loved the breakfast and the large size of the room
sofa bed was broken-could not use. Just slept on sofa itself. No weekend service for fresh towels
spacious rooms, large kitchen area with counter and stools
The only negative is that the breakfast area is small and it was hard to get a table.
Stayed in the 2 bedroom suite. Was like being in an apartment. Wish we had more time to fully enjoy it.
Poor security…vehicle had 2 passenger windows broken out first night. Should have known something was up when you have to use a card or be buzzed in just to go into the lobby, day or night. Filthy "penthouse suite"…stained linens, stayed 3 days and nothing was cleaned just towels replaced and bed made. Cobwebs, dust, dirt, things duct taped for repairs. Power went out…nobody there to fix it. Actually only one person to cover entire property. Price was decent but knowing what I do now…I wouldn't stay there if it was free.
The area that the hotel is located has been abandoned by 3 major chain hotels. When I say abandoned, the hotels have been boarded up; let go, no lights in the parking lots etc. This hotel is in an area that is very dark at night because they do not have adequate lighting. It is not easy to get to from the exit of the interstate. My room entrance had broken concrete which caused the rain water to stand, so I had to walk through 2 inches of standing water to get into the room. The bottom of the door was so water damaged that you could poke holes in it. The floors and carpeting were dirty and sticky. The cleanest place was the inside of the refrigerator. The lights in the kitchen area were not working and I could not get hot water in the shower. When I reported it, I was told the maintenance team would not be in for at least 2 hours. After breakfast, my group went out to our car to find that the two windows on the passenger side of the car were broken, smashed with glass all over and the car had been ransacked. There was absolutely no concern from the staff or the general manager on duty. It appears that this happens all the time which does not say much for a Wyndham property.
The only friendly face from the staff, was the young man that checked my group in.
The suite had a upstairs!! Great for the kids!
The facility itself is in horrible disrepair. Everywhere you look it needs to be painted-tile is either falling off or gone in the bathroom-carpet is torn, sink in kitchen is filthy-floors disgusting! I bring extra socks with me and I left with 4 pairs of dirty socks which looked like I walked outside in the mud. Wyndham either needs to invest in cleaning this up or sell it off-it hurts their image.
The front desk reception man was very nice. The towels and sheets smelled wonderfully clean. The bed and pillows were super comfortable.
The WiFi didn't work. Guy was initially rude at reception but quickly warmed up and was quite pleasant. We had no real problems or complaints. We'd stay again without hesitation.
The room was cozy and the bed was comfy (much appreciated after extensive travel.) Linens were nice, down comforter was luxe. We were in Columbus meeting old friends for a show. The bathroom was conducive to getting ready with my girlfriends. Shower and vanity were separated, big full length mirror. After the show, a friend was too tired to drive back to Toledo and luckily there was a roll out sofa which was a great help to us. Kitchen was handy and room was very clean and comfortable.
My first impression when I walked up to the room was how the paint was so chipped and worn on the stairs and there were multiple spots where the paint had very obviously been touched up.There was writing on the walls in the closet, gray peeling wall paper in the kitchen, the sofa bed mattress literally was flat and torn up, as well as some of the linen on the beds, the shower rods both were sagging so they couldn't close completely, and the free breakfast (and the breakfast room) was disgusting.
It was enough room for my large family. It did have a full & functional kitchen. Stove, dishwasher, sink, and full sized refrigerator. I appreciate that it had 2 bathrooms and 2 tvs and again, definitely enough room. The children were able to go to a different space if they wanted to. The beds were comfy but the sofa bed WAS NOT! The restaurants and shopping were close enough too.
There is a total lack of response to guest's needs. For a whole week we requested towels for extra guests in the room as registered but received none. Also, the sofa bed in one of the rooms could not be used and was not repaired or replaced for a whole week stay.
The location near the highway was great. The desk staff were helpful and the breakfast was good.
The place was dirty, furniture worn and ragged, and there were multiple maintenance issues that needed addressed. The fireplace was a joke and non-functioning.
The sleeping space and layout was nice.
The room was very clean and the staff was exceptionally nice. The biscuits and gravy at breakfast were amazing!
Nothing bad to say
I liked the location and the comfort.
The sheets were old, the mattress on the sofa bed was really flattened out from excessive use. The breakfast was up stairs so I had to eat elsewhere (I AM HANDICAPPED.) Not to mention the one morning my family ate they had hard boiled eggs instead of fresh scramble.
The staff were impeccable. Kelvin and Vicki found a cord that fit my CPAP machine that I had left at home. Saved me from having to make a four and a half hour drive to retrieve the one I left behind.
Need better directions posted to get back to the hotel around the Giant Eagle. The 3 closed up hotels near by put me a little un ease. But felt safe on premises. I'm sure it was just a fluke but had to have card rekeyed all 3 days of my stay.
Convenient-rooms easily excessable once you know the acess roads. Employes were very cheerful and helpful.
The mattress on the pullout coach,no stopper for the kitchen sink.
The. Space and breakfast
The non smoking rooms smell like smoke. The couch needs to be replaced. The room was clean but dated. It is located among closed deserted hotels.
Was a little rundown could use some new paint & few more dishes.
Lots of room served a good hot breakfast & good evening snack!!
The room was: 1) not the room shown in pictures. 2) filthy. 3) So saturated with pot smoke you could smell it from outside.
It was easy to cancel and get a refund because I got there early.
The kitchen and dishes could have been a bit cleaner and our lights went out in our bathroom the night before we were leaving.
i really enjoyed the room. It was like our own little apartment. Very homey feel.
Gave them a different cars when I checked in to pay for the roo. But they took it out of the one I booked with instead.
I hate that I had to leave so soon
Everything was great, free breakfast, peaceful location, even though it was by the freeway, you heard nothing
We made this booking based in price and the reviews. Being a young couple we were trying to save some money and found this property. The pictures online must have been taken over 5 years ago because we thought we were getting a fairly decent room and then when we got there it was really beat up. Plus when you have to sign a contract saying you will not have loud and crazy parties but you can have them was a big turn off. On top of it all we did not feel safe one bit there. My boyfriend and I ended up going and finding another hotel that same night we were so turned off and disgusted by this place.
The staff seemed fairly nice.
smelled BADLY of smoke, the counter top and stove top weren't even wiped off, and the coffee mugs were filthy!
great price, friendly staff, nice rooms BUT...
