Harrington House Bed & Breakfast

The location was perfect for going into Boston. Bus at door stop that takes you to the train. Right on bay so you can see Boston from your room. Homemade goodies for breakfast and homemade cookies when you return.

It's not that I dislike anything, but I can see this as a issue if you have 6 people there at once & that being there is only 1 bathroom. I feel there should be at least a 1/2 bath downstairs.

Greeted by the owners and made to feel like family, located in a quaint little part of town where you could walk the streets at night to a local restaurant taking in the smell and sounds of the ocean.

Was not able to take the public transportation to its location.

The views of downtown Boston from the B&B are fabulous. The location is great - close to the t stop making Boston very accessible and near a great running trail and kiddie playground. Fabulous food - cookies at 4, tea and coffee any time, and a homemade breakfast. Nice sitting room with tv, internet and books with views overlooking the ocean and city. The owners, Maggie and Joey, were very personable and accomodating as we have 2 young children (ages 2 and 4).

All in all a pleasant surprise for me. I am from the north shore of Boston and never knew the nice qualities Winthrop offered. I really like the area. The close proxsimity to the airport and overhead planes really did not seem a deterrent to the overall pleasant quality of the Inn.

It was a perfect distance from the city to beconsidered away from the hustle n bustle yet a very short ride from all major attractions

They were so accommodating, I really have No negatives.

Maggie and Joey have restored Harrington House to its original condition. There are not enough superlatives to describe how truly wonderful it is to stay there and share their hom.

We spent a weekend in Harrington b and b. The breakfast was fantastic. De lady of the house can cook!! The granola, the self baked cookies, croissant it was all fresh and delicious. We had the room with the view on Boston. There are a view restaurants nearby. The location for walks is very good. We hope to come back to Boston one day and stay with you again.

Convenient location to Boston Logan airport. Beautiful view of city skyline across the harbor. Comfortable sitting area downstairs. Fresh baked cookies in evening. Help-yourself Keurig coffee. Easy walk a few blocks to some nice local restaurants.

Manager was very friendly. Reserved cab and set alarm even though I arrived late.Recommend highly.

The b&b is located in a very quiet place with easy access to public transportation. The rooms are cozy but very comfortable and charming. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

It felt like a home away from home - very comfortable and relaxing. We loved having access to tea, coffee, and fruit whenever we wanted them, and were welcomed with the smell of freshly baked delicious chocolate chip cookies. The restaurant recommendations were fabulous, and our hostess was attentive to our every need without being intrusive. We would have loved to stay for longer, and would highly recommend staying here to family and friends!

Very nice place, Maggie was wonderful, home made cereals croissants buscuits, freedom to relax in the home and generally , well worth the stay.

Maggie was very helpfull as we were in Boston for the first time. We had to leave the B&B at 4:30 am to catch a flight and she still went out of her way to make sure that we had some breakfast before we left. The house in general, and our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. I would recommend the Harrington House to anyone going to Boston.

Home from home, relaxing and friendly place to stay. Good continental breakfast. Very clean. Friendly host.

Having to share a bathroom , although we only had to wait once. As we knew it was a shared bathroom this was not a problem, our expectations were not let down by this point.

It's a charming house with sea views. The owner was keen to do everything she could to make our stay comfortable.

Excellent location for a visit to Boston. Easy to get to the city by ferry or the T. While it is itself in a quiet scenic neighborhood with excellent views.

It is a shared bathroom. I only put it here as a warning if that is a problem for anyone. With only 3 rooms, we had no problems with use as our schedules all seemed to be very different. Everyone was very considerate of the other guests.
