Small but useful gym, clean rooms, close to airport.
Non-existent staff, a LOT of plane noise, hot tub and pool were green and unusable.

Stingy management! This hotel does not have a designated airport shuttle driver even though obviously the majority of guests book this hotel for it's proximity to IAH and the shuttle service. Instead, one of the two people at the check-in desk doubles as a driver. The shuttle is a fairly small van, the Hampton Inn marking is not easily visible at night, and service can "sell out"! You have to get your name on a list for, say, the 6:30am shuttle to the airport, but that list may be full. The driver has to compensate for the irregular airport pick-up times (you have to call them so they can pick you up from the airport) and the nondescript van by carrying a list of the expectant guests' cell phone numbers.
Free shuttle did not arrive so I had to pay another bus to get me to the hotel. No apology for that. WiFi didn't work throughout my stay. I was fobbed off with excuses about someone working on the problem for over 4 hours. Obviously not true. The place is dirty with stained carpets etc. This hotel is not up to the standards of normal Hampton Inns. It is, to be honest, a dsigrace.
Noise from the low flying planes. It was expected due to the hotel location.
Close to IAH, cleanliness, the shuttle service and the kindness of both of their drivers, breakfast although is pretty much self service is awesome, the bathtub, the TV is huge and the room is very cozy and good sized.
They have charged me an additional 20 USD without advising neither in Booking nor upon my arrival, they told me is for a kind of "insurance coverage" and promised to refund within 3-5 business days (I hope so). When I asked to the lady in reception (the next morning) then she had to walk me through it but didn't look very happy to do so. Carpets are old and you better have a heavy sleep, otherwise the rooms are not sound proof and you'll hear a lot of airport action.

Too far away from restaurants. Constant bugging in my email for a rating. I stayed there and paid for the service. Quit bugging your customers. As long as they keep coming you must be doing okay.

Close to airport, shuttle to and from hotel, super breakfast before we left, room was very comfortable, even though near airport did not hear any noise, love the hot tub, also found a great restaurant right down the street
I was overcharged - big discrepancy in amount charged vs. the rates when I booked the hotel. Front desk staff initially did not want to correct mistake. Later promised that the general manager would fix the issue when she came in to work. It was not corrected. I was billed the overcharged rate.

Good location Shuttle to airport
When we arrived there had been some administration error and there was no knowledge of our booking through booking.com. We showed the receptionist out booking.com reservation and his response was showing us his sheet of bookings for the night. He refused to acknowledge our booking. As it was 1am we asked in general of he had a room which he did but unfortunately he refused to honour the rate we had paid online and therefore charged us walk in rate which was more expensive. We didn't have much alternative but paid it and stayed. Unsure if the error was with booking.com or the hotels admin. If they had been full it would have caused more issues. Could you research into this to let is know what went wrong as we have always been avid users of booking.com and wouldn't want it to make us think twice about using it again. A refund of the difference we paid would be very welcome.

Everything except the shuttle service
Free shuttle was "sold out" and I had to pay $20 to take a 2 mile ride to the airport --- this will keep me from ever staying at the hotel again!
I loved this place. The rooms were clean with fabulous beds. The free breakfast was great and had so many choices. I would definitely stay here again. The location was ideal too and only a 5 minute shuttle ride to the airport .
Excellent staff - very helpful and friendly! The hotel was very clean and the staff left a sticky note on the bed letting us know all linens (including duvet covers) had been changed/cleaned/sterilized. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.
Online reservation requested joining rooms. They didn't have any available and we were not notified prior to our arrival. The staff however were very apologetic and did everything they could to accommodate our family.
The room was supposed to be $130.90 + 17% tax = $153.15. They charged my credit card $ 178.02. On checkout, they said they would fix it but they have not. Please help me !
