our meal. In the morning they had plenty of help with the breakfast rush. We would definitely stay here again.

La grande disponibilité et surtout l'affabilité du personnel , tout particulièrement à la réception de l'hôtel Il est toujours un peu désagréable de constater qu'on ne puisse pas dîner et/ou souper dans un hôtel de ce type, même si il y a proximité d'autres restaurants à cet endroit

Friendly staff Smoke coming into the non smoking room in the middle of the night. Then learned 1/2 of 2nd floor is smoking rooms. Weird large lump in pillow. Will not stay there again. Not normal experience with HI.

It was definitely a step up from the previous night stay at Hampton, Cocoa Beach. Room was ready, all feather products had been replaced as requested. Everything was fine!
