Very clean, good position nearby downtown, good wifi and good staff

Just few parking rooms...if you arrive late you will have to find a place on the street...

I liked only the location of the hotel.

The rooms were really small and not comfortable at all.

    The breakfast

Nice room with a balcony, fridge, not noisy despite being near the airport and main road. Helpful staff, nice breakfast : we asked to have some orange juice for the children as there were just coffee, toast and waffle and they made us a jug of lovely frothy juice. Lovely neighbourhood of little Italy, and harbor 5 mins walking distance. Tram near by to explore old town of San Diego.

Stong smell of deodorizer when we got in the room but OK as we could air the room easily.

The location was close to the Gaslamp District.

Room was dirty. Smelled like there was a water leak and it had been repaired. Moldy/musty smell. Upon check-out, I did not get an itemized bill. Just a small credit card receipt.

Excellent location. Easy access to I-5, to airport, to Little Italy and to Seaport Village

Smells like a nursing home Rooms are small and in need of some minor upkeep

The location of the hotel in Little Italy was within walking distance of many restaurants and shops.

The hotel parking lot was small and narrow so that when it was full, you were in danger of hitting other parked cars. The "breakfast" was sub par. You're better off going to one of the many nearby cafes.

    Staff friendly, but broken English; conveniently located sort of close to airport/downtown; 7-Eleven one block away saved the day for what hotel didn't offer (decent breakfast-only toast or toaster waffle, no fruit, no oj, no cooking whatsoever); free parking;

The price on an event weekend was double what it was worth. For $308 I would expect a much better room size. No vending machine; no ice machine; no secure outside doors (fire escape door propped open, main door was always open); this is a mom and pop hotel needing lots of updates; torn curtains seen from outside; poor breakfast; had to pay in advance instead of at checkout

The street level entrance terribly smells urine. Breakfast was even below the American standards. The location was so so (close only to little Italy, if you do not have a car you cannot go to sea port village for example)

Location was great, had it's own parking lot which is great for downtown.

Breakfast could have been alot more than just a frozen waffle. A little disappointed.

    Staff was polite.

My room smelled strongly of a chemical that I couldn't identify. My things still smell of it. And the rate was really inflated for the 4th of July --way, way beyond what the room was worth. A tiny room that smelled toxic next to a major freeway for over $400? please...

Quality of the facilities is terrible. The nightly price for this hotel should be maximum 50 USD. Everything above is too much. Even the smell is awfull. Noisy.

Good location. Great Value. Place was clean, the water was hot, it had towels, the bed was fine. I don't spend much time awake in hotel rooms when I'm on trips. If the place meets these criteria, I'm happy. Yes the elevator is little. It worked fine.

The A.C. unit in 402 has a thermostat problem, but it is San Diego, you can just open a window.

Great location. Walk to everything. Clean and comfortable. Friendly owner.

Breakfast could be better. Limited choice, weak coffee.
