Comfortable room. Helpful and friendly hosts.Maggie's homemade granola is just terrific. We will surely return next time we are in Boston.
Owners made every effort to make our stay an enjoyable one. We highly recommend.
The Harrington House exceeded all my expectations and more! We arrived and were instantly greeted by Maggie who is warm and pleasant. The house is beautiful, classic, and has a homely feel to it. Our room had lovely bay windows that overlooked the pier. The best part was waking up every morning to a gorgeous view and a fantastic breakfast. We were spoiled by all the delicious baked goodies. I hope to return again soon :)
This b & b is excellent value the location although out of Boston was still accessible to the city sights and within easy distance of Logan airport. Best of all for me was the view across the harboutr at sunset but close behind was the house, the breakfast and the very warm welcome from Maggie and Joey.
Nothing to dislike
nice view, not far from boston
Maggie was a wonderful hostess. She made us feel very welcome in her home. It was very easy to get to downtown Boston by bus and subway. I would recommend the Harrington House for your next visit to Boston.
House was full of character, nice tasteful furnishings, great views overlooking the boats and Boston. Good restaurants nearby. Nice breakfast. Owners most obliging and willing to help. Good public transport into Boston.
Bed was a bit hard.
The view was amazing. The location was perfect, good views of the city, the bay and the marina.
Owner hospitality, quality of breakfast, number of good restaurants in the local area, access to local transport for ease of access to city and the airport
Shared bathroom but there was never any wait for access so not an issue
Fresh fruit with breakfast, homemade cookies and granola. Space to sit and talk together.
No toast, no bread
Quite, comfortable, very close to public transportation and easy to get to and from downtown Boston. Joey and Maggie went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Good value. All the guests were very respectful of each other. If ever in Boston again. We would definitely return to the Harrington House. The location and views of the Boston Harbor are priceless.
Sharing bathrooms. We had two bathrooms to use for 3 guest rooms. It was never a problem to have a bathroom available when it was needed.
The view from our window was amazing! By day we could see the skyline of Boston, at twilight we could see a beautiful sunset and following that we could see Boston at night!
Beautiful view on Boston and harbour Great decoration in the house Great help with tourist information Easily reached by public transport Winthrop is close to Boston and a beautifull town in itself
Sometimes noisy airplanes
- friendliness and helpfulness of hosts - amazing breakfast - comfort in rooms - downtown Boston accessible with local bus and trains in about 40 minutes - we at first had concerns about the use of a shared bathroom. But everything worked out perfectly
Noise of nearby airport.
Hospitable couple running the BB with lovely environment.
Not much I don't like
This stay was like being at home with my family. Lovely, with many details decorated room, tasty breakfast with fresh muffins and fruit as well as flakes. In the afternoon there were also self-made cookies. Detailed information about Boston and its infrastructure. Result: must stay!
Our first time in Boston but not the last Everything at Harrington House is perfect! A beautiful `home from home`,great breakfast with homemade muffins, fabulous location (no problems travelling into Boston bus stop outside). Everthing you could want and more! We had a wonderful stay. Joey and Maggie have got it right. We were treated like one of the family. We could not fault anything. We will definitely return.
Pretty much everything was fabulous. Great breakfast and afternoon snacks. Lovely view.
I would prefer an ensure bathroom would be my only comment.
This is the first time we tried a bed and breakfast instead of a hotel and we loved it! It feels so much more like a home away from home and the owners are warm and welcoming. On top of all that the breakfast was so lovely. Thank you for a great trip :-)
The BnB of Joey and Maggie is very nice, nice situated, the house is wonderful, very clean and the hosts are really very friendly and helpful. The reachability of Boston city is very good as there is a bus stop next to the BnB which goes to the train station.
It was clear to me that iwould hear the airport which is next to this place but i wondered that the street was that much used because the place is at the end of the half island but the traffic goes until midnight and starts again at 5.30 h. So if you don't mind sleeping with closed windows it is not an issue but sleeping with open window is only in this time slot possible. The place is perfect for spending 1-2 days but for a vacation of a week it is too noisy (for me). If noise is not issue for you it is great to stay there :-)
breakfast with very good muffins!
Great hosts, great location, great time, great place.
Bed gave me back ache, but it may be me.
certainly this b&b profits much from the warm atmosphere, which is created by the owners beautiful views of Boston's skyline and awesome sunsets tidy Next time in Boston I'll be back
rather noisy (which was kind of expected due to the airport and a pub nearby). no hairdryer no TV, but free WiFi
owners deserve a medal for the lovely service and the atmosphere they created
from time to time a bit noisy due to proximity of airport
Incredible breakfast, spotless bathroom, lovely house, fantastic hosts!
We should have stayed longer!
