Mattress gave us back aches. Toilet had no power flush causing it to clog 3 times during our visit. No lighting at mirror in restroom
Loved the location!! Walking distance to everything we wanted to do! Will stay here again for sure!
Good music, the area
Room was gorgeous. Shower was nice. Would of enjoyed a big tub. Decor was great.
Elevators gave us problems with our room keys. Which was resolved. The price versus the view is my biggest dislike.
Parking fee No special treatment for our 5y anniversary Room not clean Terrible view of the suite on the top floor
Late check out
parking prices,maids constantly knocking
The first night rate was $199. The rate was then raised by $30 per night. The overnight parking was $45 per night. The Marriott across the street is a MUCH better view and value. I will NEVER stay there again!
Valet and bell hops were amazing...
Check out on my email was 12 I then I was told that morning it was 11 and was rushed out...
Great location provides quick access to food, entertainment and shopping. Dig the room layout and amenities. Modern and fun.
check in process slow. They dont have enough kiosks and there is always a line.
loved the location.
1. I do not mind to pay $400, and I do not want a free breakfast or free any thing , but give me what I paid for, looking on the web site I wanted a larger room so I booked a suite, from the photos it looks large, it is a match box, the furniture was like it was from ikea, the rooms were so small. I wanted to sleep in but could not because drapes do not close all the way they fall short by 18 inches, so much sunlight at 6 am in the morning,. paid $60 for a hamburger and salad, no drinks no water. paid $7 for person to bring food up. Rooms was dirty with dust everywhere. The hotel look awesome from the website but you need to take it with a grain of salt. I went there to propose to my future wife, I wanted it to be so special. yes she said yes to me and i suppose that's what counts the most, but please do not have high hopes try kimpton hotels they value guests and get a better bang for your buck,
Fantastic location right in the Gas Lamp district
Very Loud guests and obviously very thin walls
I liked the location of the hotel and the hotel it's self ! The staff was absolutely amazing, the room was awesome, room service was delicious. I highly recommend anyone to stay here while visiting San Diego!
Location and room
Comfortable bed, clean room,
When i arrived there was no one to greet us. No valet was present when i arrived had to look for them. Had to wait about 20min. To get registered due to only one attendent being at the front desk. I asked for a refrigerator for my room when booking my room for medical reasons and did not receive one free. Only one in room was under lock and key and would have to pay for the use of it. This is my second time at this hotel and will more likely be my last. .
The rooms are very spacious with 2 teenagers we have enough room to spread on a double bed room. We used their bikes and I had the time of our lives.
No free wifi and not thrilled about the resort fee.
The location and view from our room was real good, the room was real nice and modern
The price was a bit high
Location was the only good part.
Way too loud, unable to even sleep.people are out of control and there's no security to regulate the loudness.
My room didnot tie die up by management hotel. After we come back at night. Very bad
If your want to be loud and party come here. Not a good place for a solo traveler on business. I picked it because it was close to the convention center where I had a conference. Quick and inexpensive food places were it this area.
The staff was incredibly helpful and hospitable. There was a good vibe to the place. When we requested an additional mirror to the room, one of the staff members went out of her way to find us a full length mirror. I loved the options of being able to hook up an amplifyier to the room to jam on an electric guitar that the hotel can provide, or mix on a Tracktor.
The TV wasn't functioning properly, but the on staff engineer helped us work the audio system and was very helpful. We had 3 girls to a room, so an additional larger mirror outside of the bathroom is needed.
Staff was very friendly. The location was excellent and the room was excellent.
The construction going on was very loud and it looked very dirty as I got off the elevator. Tools and plastic were all over the hall. Construction was very loud and woke me up early in the morning. It is as inconvenient and for the price of the room was very disappointing. My stay wasn't as relaxing as I wanted it to be.
Regular rooms were a bit small.
Theme Location: in the Gaslamp Quarter Night life
Price Parking value Despite having searched the hotel for the theme and the night life, the sound of the parties may disturb guests.
Close to the convention center.
There was no coffee in the rooms, and even though coffee was offered downstairs, not only was that inconvenient, but majority of the time there was NO coffee even made. Also, the layout of the Suite Bathroom was weird and not very private!
