It is an older hotel but clean and quiet

the overside tub in the room was relaxing but I had to run the tub for 20 minutes to get all ,what I believe to be flower pedals, cleaned out of the system from the previous occupant.

The ambience was great.

Can't remember.

Liked the hotel overall.

The approach to the hotel is difficult for out of towners who are not familiar with the road layout.

Shuttle service to the three places we needed to go. Nice and quiet. Clean rooms and good service. Coke machine was a good price but the dollar bill changer did not work.

Hallway on our floor (7th) had the lingering odor of longtime cigarette smoke. Breakfast selection could have been better. The hot portion of the breakfast was often bland.

Was not to happy with the pillows on the beds. Just not used to such small and super soft ones.

The confusion trying to locate the road the hotel is on. Found it difficult to get through the traffic.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn. The location was perfect for the activites that we planned to participate in.

I would love to have had some gravey and biscuits,by the way i really love your decafe coffee

It was very adequate for my needs on this trip.

Aside from breakfast, there is no food served at the hotel, a small coffee shop with some food in the evening would be nice, although there are possibilities for having food delivered from nearby restaurants.

Staff was not willing to accommodate us without charging , we asked for rollaway bed because regular beds terrible, wanted to charge 15.00 per night despite comfort guarantee

A good and clean hotel. We stayed when the hotel was at least half empty so we had no problems with anything. Rooms were always clean, courtesy shuttle was always a few minutes away and so on. Overall a good place to stay while visiting Washington DC and getting a glimpse of old town Alexandria.

You can't get anywhere on foot from the hotel itself. Don't even count on it. If you want to go anywhere or eat anything you have to use the shuttle or have a car. Also, I suspect that at a busier time of year the breakfast area wouldn't be able to contain enough guests and the shuttle wait would be a long one.

We would have loved to stay longer but were told by evening staff that one night during our intended stay was full. The day receptionist (really helpful) said she could have fitted us in but it was too late as we had already booked another hotel. We are very disappointed as it is not nearly as good as Hampton.

Only the way in which the evening receptionist failed to fit us in for a longer stay!

Well lighted parking lots. Friendly staff. Good breakfast with variety.

My reservation for an additonal day was not conveyed to the Motel. It became an issue in which the experienced desk clerk had to consult with the manger to resolve the rate etc..

This particular Hampton Inn had a nice modern vibe and we appreciated the flat screen TVs in the lobby so we could keep up with the Summer Olympics coverage. What we most appreciated was the free shuttle service to the nearby Huntington Street metro station and nearby Old Town Alexandria. The drivers were always prompt, friendly and courteous to us!

This particular Hampton sits on a busy highway. The only time it really was a distraction was in the morning if we didn't have the AC turned on.

The web site says that the hotel is .2 miles away. It was not and we needed to take a shuttle back and forth.

The facilities were gorgeous. They met the request I made at booking for a room at the top in the back and the view of the golf course was an unexpected plus. The breakfast was the very best we have ever experienced at any hotel that offered included breakfast and my husband who has many food allergies even found lots to eat. We only wish we had more time to stay there as the beds were extremely comfortable. I felt relaxed, and found the staff very pleasant, very friendly, and they seemed truly interested in you as a customer.

The location was great for entering D.C. and getting transportation to the Metro was easy provided by the hotel.

The toilet lever might tear off a child's finger as it was very dangerous and sprung back hard and quick when pushed.

Extremely friendly and helpful. They offer free shuttle service to and from airport and metro. Extremely satisfied, would definitely stay there again.

The proximity to Washington DC really made the difference to us. This hotel was in our budget. It was worth driving from DC to stay there.The service and friendliness of the staff was tops.

Nothing to dislike except that the van would not take us to a nearby restaurant. I think the MOD wasn't sure about the location of the restaurant

The convenience and accommodations were great. The staff was friendly. Overall stay was well worth the money.

Very impressed with staff and the shuttle to the metro and Old Town Alexandria. The shuttle drivers were very curteous and informative. We will certainly stay again when visiting Washington, DC. Even the crew that were updating the lobby and dining area were wonderful and informative. All in all the experience was excellent.

Abgewohnt, entspricht unseres Erachtens nicht dem Hampton-Standard. Lage ziemlich isoliert.

Het hotel ligt aan de Richmond Highway die leidt naar Washington en naar de gezellige oudere stad Alexandria gelegen aan de Potomac River. Mijn vrouw heeft daar heerlijk gewinkeld en ik heb er een boottocht gemaakt. Verder vanuit Alexandria een metroverbinding naar Washington, erg handig want in Washington is niet te parkeren vlakbij de Mall. Dus hotel is gunstig gelegen tov Washington en wat prijs betreft heel redelijk voor die omgeving.

De administratieve afhandeling van de rekening verliep wat moeizaam want er kon in eerste instantie geen afrekening geprint worden (omdat het via Booking.com was aangemeld) (???). Later alsnog gelukt.

Amistoso. Personal diligente. Cercano a una estación de Metro. Transporte a este sitio (Metro),para facilitar su uso y el acceso al área del Centro de Washington, como al aeropuerto. En fin, muy cómodo.
