The staff are rude I had been there for a week and on my check out day like 3 or 4 staff came to my door seeing if I was going to check out I said I was going to stay until the 2 other staff came 10 mins apart back to back then I just said I would leave I'm here in Dearborn at the other one and there much better and I dont understand how and this one is in Southfield

The room was very dirty and smelled of old smoke and food. The floors weren't vacuumed, there was old food in the window seal. I wouldn't visit this place ever again.
The sales associate at the desk from 8-3 was very helpful.

At night it was loud. People would be outside yelling while carrying on conversations where you could hear every word they said. A car with a stereo system would go bumping through the parking lot all hours of the night keeping us awake. The hotel could do more about encouraging/enforcing "quiet enjoyment for all"
We loved the amount of space it offered for our family of 6, much better than cramming into a typical hotel room. Staff was very polite and helpful - extremely nice.

Did not have washcloths in our room. When I call front desk they told me they didn't have any and she would get some to me in the morning. Never saw washcloths and had to use a hand towel for my shower.
I like the kitchen.

If you stay in a "penthouse" you'd expect to have clean dishes, silverware, pots and pans? NOT! You need to get all of the necessary items from the front desk. Make sure that what you receive is Clean and able to be used. The kitchenette was not clean, the drip pans and oven were not clean. The microwave oven didn't heat the food. And, the front door didn't lock securely and was extremely drafty.
The staff was friendly and approachable. The outside of the property was a little dated and old.

when I first made reservations I thought it was a steal at the price I got it for. But then when I walked up to room 1012 I knew it was goin to be a problem there were HUGE dents in the door like it had been kicked in before I walked in the room the carpet was dingy and worn with spots everywhere, the couch was old dirty, worn, and broken with a hole with the stuffing coming out of it. The bed was small noisy and uncomfortably hard. With a comforter so thin I thought it was non existent I tried calling the front desk to tell her about it but the phone didn't work. So I called on my own phone and told her the problem. She switched me right out to a better room. Which was pretty much the same except the couch wasn't broken and it was red. This place was the hotel to be at back in '07 & '08. But now it needs a total makeover.
the front desk staff was so sweet and helpful and had no problems giving me a better room.

Everything was cool except the other guests that were staying there. Loud, rude, and ghetto. But I couldn't here anything inside the room. Only at check in. Bad first impression

The fact they never cleaned our room not once the whole 3 days we was staying we didn't get no room service. An when we leaven for the day I went down to ask could we get service the girl diamond said we had to call down before 9 to get service. Which I believe when We checked in they should told us everything we needed to know. She was so rude an the parking lot had broke glass which they never cleand. My cousin caught a flat. It's very sad. Then they locked us outta our room Friday nite saying they got noise complaints. We wasn't in our room all day when we got back to room we shower got dress an left. So we was very upset. The manager need to do something about her staff. ASAP. I will no longer continue to stay at the hotel if it's going be some bs everytime I stay.

When I went to the lobby to get some plastic silverware and paper plates, I was given a hard time by the front desk receptionist Serita. She was too busy to give me any service but objected when I just got some disposable utensils on my own. The room staff was great but because of the front desk I will not go back.
Facility overall and rooms were a very value. The nice kitchenette was wasted. If you have no glasses plates silverware or pots/pans and have to bring your own, what's the point?
