I really liked that this hotel had free airport shuttle service, and a breakfast that was more than continental.
I was hoping for the Embassy Suites with their manager's reception.
Everything, specially complementary breakfast and early check in! Excellent Excellent !!! *****
The hotel was very was 2 miles from the Civic Theater. Breakfast was excellent with waffles, eggs, and sausage. The bed was perfect and although they were packed there was noise but the train passing by periodically
Insufficient parking for all guest. I had to park three blocks away and walk back in the middle of the night to the hotel. No shuttle was available for this. They did not charge me for parking, but I needed to double check on the charge because although they said they were taking it off they did not until I checked on the third request.
- great location, Little Italy is behind the corner with lot of great Italian restaurants, and we find very nice bar around the corner - parking was only $12 per night - friendly staff who explain us the key point of interest and show it on the map - big room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, solid breakfast
Nice accomodation, friendly service, nice pool area
Window could not be opened, trainstation very close
very friendly and helpful staff free coffee and water every time good wifi conection
bathroom furnishing was non-functional or partly broken (bathroom flood after taking a shower, instable towel rail, drippy sink)
The staff in the front office were very helpful and friendly.
The location is best, because there is a trolley's stop just behind the hotel. The staffs are kind and the breakfast buffet is plenty.
Regardless of the cost, facilities are not satisfied; no bathtub, no loundry service, and WiFi required fees (5USD/day). Although I didn't care, trains and train clossing sounded nearby until midnight.
Location to restaurants and downtown San Diego!! Cleanliness Great breakfasts
Think this property should be completely nonsmoking! We ended up changing rooms because the smell of cigarette smoke was so bad in the hallway.
Perfect location and an easy walk to so many local dining spots and easy walk to the beautiful ocean front with the tall ships and midway museum. Great breakfast spread, and everything is clean. Even though the train goes right behind the hotel and you can hear it, I like trains and don't wake up.
I need to have sunshine coming into my room but must keep curtains closed to get dressed because windows open up either into courtyard, pool area, or other windows where you can see them and they can see you. thank goodness I didn't need to spend the days there.
Location Cleanliness Great breakfast Great staff
Fantastic location, closeness to transport facilities. Nice breakfast with good choice, free tea & coffee all day, swimming pool with lovely view
Cant think of anything
Location to waterfront Great complimentary breakfast Good fitness room Nice pool Comfy bed Friendly staff Car parking on premises (charged)
Noisy rail line behind hotel Level crossing bells heard till late evening and again early morning
The location just across from the water front, nice breakfast, comfortable rooms. We would definately staff here again
A small point used gym and only one machine was working.
Tea/coffee in lobby 24/7 Clean room Comfy bed Great complimentary breakfast Close to waterfront Fast internet Car park in hotel (fee charged)
Train noise behind hotel 5am on till late
Car parking is limited and breakfast is lacking
Good location. Breakfast was good.
Parking was tight. Very warm in hallways. Felt like there was no air conditioning on.
The shuttle bus to the zoo Breakfast was enough
Our room was at the back, next to tram/train stop, which arrived every 20mins, 6am-12 midnight on our first night, complained but said the hotel was busy a room change could be possible the next day...stayed in the room we were in...the next night (Saturday) a tram woke us up at 2am and 4am! We did ask for a quiet room before we arrived! 3 rooms near us was a loud group who got in at 3am and was loud till 4am.
Close to Maritime Museum
Broken elevator that also served as a sauna....... HOT!!! So hot that the Fire Department showed up........
airport shuttle drivers comfortable room and bed location
Laurie was great. You can see that she takes working there to heart. I know from talking to her that she is trying to get the rest of the staff up to her level.
The first night we had a loud noise from the air conditioning in the building, but the next night Laurie fixed us up with a different room. Problem solved.
Nice breakfast. Good location, close to Little Italy, easy walking distance. Nice park across street.
Refrigerator and microwave in room need updating.
Everything was good
Parking. If you try to come in late after an evening out in San Diego it could be a pain trying get a spot in the underground parking that you have to pay for.
they ran out of parking for their guests on Friday and Saturday night. Had to park on street.
Great location and staff.
I didn't feel it was good price for what we received. It could have been a lot cheaper a night compared to another property we stayed at while in San Diego.
