I had a great experience, but the hotel is very expensive and includes amenities that I did not use.
Just great facilities and location for a business travler.
I loved the location, easy access to conduct my conference business. Loved the room, comfy, plush, modern. Great club 207, great food at the family restaurant.
Very small pool, not child friendly.
Right in the Gaslamp district, fun deco especially if you're into music.
Shannon and Antonio were extremely helpful in assisting us with an extended stay at a reasonable price. The hotel is located at the bottom of 5th, in the gaslamp district. Easy walk to numerous excellent restaurants. I Yelped everything and was not disappointed. Barleymash was our favorite food.
$45 to valet when they don't tell you that it's $15 to self park next door.
Our floor & room always smelled fatrty. Sorry but it did
Restaurant were all very good
Staff was excellent!!!
Excellent location relative to the convention center, nice shower, very hot water.

Mattress gave us back aches. Toilet had no power flush causing it to clog 3 times during our visit. No lighting at mirror in restroom
Loved the location!! Walking distance to everything we wanted to do! Will stay here again for sure!
Good music, the area
Elevators gave us problems with our room keys. Which was resolved. The price versus the view is my biggest dislike.
Room was gorgeous. Shower was nice. Would of enjoyed a big tub. Decor was great.
Parking fee No special treatment for our 5y anniversary Room not clean Terrible view of the suite on the top floor
parking prices,maids constantly knocking
Late check out
The first night rate was $199. The rate was then raised by $30 per night. The overnight parking was $45 per night. The Marriott across the street is a MUCH better view and value. I will NEVER stay there again!
Check out on my email was 12 I then I was told that morning it was 11 and was rushed out...
Valet and bell hops were amazing...
check in process slow. They dont have enough kiosks and there is always a line.
Great location provides quick access to food, entertainment and shopping. Dig the room layout and amenities. Modern and fun.
1. I do not mind to pay $400, and I do not want a free breakfast or free any thing , but give me what I paid for, looking on the web site I wanted a larger room so I booked a suite, from the photos it looks large, it is a match box, the furniture was like it was from ikea, the rooms were so small. I wanted to sleep in but could not because drapes do not close all the way they fall short by 18 inches, so much sunlight at 6 am in the morning,. paid $60 for a hamburger and salad, no drinks no water. paid $7 for person to bring food up. Rooms was dirty with dust everywhere. The hotel look awesome from the website but you need to take it with a grain of salt. I went there to propose to my future wife, I wanted it to be so special. yes she said yes to me and i suppose that's what counts the most, but please do not have high hopes try kimpton hotels they value guests and get a better bang for your buck,
loved the location.
Very Loud guests and obviously very thin walls
Fantastic location right in the Gas Lamp district
I liked the location of the hotel and the hotel it's self ! The staff was absolutely amazing, the room was awesome, room service was delicious. I highly recommend anyone to stay here while visiting San Diego!
Location and room
When i arrived there was no one to greet us. No valet was present when i arrived had to look for them. Had to wait about 20min. To get registered due to only one attendent being at the front desk. I asked for a refrigerator for my room when booking my room for medical reasons and did not receive one free. Only one in room was under lock and key and would have to pay for the use of it. This is my second time at this hotel and will more likely be my last. .
Comfortable bed, clean room,
No free wifi and not thrilled about the resort fee.
The rooms are very spacious with 2 teenagers we have enough room to spread on a double bed room. We used their bikes and I had the time of our lives.
