Warm and attentive staff made this a great place to stay! We loved the delicious breakfast each morning that was made fresh daily on the premises. Steve and John made sure our trip was as wonderful as we had hoped. Looking forward to a return stay! Highly recommend!
Convenient to Martha's Vineyard bus routes
Breakfast service was a bit awkward but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The first night the attendant gave us a suggested "visit the vineyard" itinerary for our two days and following his suggestions we saw most of the island in two days. Great advice!
It was within walking distance from the Ferry. Continental breakfast was excellent. Nice big towels.
The bathroom was exceptionally small and room needed additional cleaning. We weren't given any complimentary robes for which we signed a contract promising not to steal.
Rooms of friends shared a deck that is large for the friends together.
Good friendly and helpful owner
No coffee making faculty in room
Quick walk to the center of town. Friendly and helpful staff.
Hanover house is a very quiet and accommodating Inn. It's about a 5 min walk from downtown Vineyard Haven. The bus during the summer stops right nearby if you want to head over to Edgartown or Oaks Bluff. Bed was very comfortable and the rooms A/C was quiet and worked well. The bathroom was also a good size. I've stayed places where it's a shared bathroom and this was much better. Inn keeper also made a great beach suggestion which was definitely worth the visit (Aquinnah).
The breakfast was slightly underwhelming. Would have been nice to have something hot like eggs or French toast.
Close to bus routes.Owners vey friendly and helpful
Busy road to cross to get to town
Location was great
WiFi was spotty sometimes

The staff was very responsive to our request . The location was excellent for the event we attended, dinner and shopping.
We enjoyed everything .
Clean, & nicely decorated rooms Nice small size Helpful & friendly staff Great location to everything on island
We liked our roomy little cottage space which could have slept our 3 children too, when they were young, at least. Parking was great, and the short walk to town a nice break from the car. Very lovely place at a good price.
Our room was very comfortable, and a nice continental style breakfast is included. The Inn is quiet, and right on several bus lines so you can hop on and off with ease. I would definitely stay there again.
Great value for Martha's Vineyard in the summer. Room was clean, quaint and comfortable. Home itself was Vineyard charming as was the sister property next door. Steve was very helpful and informative. Beach chairs, beach towels and bikes were available to borrow. Great little touches like the fresh baked cookies were nice. I would definetly stay again and recommend it.
Parking was a bit tight at certain times and the location was near a very busy intersection but all in all not much of a deterrent.
The rooms were VERY clean and the Inn was quiet although there were several people staying there we were never intruded upon with any noise and the car traffic was buffeted by the large trees in the front. Behind the trees you felt you were in your own little world! VERY friendly staff! Definitely we will stay again AND we would highly recommend to anyone to stay there! We had one in our party who was gluten/corn/dairy free and the staff was more than accommodating! WONDERFUL SPOT!
All the people who worked there Big tall bed Lemonade and cookies The air conditioner
The bath products were great, and everyone was very helpful
The location was good.
They did not make it clear in regards to the continental breakfast and a sit down breakfast you could order.
The manager was extremely helpful, from transit information to restaurant suggestions. This was invaluable in a very busy weekend.
Very friendly staff which is mostly international. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean. Location is very convenient, close to the ferry at Vineyard Haven. Vineyard Haven location is definitely more peaceful than staying in Oak Bluffs.
noisy window unit.
A great place to stay, just a short walk from the harbor. Incredibly friendly staff and an amazing breakfast! Totally recommendable!
A great choice and clean place to stay. Close walk to downtown Tisbury (Vineyard Haven). Breakfast was excellent and the inn keepers very friendly.
