Close to airport, big room , shuttle to airport

Staff in bad humor Windows do not open and there was no warning about it on website, for claustrophobic people like me is impossible! Lobby in maintenance, dirty and ugly, also no warning about it! Room was opened when we arrived, things from previous guest there, radio of staff as well. Under the pull over sofa I slept was dirty with papers and tags from previous guest...

Close to the metro and to shoppingcenter Crystal city. Clean and spacious room.

The hotel was close to the train station. The room was clean.

The breakfast room was being renovated so breakfast was served in a very small room. It was hard to get a table. The breakfast food was comprehensive but bad quality.

Nice place, with pool and good breakfast. Our family was really happy. The Metro (subway) was closer than I expected and easy to walk to. Just remember to go out the back door, up the street in back and under the overpass. You can't get to the metro by walking up the six lane road in front of the hotel. There is also an underground mall down in the subway entrance to the left, and to the right, a tunnel to a second indoor shopping area of about the same size.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, for the most part I enjoyed my stay.

It was my first time staying at the Hampton Inn and I had called a week ahead of time to confirm a few things. I talked about the shuttle service with the customer service agent. The customer service representative did not mention that I had to call the service desk to arrange for the hotel shuttle to pick me up from the airport. I was under the impression that the shuttle came every 10 minutes. I waited for 40 minutes! I also was interrupted at 9 am by housekeeping and she told me it was time to check out. I was very confused as I had just woken up and I told her I thought check out was at noon. She said, yes it is time to check out. It was just another very confusing situation at the Hampton Inn, and I felt like housekeeping was pressuring me to check out early even though I wasn't ready to.

Very comfortable beds

Some of staff not knowledgeable about key visitor places--I was sent to wrong place to see Capital building--went far on Metro and had to go back-- wasted an hour !!staff in general were not knowing routes to main sites that we expected especially as most people would be touring washington; some staff inpatient ; received someone elses bill at checkout time ;poor staff !!very disappointing!!

Brandy at the front desk was exceptional. She is very caring and understanding. The whole staff was excellent!!!!!! The train station is very close and there are many wonderful resturants.

Wish there was a hot tub, the pool is too cold even though it is heated.

Clean room, professionally run, with several luxury add-ons (fitness room, pool, laundry room or service). Great location just a couple minutes from the metro.

The AC in my particular room was very loud, so I had to turn it off to sleep. Some plates and cutlery (even plastic) would have been useful considering the microwave in the room.

The fresh fruit at breakfast was great!

Location to Arlington National Cemetary. Continental breakfast. Wish it had regular restaurant in it. Cleanliness good.

Wished it had restaurant or coffee shop with sandwiches, raining while their.

We found the staff to be exceptionally friendly, helpful, and competent. The room was a good size and well laid out. The location is only a couple of blocks from the metro, and just 3 stops to the L'enfant station. They were very prompt with their airport courtesy shuttle making a stay without a car very convienent. We would certainly stay here again.

Aufzüge haben nicht funktioniert, Baustelle im Hotel, Konferenzraum wurde notdürftig zum Frühstücksraum umgebaut - Zeltlager Atmosphäre, Hotel bedient sich an Kreditkarte mit 3facher Belastung, Keine Abrechnung

ligt dicht bij de metro, daardoor snel in centrum Washington. Hadden een fraaie kamer op de hoek van de bovenste verdieping.

Jammer dat lobby en ontbijtruimte werden verbouwd. Was wel een rommeltje.
