As you stroll up the walk passing verdant gardens, bordered with bright flowers, you are sure to feel welcome the moment the front door opens and you are greeted by a smiling innkeeper.
The stately character of Hartley House is preserved in original inlaid hardwood floors, stained woodwork, leaded and stained glass windows and original brass light fixtures converted from gas. Authentic antique furnishings, period artworks and collectibles decorate the parlour, dining room, and guest rooms.

Southampton Full bed
Our smaller but cozy room features a brass bed, soft beige and green colors and a view of our lovely garden courtyard. Private bath with ceramic tiled shower and pedestal sink in the room.
Brighton Queen bed
When you enter through the French doors there is an open, soft and peaceful feel to this very light and airy room. There are twelve plantation-shuttered windows that give the feeling of being at the top of the majestic Elm trees. The views include the trees and our garden courtyard. White wicker furniture with a white wrought iron headboard complete this one of a kind atmosphere. Private bath with ceramic tiled shower.
Canterbury Queen bed
Very cozy, and comfortable room accented with celadon green and original antique furniture including the corner sink in the room. There are views of the Elm trees and gardens. Private bath with tiled shower.
Stratford Queen bed
This special room features faux painted pastel colors accented with original antiques. The view is of the majestic Elm and Palm trees and overlooks the beautiful yard and boulevard greenbelt. The private bath is split between the water closet and the shower and original sink.
Dover King bed
Elegant, and airy describe this room. A color of light green accented by a cascade of rich contrasting colors in the brass bed coverings brings a warmth and good feeling. There are views of the Elm trees, gardens and the boulevard green belt. This was the master bedroom and the spacious original bathroom features the original antique claw footed tub and marble vanity.
