The room was freezing. The hating was probably not working and there were no extra blankets. When I told the reception at morning they just said "oh yes that room is really hard to heat". I tried to get a hot tea at 11 pm but neither the bar nor the reception could get me that.
The staff was extremely friendly, and the location was perfect. Will stay again!
Near Freedom Trail and harbor. Subway station at front door
No doorman. Front desk folks not very knowledgeable or helpful
While I was waiting in the lobby for my boyfriend to get out car after we checked out 11/11 at 12pm, I overheard one of the front desk associates (male) make rude comments and use profanity after he ended a call with a customer. It made me think what was said about me after I called to ask a question or want to make a reservation for a future trip. I really enjoyed the hotel and the location was great but it was upsetting to hear an associate talk about customers in the way he did. I would think twice about staying there again or recommending it, there are plenty of other hotels in Boston we could stay at for our future trips next year. Given he's in the hospitality industry, his attitude after helping a customer on the phone was less than hospitable.
Excellent location on the Blue subway line, giving easy access to the airport. Nice 24-hour corner store nearby. Short walk up to Haymarket for fresh food market and alternative subway line.
So close to everything
The steps in the room
Everything... the location, the view, comfortable, clean. Very good hotel!
The room was nice and comfortable. The position was very good to visit the city and also to move in other places (south station is very close by feet). In front of the hotel there is the Metro, line blue Aquarium. The area where the hotel is located is very nice.
Like in other hotels in Boston (I used three different hotels during my stay), the price of the room was too high in comparison to the real value and services offered (no breakfast, nothing in the fridge-bar, etc.). But I think this the standard in Boston
Location. Hotel is very close to major sights and is right next to the subway station.
Quite noisy thin walls
Located within walking distance to Quincy Market, the Aquarium and many other sites. No complaints!
Nice room Helpful Staff
Limited food but plenty facilities close
Right beside a subway station to get to the airport
No coffee/tea making in room.
Room deco was good very comfortable
For the price some amenities like slippers would have been nice. Also in this day and age an iPod doc or at least audio input to stero would have been nice.
Good wifi Great location for the harbour Helpful staff
Would have preferred a window to outside rather that into gallery hall
Could not be better location, 2 "T" stops from airport, walking to everything. Only downside was we stayed on Halloween, and area very busy until late that night.
Location, staff and value!
What's not to like? Rooms aren't huge but what would you expect for the price and location.
The location is terrefic in order to cover %70 of all desirable Boston parts.
My room was not have any window to the outside..
The hotel was perfect for my 2 night stay. It was clean and quiet. The lounge was awesome-great drinks and comfortable couches. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
No coffee in room.
Clean rooms, nice bathrooms
would be nice to have bathroom nightlights toilet leak with water running, asked for it to be fixed, but wasn't done
I liked the style of the room and how close it was to everything.
I didn't like the shower. The water pressure from the shower head left something to be desired. I also didn't like how dimly lit the room was, even with all the lights on. It was like all the lights were set to dim.
Comfortable and convenient
Great rooms, location, and staff. Modern decor was beautiful. Strongly recommend this hotel!
NIce rooms Free luggage storage Access to internet Friendly staff Easy check in/out clean places to eat close by great location for harbor cruises
Bar next door
We were in walking distance to everything! Worth the price.
The central location was great for visiting all the main sights of Boston. The rooms were clean, roomy and very comfortable. We found the reception staff to be friendly, polite & extremely helpful. All in all a very nice hotel.
It is quite an expensive hotel, especially considering that breakfast is not included, but there doesn't appear to be such a thing as a competitevly priced, centrally located hotel in Boston.
