The staff were helpful and the location was good if you like that end of town. I probably didn't pick appropriately as I didn't like the financial end of town. The room was ready early and I was given a late check-out which was nice.
The room was exceedingly small. I walked in and then had to immediately lay down! There was no coffee or tea facilities in the room! Unbelievable! The air con was really loud and kept me up during the night. If you had a room with a bay view I'm assuming it would be nice. I didn't. Small, cramped and ugly view.
Customer service and Location -right across the Ferry Building with the best restaurants in the city right next door.
Water view of the Oakland Bay Bridge
Ticky tack add-ons - pay for internet or join the marketing program; $6.50 for a bottle of water.
Embarcadero location is prime for eating/drinking, just a few steps to Ferry Building and food Nirvana. Staff is welcoming and helpful without being pretentious or overly attentive. It might be my "go-to" for date night with wifey, have been here 3x this year just to spend the night in city for dinner and adult fun.
Rooms are not huge, no big deal.
Rooms are small.
Happy Hour daily with wine and beer from 5:00pm - 6:00pm was a nice touch. Very convenient to the Trollie and buses.
Took the Room upgrade at an additional charge because we did not like the original room. The bathroom did not have a tub and seemed as though water from shower would be a problem going everywhere.
Location View across the bay Free happy hour Staff attitude and service Comfortable lounge
No dining room, light breakfast only available in room. No tea/coffee facilities in room but free coffee in lounge area so you had to go down and collect, not ideal first thing In the morning. Otherwise order room service.
Proximity to water and downtown core. Everything was within a reasonable walking distance. Great restaurant next door with beautiful view of the Oak Bay bridge. The old school charm of the hotel with modern touches. They were also accommodating in allowing us to leave our luggage with them after checkout, to allow for more unencumbered sightseeing, as our flight was in the evening
Would have been nice if the hotel offered shuttle service to the airport at a lower price than $15/person.
I loved that the staff really helped make my wedding day and honeymoon very special!!
The location, helpfulness of the staff, value for money, wifi included etc, were all amazing!
No breakfast included with the price of the room
location, staff friendly, very helpful
room was small
Location - 5 min to the Ferry Building and Embarcadero BART. Very friendly stuff. Free and reliable wifi. Free bycicles.
Tiny rooms, ideal for 1, a bit squishy for 2. The sliding bathroom door doesn't completely close the space - some view and all sounds come through. NEVER make phone calls from the room - they charge $9-$18 per call! Try to avoid using valet parking - it's $60 per 24h!
Rooms are old with some clear maintenance problems
Expensive valet Small Room
The staff was nice. The lobby was nice with a happy hour.
This site advertised that the hotel had a pool (main reason for choosing this hotel) and other amenities, which it doesn't; the ymca has the amenities at an extra charge. The room was claustrophobic for two people, and the window looked out onto a brick wall, which made the feeling worse. The bathroom was small with a dated shower and no bath. Wi-Fi was an extra charge. Parking was expensive. The location is in a lonely part of town after dark, so get a cab if walking late at night. This did not feel worthy of 4 stars or the money we spent on it.
Not much xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx- xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Paying $61 per day to park our rental car AArrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr- rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg- gggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh- hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
The manager was very gracious and willing to change our room for one with a slightly better view. The lobby always had something cold to drink and the staff was welcoming upon our return from the day. Good location for AT&T Park, the Ferry Building and the Wharf.
The rooms were cramped which made my husband uncomfortable. The majority of the rooms looked onto air conditioning units and brick walls. The sound from the HVAC made it difficult to sleep. I would not stay there again with my husband but would if I were solo for the trip.
well placed almost in the center of the city
- very very small room - kingsize bed also very small - room with view on wall - very expensive - two people with two bags couldn't even move around the room
Beds are very comfortable and the hotel interior design is very nice.
Rooms are very small and the hotel is really expensive. Staff was kind but unable to give us any useful information about public transport, restaurants, etc.
...Harbour Court was perfectly located, just around the corner from the start! Clean and confortable room Coffee in the morning and cookies at night were a very nice touch
No wi-fi service
Free use of bikes, tea & wine
Couldn't find any coffee in morning
The location was good--within walking distance to the Ferry Building and good restaurants. We had a view of the Bay Bridge.
Perhaps if we had booked earlier the price would have been lower.
The staff was friendly, they offered complimenatry drinks and vine in the afternoon. It was clean and nicely furnished. We only stayed one night but think that the location was good for exploring the city. The hop-on-hop off bus stopped outside the door and walking distance to Chinatown and across the street from the Ferry building.
Our room was extremely small, we could not open our suitcase properly, it was that small. Bathroom was an OK size. There was also a fan outside that made noise, so make sure you do not get room 401, it must be their smallest room. Our friends had a much nicer and larger room facing the other direction and hence they were very pleased with the hotel. Considering the high prices in San Francisco we were not happy with our room.
Free beer/wine happy hour everyday Great location Super friendly staff
Room is a bit small Bed a little uncomfortable A/C could be better
Location. Free drinks and snacks in early evening. Pleasant staff.
Quite noisy and small room for the price. Air vents// fans in the internal courtyard were loud at night. Price of overnight parking was extortionate.
