Location Parking Ease of access
Poor food, especially for the price
Cabins added some charm, it was one of the closest accommodations to Bryce without being in the park itself. Meals were really nice (although cost extra).
No real dislikes but it would have been nice to have had a swimming pool!
The log cabins are excellent inside and out! Excellent staff or maybe the owner just call the number posted in the front door if you're late for check in, we came around 12 midnight just one ring the staff responded impronto!
Very charming cabins a well equipped Nice host Restaurant with home made traditional food. Proximity to Bryce Canyon
Restaurant/breakfast hours : restaurant closed at 8:30PM / breakfast starts at 8AM Shower water smells bad (sulfur)
Unexpectedly quaint rustic wooden cabin ... new and spacious. Down the road from Bryce Canyons and lovely humming bird feeders surround the cafe. Wonderful stay with our little boy
Not close to a gas/food/ice mart.
Motel rooms are individual cabins (but VERY close to one another).
The lovation is acceptable only if you stop for one night coming from or going to Bryce Canyon; Panguitch, the next place offering any services, is ten miles away. Around Harold's Place is nothing but plain desert. Free WiFi is a joke, there is no WiFi at all. Although I had it written on my confirmation, I was charged 20 extra bucks first, and only upon my complaint that there is no signal I have been told that WiFi coverage is outside (!) buildings only and been given my extra money back. Not more than that, even though I had booked and paid for WiFi. Apart from all that, the front desk lady was not very friendly. Straight after I was handed my room key, she closed the office for the day (at ~8pm!), and I had to ring via phone for the WiFi things, see above. The restaurant can't be good, never of the three times I was there I saw any person in or around.
cozy feel, quiet
hot water ran out very quickly
You have to try the breakfast. Home cooking at its best! My wife and I had fun "camping" in our cabin. Don't worry; there is a sink, coffee maker, shower, and two beds.
We arrived late, and no restaurants were open in this remote area, so I simply made dinner with my Propane Stove. Place looks a little old fashioned, but that's what adds to the character. If I wanted a 5 star hotel, I wouldn't be looking for a cabin.
Cute cabins were rustic and quaint. Clean rooms and good location. Hummingbirds at the restaurant.
Staff was competent but not friendly, even cold.
The 'barbecue area' was a single small barbecue grill and 2 wooden tables that had lots of slivers. There were no queen-size beds.
Location relative to bryce
No internet in cottage Erratic internet at office Were placed to noisy room instead of cottage and changed back only after insisting on original deal Staff is not accommodating
Wonderful restaurant, great service, down home food and 60's music..
Rooms face parking lot, and could be updated
Nice spacious cabins.
Could do with fridge and wifi in rooms. Also a telephone to contact other rooms would have been handy as our son was poorly and staying in a separate cabin. The cellphone reception was poor.
The small but adequate cabin was built with the same style log as our former home. Had a pleasant piney aroma, comfy beds, nice location close to Bryce Canyon.
Restaurant wasn't open when we were there but there were many other places to eat in the area.
Cute cabins, location near main hwy. and close to National Park.
Bed mattresses, insects in room, dirty windows.
Next to highway very noisy with cars going past all night long. Staff could have been friendlier and more available and Informative regarding food options I.e. Chef from Las Vegas and such
The location was very convenient for a trip to Bryce Canyon. Restaurant had excellent food.
No wifi in cabins.
Detached cabin meant no noisy neighbours.
No Wi-fi in room and had to go to adjacent Hotel and sit outside the Reception as the door was locked. Area of cabins was bleak and everything very much diy. The bedding and linen were all very old and past their best - Grey and hole in towel. All food was well fried! Didn't appreciate hearing the owner's tales of woe, and complaints about previous customers whilst eating a meal after a long drive.
Location.very easy to find after long day
Wifi only in restaurant
-we stayed in one of the comfortable, all wood log cabins with a small porch in front -choice of ceiling fans or A/C -friendly restaurant with good inexpensive breakfast -close to Bryce Canyon
The location was convenient and it was fun to sleep in a private cabin.
We reserved a single king bed way in advance and when we got there were told that there were none available and that it was our fault because we came later than they thought we would...we were stuck with 2 full size beds which wasn't a huge deal but the sheets felt like sandpaper. We will not be staying here again.
Clean, good location
Could not connect to internet
close to Bryce Canyon, Red Canyon and lots of other hiking trails
wifi only worked in lobby of main section of hotel, cabins were in parking lot of restaurant
Restaurant has good food and friendly service.
Nice design. Clean & comfy
No fridge. No wifi. Food options are limited.
