“ Hampton Inn in Wilmington was absolutely beautiful! I loved how it was designed and furnished. When it comes to cleanliness, which I am very picky about, this Hampton Inn gets an a+++. The complimentary breakfast was also plentiful and delicious. ”

Hampton Inn in Wilmington was absolutely beautiful! I loved how it was designed and furnished. When it comes to cleanliness, which I am very picky about, this Hampton Inn gets an a+++. The complimentary breakfast was also plentiful and delicious. Unfortunately, we had a room with a very noisy heater. When I turned the numbers down to stop the heat from coming on, the air conditioner kicked on, which was even noiser. I tried many settings. We were so exhausted because our plane had arrived late due to snow and de-icing, and it was a long slippery drive from Dayton to Wilmington. Sam called the desk, and the person on duty offered us a different room, but we were too tired to pack and move. Sam asked if they had ear plugs, and they did, which helped him get to sleep, but not me. I continued to try different settings on the controller and finally found that at 68 degrees, neither the heat or air conditioning came on. You might want to pass that on incase other people have a hard time sleeping if their unit rattles badly.
