Nice room, as advertised. Breakfast was good. Other good restaurants handy
It was ridiculous to pay $10 for parking in their parking lot. With the open lobby, the noise carried to our second floor room. We could hear the people above us during the night.
This place is in a bad location, it was under construction, I had to have my guard up whenever we walked top the car or from the car to the room.
The staff was great from checking in, to eating breakfast, and the house keeping, everyone was awesome.
Gym, unlimited coffee or tea, breakfast in the morning helped, also the fresh baked cookies.
There was alot of construction, and I don't know if it was remodeling or a new hotel, but either way it looked pretty good. The pool could have been bigger.
The area seemed a little shady when we arrived due to the strip club and lower end hotels right next to it.
Great location, easy to get to the beach and Zoo. Hotel was nice, clean and staff were friendly. Initially we were a little worried about the area but after a little bit we realized it. Was fine.
Location not good and staff not very helpful around what one could do without a car. Especially a problem as we were overseas travellers that had come in on the Amtrak train hoping to see San Diego in a day/night.
pillows too soft:)
staff was exceptional.
Very disappointed that they charged for parking. It was not enclosed or secured. The location was not the most desirable.
Hotel was beautiful; close to Old Town San Diego.
room was dowdy, depressing ,old carpet needed replacing amenities were scarce
The neighborhood wasn't too safe, and also when I asked front desk for 30 minute late check out they declined me even though they weren't sold out that day. :(
Fresh baked cookies
location, close to downtown.
Car parking fee
Heat and air unit was very loud so we turned the system off at night. Carpet should be cleaned.
Location was good. Staff was very, very helpful in assisting us with cabs, directions, etc. They should be complemented for that!
Homeless people wandering around, bed are older than my grandparents nothing but steal springs
Nothing, stayed only one night and left to find a better hotel
The wifi does work well
The only thing it very hard to get to if you dont know your way a round. It also near a couple of nudity bars so if you have children you might want to choose a other Hampton inn in area
We loved everything. Friendly staff very knowledgeable we were looking for a Catholic Church near area And they were able to tell us were it was.
Paying 10 bucks a night for parking was rediculous.Bed was lumpy carpets were awful.Carpets in the hall were trip hazards . By far the worst Hampton we've been in .
Location is kind of awkward, Wifi is slow, room is old.
The hall was remodeled, looks modern and neat, but the room itself is kind of old. But bedding are okay. Services are very good like other Hilton resort.
Under construction but understandable as it is needed.
staff did well
9Am in the morning construction workers started drilling holes, hitting hammers & wood saws going off right next to my room. Ridiculous! We requested late check out for the same reason that we needed to sleep in & early in the morning we get a surprise wake up by extremely loud construction noise. Really dissapointed in the customer service. We where never given a warning & for reception to give us a room right next to a construction site was extremely unprofessional. After our complaint, reception seemed to be real calm about the situation as if he didn't really care. "it's not his problem, it's our problem". I've never had a bad experience like this at any hotel & I travel frequently for a living. Definetly the worst experience I've ever had in a hotel.
I realize economics work off supply and demand but a $300.00 premium for a $100 room. Im glad you got me once you will never get me again!
