The location and staff were great. A good gym too.
The fridge in the room is too noisy and there is quite a bit of noise from the street. The hotel does supply air plugs. The wifi quality is poor.
The employees were super helpful and friendly, the hotel was clean and very nice. This was my second stay and I would definitely stay here again. The rooms are huge and had everything we could possibly need.
The bed was very uncomfortable and was difficult to sleep on. I woke up with back and neck pain each morning. Last year I did not have that problem so I'm not sure if its just the one room. Also the WIFI was terrible. It didn't work in the room
The were not only very enthusiastic, helpful and professional but had great personalities and a sense of humour which was enjoyable
excellent price. great beds, big bathrooms, great kitchen appliances and utensils. personal safe in the room, big screen tv, fan, central heat and a/c. lots of towels. generous sized toiletries. nice seating area with dining table.
stinky street with lots of homeless people, pawn shops, and payday loans. load drunks on the streets at night. staff calling the room too much, to ask if you need anything was kind of annoying. would be better if they let you ask them when you want something.
The kitchen, the service, great location
Valet parking $30 per day.
- Good location not too far from the convention center - Staff was mostly helpful and valet was quick and efficient - Room was large and quiet with well stocked kitchen
- Pushy time-share sales pitch when we were trying to check in. we were tired and just wanted to go to our room and didn't appreicated the hard sell. Took several minutes of "no" replies before we could fianlly escape. Other than that, all the other staff was great. If they want this to be a perfect experience they should ditch the forced stop at the sales desk.
Fantastic location for exploring all areas of the city. Fantastic staff throughout, all were friendly and helpful. Spacious rooms that were clean on arrival. Overall a great stay
I was attending a medical conference held at the Hyatt for almost one week. Since that place was expensive and not in the Downtown area, I decided to book this place for various reasons, including its strategic location, the space and the kitchenette. I was fascinated with the photos supplied by Booking.com. True enough, my wife and I were quite impressed the moment we walked into our room on the 4th floor. It was well appointed, spotlessly clean and cozy. In the evening it was pretty quiet, so you were assured of a good night's sleep. My wife enjoyed exploring the vicinity, shopping at the nearby mall and just lounging at our "crib". I went to Mass at the Cathedral a few blocks up before going to the conference venue, which was a good walk down to Harbor Drive and thus affording a healthy way of transporting myself. It was hard to leave when it was time to check out, but we will come back soon and stay here again to visit my brother.
Nothing at all!
location of the hotel, spacious room, cleanliness of the room and helpful staff.
Our room was more like an apartment, kitchen with microwave, toaster, coffee maker, enormous fridge! Large comfy bed and sofa and chair! It was a home from home! Great position for gaslight quarter! Loved San Diego, Bay Area is beautiful, also Coronado Island is stunning!
Not complaining really, but steam room etc being repaired so couldn't use! Also, watch out for timeshare salesperson! They offer to refund parking in exchange for you attending meeting! Parking expensive!
Location,standard of room facilities
Hairs on bathroom floor, booked as Harbour Lights - no mention that it was actually the Wyndham on booking .com paperwork - therefore drove past it three times...
The front desk team were fantastic and the hotel is well placed in the Gaslamp District but not noisy at night
Good price. Big rooms. Good location
Problems with valet parking through the hotel
Location and the front desk staff
Bed dip on one side caused back pain. Bathroom door had a loud creak every time it was opened, woke us up when my husband used the bathroom at night. Toilet to low. We did not appreciate the unwelcome pressure to attend a seminar for time share. We were made to feel really uncomfortable Once we refused we were still pressured. We would like to thank Ryan the bellman he was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Also the young lady that was on the desk at check out.
Loved the hotel and it's location. Room was great and loved the kitchen. We will someday return for another great trip and plan to stay at Harbour. Staff was great...very friendly and made us feel right at home.
great location near dining, shops, transportation. the staff was more than friendly, they were very helpful.we would stay here again.
we liked everything
Big room, we asked for a quiet room and got one, the staff was very very nice and helpfull.
No room service, unless you ask and pay for. The valet parking is expensive.
Friendly staff, lovely rooms, snacks and lemonade in the afternoon, great service and lots of friendly smiles. Easy walking distance to the shops, restaurants, the conference center. Bus and trolley stops close by for accessing Balboa Park and Coronado Island. Great stay
Because of the location on 5th Ave where everything happens, the noise level was pretty distracting at night. Ear plugs in the room were most welcome.
Poor wi-fi connection. As well, the constant blinking message light on the phone was annoying. They said they were updating phone system, but that should have been taken care of before renting room out.
We had 3 lads in one suite which meant 2 sharing the bed and one on the sofa bed, but the bed is so big they didn't feel like they were sharing and the sofa bed is extremely comfy - better than most beds. Location is brilliant - The gas lamp quarter is the place to be and this is slap bang in the middle of it (but never noticed any noise) Staff were great, seen a lot of negative reviews about being pestered about buying a time share. I did have a call within ten minutes of entering the room but after that we weren't pestered once. Room is plenty big enough, facilities are good, didn't really use kitchen facilities but it was well presented. This is a fantastic base for a 3/4 night visit to San Diego Do not miss out on visiting Mission Beach..brilliant. (not sure i'd say the same about going to see the Padres though - we went to see a big local rivalry between the Padres and the Dodgers, it was packed and the atmosphere was great but the batters might as well be holding a sausage as they never hit the ball anyway !)
Didn't really bother us too much but you don't get daily maid service.
Excellent location superb sized room
Everything was to my liking
The room was spectacular, updated and spacious. Even the sofa bed was comfortable. Lots of towels even though they only service room every 3rd full day of your stay. I actually appreciated that!
We were on the second floor which we heard all the traffic and people. Would have been better if we were on a higher floor.
location right in the heart of the Gas Lamp District is great with all of the restaurants and bars, but that also means it's loud.
street noise makes for a loud stay on the lower levels of the hotel, but on the sixth floor where I was, thankfully the noise didn't keep me awake
Location, comfort, privacy
Good location. Great staff, missing package was tracked actively by staff until found.
Noisy as it was next to parking lot, with traffic in and out quite constnat
