Hotel was run down needs paint tons of building repairs. Seems a lot of the wood decks were rotted.
The staff had the best customer service, friendly and very accommodating.
The rooms could use some updating.
Ty that worked the front desk was awesome our tv didn't work right and immediately she got us into another room she was extremely helpful. and courteous we will stay there again
There wasn't enough sugar and creamer left in the room
Breakfast and location. Large kitchen area.
Mattress was old and lumpy. Pillows too big. Hurts to lilie on them. No wash cloths. Told front desk. They never delivered. Didn't feel clean.
Was an OK place to stay for a one nighter.
Layout of room and fireplace
Needed upgrade. Old furniture and carpet Stains on mattresses and carpet
Steps to landing and room were unsafe. I'd be ashamed to be associated with the motel if I were Wyndam. It was the most run down motel we've ever stayed in. You could even see light all the way around the door. It was built in the 70's and never upgraded from any of the original items including the tv!
The price was fair
I have paid $80/night and many places better and cleaner than this. It looks like an abandoned apartment complex. In great need of upgrading in the rooms. The blankets did not appear clean, and the blankets had holes in them. Would not consider a second stay. Disappointed considering "Wyndam" has their name attached to this place.
The Staff was wonderful!
Horrible representation of facilities online. I was totally shocked at the exterior and interior of the MOTEL......The best thing to do is call it what it was, and had you done that, I would have known what to expect and bypassed it. I was up most of the night keeping watch.......RUN Down, horrible!
location ease of check in
exterior needs repair did not clean my room one day and no washcloths uncomfortable mattress poor breakfast service
We did not like anything regarding this hotel.
Super scary! Hotel was dark (NO outside lights), run-down (chipped paint on the outside of the buildings, old furnishings, stairs were unsafe), outdated, had bugs everywhere (inside and out), slept on bedspread with blanket that had holes in it - NOT friendly surroundings. We are hesitant to use Booking.com again because of this!! Cheap is not better! We will recommend Greenville, but not this Hotel.
The suite had some nice amenities and was quite spacious.
It needed a lot of maintenance work and upkeep.
Friendly and courteous staff.
Don't be like me and assume the previous reviews were exaggerating. Believe what you read! If you can deal with dilapidated buildings, severly worn, outdated and filthy furniture, half of the room light bulbs/switches not working, then this place is for you. My reservation was for two nights, but first thing the next morning, I cancelled the remaining night's stay. The breakfast would have been good had all the items been on the buffet. The single morning staff memeber was stretched beyond her capabilites which in turn caused her collateral duties to suffer. She was tasked to operate the front desk, answer telephone calls and also cook and serve the breakfast food. The only items on the buffet were bagels, sausage patties and waffles. Had the eggs, potatoes, fresh fruit and yogurt been offered, I imagine it would have been much better. I have stayed in better places during my multiple tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. Save the hassle and stay elsewhere...
Staff was very accommodating even though they could not find my online booking information. Good location. Great value. Liked the free breakfast. Comfortable room.
Hotel didn't have my registration, even after I provided my booking number (I had booked through a third-party website).
Room for all 5 of us
Outside was pretty run down looking.
I have already written to Wyndham about this property. It is in a terrible state of disrepair, both inside and outside, paint pealing from ceiling, broken towel rack, blankets with numerous holes in them, chipped furniture, beds with mattresses almost at floor level and bedspreads so old.....!!! AND cockroaches. The outside of the building has not had any attention for many years and external staircases are a hazard. You need to seriously consider removing this facility from your offerings.
Room was clean.
The room and hotel in general desperately need a freshening up. The paint was chipped and dirty. The room was bleak inside.
Your guest service team at the front desk was by far the best group I have encountered in my travels. I called the day before our arrival and was greeted with the Southern Hospitality the South is well known for. Our every request was treated with a friendly and warm response.
It would have been nice to have complimentary coffee available 24 hours. We were advised that coffee was not available until breakfast hours. We were early morning risers (5am in the workout room) and coffe would have been nice.
Good value for city side stay. good room with lots of extras.
Breakfast was better than most hotels I've stayed at. There was always someone working at the food bar. The lady at the front desk was very friendly. I had the feeling she was the only one working there.
Exterior was dilapidated with some rotting wood noted on the siding. One of the mattresses rocked on the bed frame. Room was not furnished with enough linens for the number of guests. Sign to the hotel was extremely small beside the drive to turn in which we missed initially since the hotel sits behind another building. Our room was in the opposite corner of the complex from the office. While we were unloading, there was a shirtless man with tattoos watching us from around the corner, which made us feel uncomfortable. The free WiFi signal was poor at our location and we used a stronger signal from the Marriott which was next to us. My wife found a significantly sized cockroach during our stay.
