Room and bed were excellent. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great.
There is a charge to park on the lot, however, the hotel assumes no liability. It would seems to me that if you charge for the privilege to park there, some sort of security/liability should be in effect.
I liked how lose everything was, we were basically in the middle of our interests.

My group was staying here for one night for my cousin's bachelorette party. We has a king suite and the pull out couch was the most comfortable pull out couch I've ever slept on! And we all know pull out couches aren't meant to be very comfy at all. We needed an extra bed, so the sweet lady at the front desk wheeled a huge single bed up to our room, along with 3 extra pillows. The staff was wonderful, room was wonderful, and we even had a stripper come to the room at 9pm and the staff was on our side and didn't complain at all! Overall great experience.
The shuttle service was excellent and some of the front desk staff were extremely helpful.
Our room had a musty smell to it and the carpets and bathroom need some serious updating. The hallways were pretty beat up and there were stains over most all the walls and doorways. We typically stay at a Hilton Property but were very disappointed in the state of this hotel.
The room was very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. I really appreciated having the washable cover on the blanket/comforter. The giveaways (shampoo, soaps, etc.) were especially nice. Good breakfast.

I had cancelled a 2nd room reservation earlier in the week. When we arrived, they couldn't find our reservation because it was re saved by Booking.com under another name. When they did locate it was incorrect. The staff didn't talk with me as they were looking for information. The manager was no help. They didn't offer any solutions or any help to find rooms for a family of 4. I am a Hampton Inn Honors member and I was very disappointed with the staff's treatment.
Coffee in the lobby is a must, that was nice! And the shuttle to downtown, somewhat, was nice too!
Staff unable to get us a cab, late at night, and my 16 year old and I were stuck WAY far away from the hotel!! No help whatsoever!! We will NOT stay here again..Also, the vending machines were empty and the only refreshments available at the desk were trail mix bars, stale candy bars, and warm soda!! While free, they were not what I expect at a Hampton Inn!! We'll look elsewhere next time we're in Pittsburgh!!
The room was nicely equipped, quiet and clean. Coffee and tea are available all the time.
Staff was not very informative about possible city tours.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and rick and Angelo were very sociable and reliable driving the shuttle. Very happy with our stay.

Front desk staff was friendly.
Did not have our reservations when arrived so had to take a no-show room. Did not clean the room before 4 PM so when we came back for a break at 4 before going to dinner at 5:30 the room was never cleaned. Cigarette ash and mold in bathroom. Room was small. Only ones that did not receive a paper in the morning.
Shuttle into business district. On-request back until about 9:45pm. Clean room, welcoming staff. Variety of breakfast options including healthy, filling including fruit salad.

Having to pay for parking. Didn't see that one coming. I've never paid for parking before, and I've stayed at quiet a few Hampton inn's. When I was ready to check out a clerk at the check out counter gave me a receipt with the amount higher than what I paid using Booking.com. When I confronted her she stated " your stay was already paid for " What was that all about? I will tell my friends and business associates to watch out for such SCAM!!!! Also a seeing eye dog kept barking down the hall. Some treats maybe!!!!!
The hotel is immaculate and the staff is wonderful. The shuttle is such a convenience. We have a terminally ill relative in UPMC and it just made everything so much easier. The included breakfast was excellent, also, made things easier.
The folks behind the counter were fantastic! Called in to tell them I would need a late check in and the clerk told me that she would be happy to make sure I would have a room. Extremely pleasant. Upon arrival another gentleman greeted me BY NAME when I came in and quickly processed the papers and the credit card. First time someone offered me a handshake at a hotel in the last decade. Loved it! The service couldn't be better and the location was excellent. Will stay here every time I'm visiting Pittsburgh.

This hotel stands out for its incredible staff. They really go the extra mile to make sure that guests are happy and comfortable, particularly the shuttle drivers and Shauna on the front desk. I've never seen such fantastic customer service and I'd come back for that alone. Nice work Pittsburgh!
They allow pets so that means barking dogs and that can be heard through the walls. I'd suggest a no pet policy or limiting pets to specific floors so that other guests aren't inconvenienced.

There was a shuttle from the hotel to downtown. We used it for sightseeing. Great service.
