    Coffee in the lobby is a must, that was nice! And the shuttle to downtown, somewhat, was nice too!

    Staff unable to get us a cab, late at night, and my 16 year old and I were stuck WAY far away from the hotel!! No help whatsoever!! We will NOT stay here again..Also, the vending machines were empty and the only refreshments available at the desk were trail mix bars, stale candy bars, and warm soda!! While free, they were not what I expect at a Hampton Inn!! We'll look elsewhere next time we're in Pittsburgh!!

    The room was nicely equipped, quiet and clean. Coffee and tea are available all the time.

    Staff was not very informative about possible city tours.

    The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and rick and Angelo were very sociable and reliable driving the shuttle. Very happy with our stay.

    There was no bar or restaurant on sight

    Front desk staff was friendly.

    Did not have our reservations when arrived so had to take a no-show room. Did not clean the room before 4 PM so when we came back for a break at 4 before going to dinner at 5:30 the room was never cleaned. Cigarette ash and mold in bathroom. Room was small. Only ones that did not receive a paper in the morning.

    Shuttle into business district. On-request back until about 9:45pm. Clean room, welcoming staff. Variety of breakfast options including healthy, filling including fruit salad.

    Location bit far from business district.

    Having to pay for parking. Didn't see that one coming. I've never paid for parking before, and I've stayed at quiet a few Hampton inn's. When I was ready to check out a clerk at the check out counter gave me a receipt with the amount higher than what I paid using Booking.com. When I confronted her she stated " your stay was already paid for " What was that all about? I will tell my friends and business associates to watch out for such SCAM!!!! Also a seeing eye dog kept barking down the hall. Some treats maybe!!!!!

    The hotel is immaculate and the staff is wonderful. The shuttle is such a convenience. We have a terminally ill relative in UPMC and it just made everything so much easier. The included breakfast was excellent, also, made things easier.

    The folks behind the counter were fantastic! Called in to tell them I would need a late check in and the clerk told me that she would be happy to make sure I would have a room. Extremely pleasant. Upon arrival another gentleman greeted me BY NAME when I came in and quickly processed the papers and the credit card. First time someone offered me a handshake at a hotel in the last decade. Loved it! The service couldn't be better and the location was excellent. Will stay here every time I'm visiting Pittsburgh.

    The shuttle was great. Drivers were helpful. The breakfast was excellent and hotel staff were friendly. They went the extra mile to be helpful and welcoming.

    This hotel stands out for its incredible staff. They really go the extra mile to make sure that guests are happy and comfortable, particularly the shuttle drivers and Shauna on the front desk. I've never seen such fantastic customer service and I'd come back for that alone. Nice work Pittsburgh!

    They allow pets so that means barking dogs and that can be heard through the walls. I'd suggest a no pet policy or limiting pets to specific floors so that other guests aren't inconvenienced.

    There was a shuttle from the hotel to downtown. We used it for sightseeing. Great service.

    The room didn't smell as fresh as most Hampton Inns.

    The included breakfast, of course the comfortable beds, and the politeness of the staff when it came to my two young children (2 and 5).

    The premium on parking. It seemed a bit excessive at $20 a day

    My son who attended Univ. of Pitt was injured and needed next day surgery. The staff was very compassionate and helpful to our needs.

    Convenient, friendly, clean. Totally meets our expectations. We experienced an electrical problem in our rm. The staff responded right away and moved us to another rm. We always stay here when visiting Pittsburgh.

    Staff was friendly and helpful, close to Petersen Event Center Shuttle Nice breakfast.

    Very disappointing. Thought it would be luxury for the price. Overpriced Room was small Didn't think room was as clean as could be, no place to get rid of extra garbage, not liners for waste cans. Sheets didn't fit bed or were not put on properly. Didn't have the extra touch you would give to a room if you were having company.

    I loved the free shuttle within a 3-mile radius. It helped me and my coworker avoid navigating city traffic and parking. It was an unexpected, nice surprise.

    The overflow parking area across the street seemed a little less secure than the parking lot right by the hotel.

    The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was very nicely presented, very plentiful and very tasty. But the amenity that was the most helpful was the free shuttle from the hotel to local destinations. The shuttle driver was most accomodating and friendly.
