The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.
The outside of building was under renovation, the work should have not started till 9am.
Everything was great. Will stay again.
Breakfast bar was excellent and staff are very helpful. Location is great, short walk from Natl Harbor hotel and conference center.
Substantial repairs from earthquake are still going on! Scaffolding is semi-permanent and interferes with entrance and exit. Exiting the Multi-level parking lot was a nightmare. Required 3 trips back to the desk and manager had to call the lot mgr just to let me out.
Remodeling outside facility during my stay
the room's hvac.... I had the temp set at 68. It came on and off all night. I found myself throwing off the covers and then having to pull them back up. The cold air seemed to be blowing right on me. didn't sleep well as a result.
The hotel was beautiful. Enjoyed the size of the room and decor
The hotel staff were very courteous and friendly. They were eager to assist, and we felt like we had a personal concierge service. Aside from construction on the outside, the inside didn't reflect it. I would definitely stay here again.
Upon arrival, I wasn't able to identify the property because of construction. There was a sign in the lobby explaining their appearance, but I passed the location a few times before calling to inquire.
The staff was wonderful! Super kind, smiling, professional. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms spacious. Location is great. The National Harbour Area is better than the city of DC.
Breakfast. Oh I wish american hotels would do simple nice breakfast instead of the pancake machine and plastic plates. It lets down the otherwise amazing hotel.
The bed was wonderful. Breakfast bar was pretty good. Conference center across the street. Food within walking distance. Area felt secure. Staff very friendly after I proved I really had a reservation for 6 nights.
Could see the conference center from freeway, had awful time getting there. They didn't have record of our reservation, so was up 'til 3:00 AM trying to find a U.S. phone number for Booking.com. Whole stay noisy during day due to construction. Breakfast tables dirty.
prxomity to convention center; breakfast, gym was ok;
pool hours; cost
My stay was unbelievably unpleasant. This hotel should not be entertaining guests during construction! The noise was incredibly loud and began way too early in the day. Could not take calls, listen to music or watch TV- that loud. Absoultely absurd. When I finally asked to move (which was very inconvenient) the noise was not as bad but still audible. Terrible, terrible experience. Oh, and the maid came in twice while I had my DND sign on my door...which should never happen.
The bed was really comfortable. I slept well.
The bathroom needs an upgrade
All the staff at the front desk were very, very helpful with any problem I had. It is the best service I have ever had.
Lack of a free shuttle to at least the nearest Metro Station
Parking located in another building and cost 13$
It was very nice hotel I would come again and recommend other guest to come stay at the Hampton Inn. The breakfast was good I wasn't expecting the good breakfast that the Hampton give there guess. I thanks the Hampton for there great service.
The staff at the Hamptons was outstanding. We were greeted with smiles and everyone down to the cleaning staff asked how our stay was. I appreciate it when a simple hello or good morning is given. That doesn't take much at all but it's a sign that the staff is attentive to the needs of there guests.
Hotel renovations one elevator. This was my one complaint. It took way to long to get the elevator and when it came it was almost always packed. Didn't dampen an otherwise great experience.
Great location at the National Harbor easy commute to 295 into Downtown D.C. This Hampton Inn property 's Staff exceeded my expectations. Melia ( Hotel Mgr.) is the epitome of someone whose goal is to provide excellent Customer Service. Room 1101 has a view of the Potomac and fireworks from the Gaylord. I will definitely stay at this property again.
Parking is behind the hotel and when events are held at the National Harbor, you may have to wait in long lines to obtain your car.
Great staff, breakfast, and property.
Practically everything, especially the staff!
Can't thing of anything.
We were treated like royalty. The room was incredible, staff very accommodating - they were always checking to see what they could do better! Wish we could have stayed longer!
Bed comfortable Two sinks Location Good breakfast
Lounge chair for TV No itemized bill No valet service
Location, size of the room
The pool was not really heated. Also, we were locked out of the room while we were at breakfast because of payment issue. Meanwhile all of our wallets and credit cards were locked in the room, all with just an hour before checkout. I just wish that this would have been presented to my wife and I earlier in the weekend. Other than this, it was a really relaxing get away weekend.
Location and size of room.
Breakfast was decent the first day, lousy the second.
We had a wonderful experience at the Hampton Inn at National Harbor. We had decided to stay there instead of the hotel across the street where our conference was held. Two things helped in making that decision, better pricing and free breakfast. We were pleased not only with our accommodations but also the excellent staff. They were both pleasant and helpful. When we had problems with the air conditioner in our room they not only worked hard to take care of the problem but also comped one nights stay. Very impressive! I have never considered myself "loyal" to one hotel but our experience may have changed my mind. Very pleased with the Hampton Inn and their staff.
Although not the fault of the hotel, we could not believe there was not anywhere to park that was not metered or a paid parking garage.
