Club Quarters in Washington DC is a new concept for the hotel industry. This private, full service hotel overlooks Farragut Square, and is 2 blocks north of the White House, and near Lafayette Square....

We were able to walk to many attraction and easily pick up the hop on hop off right around corner lots of great restaurants also perfect location
Wifi very bad No international TV Very cold air conditioning
location, close to restaurants and attractions, free wifi, clean
rooms were not great, old hotel, staff was okay
The location and cost (compared to other DC hotels) is great.
The hotel is historic, which is very charming, but could use a bit of an update. The hotel does not smell very good. The update could be done while maintaining the charm.
Very central location.good value
It needs a refit in the rooms
Great location, everyone was helpful and friendly.
Restaurant breakfast not worth eating. Have to request shampoo. Wifi is just enough for emails and web browsing, slow and no downloads.
Comfortable, clean room and bathroom. Excellent restaurant (Harriet's). Good value for money. Great location.
Décor in bedroom, and bathroom fixtures rather shabby - hotel could use some upgrades, but not bad for a 100 year old building.
Location,location and location
Needs updating of furnishing and furniture
We were greeted by a happy staff when we walked in and any time after that they were friendly and helpful. The room was small but clean
I like the ubication .staff is excelent.
wi-fi is bad.
It was all good
Location, sense of tradition and solidity; tea and coffee facilities provided ( unlike in current Pennsylvania Hotel NY!)
Felt very safe and the people were very friendly.
Close to the heart of DC. Walking distance to major landmarks and museums. Lots of amenities in the building or very close by. Perfect place for a traveler to use as a base while striking out to various parts.
+ great location, right in downtown, only 5 minute walk to White House + refrigerator + coffee + tea in room
- WiFi didn't work - Hotel needs renovation - Parking garage too far away (5-10 min walk) - some beds outdated - bathroom fungi
Size room (too small) Price (bit expensive)
Stayed here twice. The staff is totally awesome from the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant staff. Also, best location in D.C. and best value for your money.
Some wear and tear to the aged hotel but can seriously be overlooked by the positives.
Reasonably priced for dc. Close to all mall and most dc events within walking distance. Old fashioned but not without charm. We enjoyed our stay and would return.
It was walking distance to the mall and to the metro, saving the cost of cab-hopping. The beds were very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was fine. In general, the staff was friendly and accommodating.
Although the hotel was historic, it needed a general overhaul (perhaps restore it to its original turn of the century beauty??) and there was a very strong greasy odor near the elevators and an interesting mustiness in the lobby. Also, Harriet's Cafe was disappointing. Although the breakfast tasted good, the appearance was a turnoff and we tried other places for the rest of the stay.
The rooms were quiet and clean.
Mattress was old and saggy. The Carpet and wall paper need updating. The place with a little bit more care could be a gem in the city. No attention to details like the elevator numbers. Not the freindliest staff.
I like the location close to white house and other historical places!
Considering hotel is so old it was a great stay. Everything was nearby.
Thanks to Gail (Gayle?) for treating us like human beings & made a bad situation comfortable.
Wi-Fi in the evenings very poor.
Friendly staff, good price, excellent location, clean room, comfortable beds
The AC temperature could not be influenced, there was only a mechanical valve to shut off the airflow.
