Happy Days Hotel  

I loved the theme of the hotel. It was fun to see all the memorabilia of the 50's and 60's. Very clean. I will definitely be back!

The '50s theme was fun. Hotel was clean and comfortable. NIce bathroom. Comfortable bed. Liked the outdoor patio near the pool. Quite a good value for the price. Appreciated the info from the desk clerk about Angel's Diner next door - excellent restaurant. Liked the sink/refrigerator in the queen suite. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Complimentary breakfast was adequate, nothing special. Location of the TV in our room (queen suite) was somewhat unusual, but workable.

Unique 50's theme, fun.

The 50s theme was fine. We grew up in that era so found it fun to remember some things from that age. The room, though a bit small was clean.

We could have done without the political slant of the owners posted all over the place. I found the paintings by Jon McNaughton to be particularly offensive. We wouldn't have booked here if we'd known this would be part of the scene. Don't expect us back.

Comfortable, clean. Liked the leisure area in the lobby. Adequate facilities for the money. A bit small and cramped but fine for overnight. continental bkfst was adequate, but lacked fruit.

When I booked online it asked me if I wanted a smoking room , I said yes ... It was a smoke free property!!! I was angry and disappointed that it was smoke free... I guess smokers are second rate customers and don't receive the same treatment !!! That borders on discrimination... If 35% of the adult population smokes then 35% of the rooms should allow smoking ...

Staff were so friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. I loved the themes and the 50s decor. Was a lot of fun and I would definitely stay there again.

You can hear the highway so if you're a light sleeper it might bother you. Bring your own shampoo/conditioner, the one supplied was horrible!

The whole "experience package" was a real treat. It was a bit of fun, we went 10 pin bowling out the back, first time in years. We ate at Angel's Diner & had a really good steak, great staff there, a good evening.

The room initially smelled a little musty, but we "got over it".

I loved the whole experience!!! Friendly staff and owners. This was a first stay for me. It will not be the last!!! Decor was fun. Next time will request a "James Dean" room. If I had not been on a "mission" would have stayed an extra day to enjoy the "Great Balls of Fire" fun complex. Did enjoy the food, especially the desserts at Angel's Diner. Yum!!! A.P. the staff and accomodations were top notch. we made our reservations there for next year. we went to attend the fall foliage festival & car show.

there was nothing we did not like or that disappointed us.

when I arrived at the hotel, they did not have my reseveration on the books, but the had a cancellation and I was able to stay. What happened on your end? they said that you guys dropped the ball.

Clean and friendly with food in walking distance.

We had a wonderful time. Spent a couple of hours bowling at Great Balls of Fire. Great family bonding weekend.

The one and only front desk person on a saturday afternoon and evening. She was overwhelmed and it altered her disposition.

It was fun, cute and quirky. Rate was great and beds were comfy. Traveling with my mom and we both felt very safe.

Each staff member we encountered was friendly and knowledgeable. We arrived 2 hours early and they let us have our room. That was a real bonus. After a day of "antique" or resell shopping, we relaxed in the pool for a couple of hours before calling it a night. The pool area was VERY clean.

A little shabby looking. Really old bathrooms, towels in sad shape.

Very clean, although our room smelt alittle musty but bearable. Very easy to find, and all the staff we encountered were very very nice. Checked out the new bowling alley and Angels resturant both very nice. Would stay with Happy Days again when in Mcalester, Ok. If you are in your fifities now 2012, you would enjoy this Hotel.

We liked the cleanliness of the room, the friendliness of the staff and the great value.

We stayed 2 different nights...one on our way to Texas and then on the return trip to Kansas. The only problem was a 4:30am phone call the first night (6-13) and a 5:30am phone call on the next night (6-18). The desk clerk told us the motel was having issues with calls and were looking into it.

Everything about the hotel was spotless. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay there. The themed lobby and rooms were very nice. We would stay there again.

The staff was very nice, and the breakfast was good!

the hotel was good, Angels Diner was horrible. My wife and I got the rib eye which was overcooked from what ordered. No refills on coffee or water, had to get up and go get our own ketchup and the bill was over $40? She said if wanted side salad would be extra?
