Best Western Bowery Hanbee Hotel

Huone oli tilava ja vuode erinomainen, vuode- ja liinavaatteet olivat ehjiä ja puhtaita. Lasku- ja säilytystilaa tavaroille riittävästi. Hotellin henkilökunta avuliasta ja ystävällistä. Ilmainen nettiyhteys loistava lisäpalvelu. Grand Street -metroaseman läheisyys loistava asia. Kiitos!

Huoneessa ei ollut lämmitys päällä tullessa ja huone oli kostea ja kylmä. Suihkun viereiselle ikkunalaudalle jäi vesi seisomaan. Alueella ei ollut lähistöllä mukavia kahviloita, hotellin aamiainen oli surkea, jolloin olisi voinut mennä johokin aamiaiselle. Aamiaispöydässä oli milloin mikäkin loppu, kananmunat, tuoremehu, kahvi, appelsiinimarmeladi yms.

Avulias henkilökunta. Hotellin sijainti eläväisessä Chinatownissa, metroyhteyksien lähellä.Hotelli oli siisti ja aamupala tarjoilu hotellissa mukavaa, nin ei tarvinnut tyhjän vatsan kanssa lähteä kaupungille.

Aamupala tarjonta olisi saannut olla vaihtelevampi.

Erittäin kylmä huone. Lämmitys ei toiminut. Ikävä ja epäkäytännöllinen sijainti. Ravintola puuttui.

Clean, affordable hotel. Comfortable to stay, free Internet, non-smoking, spacious rooms and beds (even though queen-size, which was a new concept for us)

Air quality in the room was poor, but you could overcome that by opening the window (although it made it a bit noisy). Internet connection was broken during one days (and worked fine 6 others).

I felt we were nickeled and dimed at the end. The hotel charges $5 to store each bag if you stay after check out time. They charge half a day rate if you want to extend checkout time. Parking is $38 a night and only goes for the 24 hours. If you want to stay extra it is $24 for one hour and $28 for two hours.

The hotel is excellently situated for downtown New York - it's in Chinatown, near to the Lower East Side and within walking distance of Greenwich Village. The staff were very helpful and the free wi-fi was useful.

The room price included breakfast, but this was a bit sad. I would have hoped for something better than throwaway plastic plates and long-life bread. However, the hotel's location made up for it.
