The Harrison Hotel Miami Beach  

I loved the location, I got exactly what I expected, the staff was awesome! They were very compliaint as well. I would definitely stay there again!!

The only drawback was i didnt have a microwave, however the lady at the front desk used the employee microwave to warm up my food!

I liked that fact that the location was excellent. Great restaurants, shopping and the beach were a few blocks away. I liked the fact that it was quiet at night and we were able to get a good sleep. I liked that there were hardwood floors instead of the carpet. I also enjoyed the direcTV. For it being an Art Deco hotel it was average. The Hotel staff is very friendly and accomodating, they even suggested a really good Cuban restaurant to us which was delicious!!! All in all it was a great girls weekend! :) Also it is 1 block from the bus stop to get to the airport. That was convenient. 2.35Pp vs the 43 we paid to get there on the super shuttle. Take the bus. It's much faster imo.

I didnt like the fact that there was no door on the shower. Hence water got everywhere on the floor. It was also really hard to get more than one washcloth..like who doesnt bathe with washclothes!!! Bring your own or a poof which I forgot. But the shower does get good and hot. I wish there would have been breakfast or a pool.

The staff was extemely helpful! They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and that all of our needs were met. It's very close to the beach and there are restaturants and shopping within walking distance. The best part is that it is in the middle of everthing, but hidden at the same time. I would definitely stay here again...definitely!

The staff we were wonderful and very friendly and quick to assist with anything. Terrific location - especially being a couple of blocks away from the busiest part of South Beach.

Could have had a couple of hooks on the bathroom door for dressing gowns, etc.

It was a lovely hotel convenient to the beach and shops.

I couldn't really say anything negative about it except the part of the hotel where we were staying picked up a lot of noise from street below.

Nice hotel, near to the beach, confortable bed and friendly staff.

No elevators.

The room was a bit basic, but had a very comfortable bed and decent bathroom. The room was also very clean. The location was hard to beat - a couple of blocks away from all that South Beach has to offer without being right in the middle of the craziness. Overall, I thought that for the money it was a very good choice.

The $30 charge for parking in the lot next door, but this was probably the going rate for any place in the South Beach area.

The staff was amazing and friendly. Very clean. The location is perfect very close to the beach, shopping and bars.

They had bellhop service. It was within walking distance of the beach. Close to restaurants. The Greek restaurant gave a discount when you were staying at the Harrison hotel

No elevator

Location! Comfortable room, very artsy and fitting to the South Beach area, free wifi, beautiful courtyard

The narrow staircase up to the 2nd floor got quite slippery in the rain-- we were not directed to an elevator, but in fairness, we didn't ask & just braved the stairs!

Its a cool little hotel that has a deco type as it was a hostel at one time.The hotel staff is terrific and so helpful...It was a little noisy as the sound proofing isn't good..after someone complained they did kick out the noisy people. The location is great to goto Collins or Ocean and then to the beach...cute hotel with a deco touch...Great staff!!

Just the noise from people coming in late for those of us that had to get up early to fly..

Great location. It's definitely worth the money. The rooms are spacious and room service is great. I Recommend this hotel to anyone.

Do not expect for a fancy room. This is basically four walls with old paint on them. A descent bed with DirectTV and a descent bathroom.

terrible Bed

- location - bed was comfortable - friendly staff inside hotel, especially the woman at the reception and Kenan - free internet

- was due to check in at 3 PM but had to wait 30 minutes because the room wasn't ready - staff talks too loud in front of the rooms, everythin gcan be heard inside - no elevator - cable TV offers only a few channels, many are not available - staff outside the hotel could be more helpful - no restaurant downstairs

Friendly staff. Good location. Only 2 blocks to beach, cvs, Coffee shop around, 5mins-walk to ocean drive. Comparably quiet to other hotels at ocean drive. Good garden lounge at 1st floor

Same as other comments, no elevator is a bit inconvenient. Others okay.

Only the location

Off course most buildings in sobe are old. This one was old, not isolated, no elevator.furniture was nice but room and rest of hotel were painted by the worst painters ever. Also many damages, id needs a fresh up(other company) but I was sitting on my desk, and a roach came over. I killed it. I did nt told it because otherwise my wife woul d nt stay.the cleanstaff are not good at all, 2 night after housekeeping still binn was filled (with roach in) and dirt on the floor. Everywhere signs of bad maintainance. Never again!

Very good place~ 5 mins to the beach~ close to the bars but still very quiet~ The room was clean and comfortable~ better than the pictures on the website~no parking available，but easy to find a parking lot 1 min away~Reasonable price~ Highly recommended~

Amazing location. The room has a great size, comfortable bed and bathroom. Also very clean and well secured.

There is no lift or elevator for the luggage. So, I recommend staying for short terms only. Parking is also very expensive.

Clean, cheap, friendly, good location.

There was no knowledge in advance about the lack of an elevator. At our age (64) it's not the best way to drag heavy suitcases 2 floors uo in narrow steep stairs. what would have happen if we were older or diabled?

Very expensive (although it was NYe), no parking and no help to order a taxi (apparently all taxis were fully booked, but it was easy to order a taxi at a 5 star hotel down the road...)

The location was great. It was a short walk to Lummus Park. The hotel felt safe, secure, and clean. The room did come with 2 complimentary glasses of wine at the neighboring restaurant. We did grab a salad and some wine there, and it was very nice.

It was pricey for what it was. It is a simple hotel with simple accomodations. More than anything, you are paying for the location.
