This charming Provincetown guesthouse features a rooftop terrace with views of the harbor and serves a gourmet chef-prepared breakfast.
Score from 278 reviews Excellent
Quite honestly, everything was pretty doggone perfect. The hotel itself (decor, etc) the location, the staff (we LOVE Adrienne and Loretta), Friday Fish Fry(WOW WHAT A COOL SURPRISE!) brunch on Sunday...ALL top notch. We WILL be back!!!
The Harbor Hotel was by far one of my best stays in Provincetown. The bed was comfortable, there was an excellent breakfast buffet served for a fee and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I'm going back again next year!
The walk to and from town was a little long but it was far off the beaten path and very quiet for sleeping.
Very helpful and friendly team running the place & restaurent
Nothing not to like except prices steep but they are everywhere in this location
Breakfast bar, all the space for socializing... FIRE PIT!
Tub didn't drain well.
Beach front... Nice staff... Tasteful furnishings all over ... Decent breakfast .. Lovely suite appointments (worth the extra $$$)
If your mind is not open to 'alternative' orientation/lifestyle ... Stay away from the town in general
Only two of the three fire pit rings were working
Location opposite the beach comfortable bed food was nice and hot at breakfast
Surly front desk staff waited over 30 min at breakfast for service food slow to come out only two people who were rushing to do everything
Close to town. Nice view. Comfortable room, good size.
The walls seemed very thin. I could hear everything going on above me. No rugs to absorb the sound. Was woken up several times by loud people.
Room was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was good.
Our room was not rated "pet friendly" so cost an extra $10. Wasn't even carpet on the floor - so what would make a room more pet friendly? Motel next door said pets stay free - would have saved us $35!! Also, partyers outside our door from 12 - 1AM. Asked the to take it somewhere else where they wouldn't be disturbing someone who was paying to sleep, but was ignored of course.
Location and cleanliness
the dog barking next door during the night
We loved the convenience of being just a couple of miles to the center of Provincetown. Having the room facing the harbor was very nice. It's a beautiful view of the harbor and of Provincetown.
The room and bathroom were very clean, however, it would have been nice if the bathroom were updated with new tub and tile. It looks like some updates had been started but not completed.
Modern structure in waterfront of the sea Close to the cozy center of Provincetown
Spacious room with a super comfy bed, we slept on it like on a cloud. Very helpful personnel - every morning they checked a whales watching schedule for us. Location is great.
Our bath tub looked too old and there were dark grey stains of a glue for anti-slippery mat.
I like the Provincetown vibe after all the crowds go home at the end of the summer.
We loved the cleanliness and simple but very comfortable room- larger than most. Friendly, helpful staff. Great location
That we had to leave
No carpets in the room
Everything , modern and walking to ocean and town. Good breakfast
No hot tub or pool ?
The hotel has a very cool vibe. There is a great courtyard for dogs. The decor is very mod and updated. The view of the harbor and the city of Provincetown is beautiful. I enjoyed walking in the ocean during low tide, which is just across the street.
The location was a bit far from the downtown area of Provincetown. There was a shuttle but it was not very reliable.
The picture in the ad let it look like the motel was right on the beach, but it was across the street. It wasn't a beach that you could go and relax at. We had requested first floor and quiet, and didn't get either. Not worth the money.
No rugs and sliding door hard to open and vlose
Opposite beach. Clean, funky rooms.
Poorly soundproofed - especially ground floor rooms at the front of the hotel where people pass by all night.
I liked the location and having a restaurant in the hotel. I loved the beach accross the hotel.
The food could be better. Not enough salads and vegetable in the menue. Too many fried food and not enough fresh and healthy food for breakfast.
Staff was excellent , very helpful with everything . Great ocean view . Best value for time of year !
Rooms were average and no carpet on the floor
The bathroom sink was nice and big and functional.
It was a Monday afternoon, off season and there were a lot of staff around loudly talking to each other from floor to floor then the lawn mowing began just I lay down for a much needed nap. I will be calling the hotel today to have a mysterious 25.00 charge removed, which I inquired about at the desk when I checked out. They said it was a "pet" fee. I don't have a pet. Very fishy!
We especially enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at night time drinking wine and toasting marshmallows
Basic flooring in hotel room, albeit we were near poolside
