Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Universal Orlando, a Sky Hotel & Resort

Convenient location to Universal and Sea world. Friendly and efficient front desk staff. Happy hour/social hour was pleasant.

Transportation to Universal was extremely limited--really not any service at all. Breakfast food qulaity--was very poor.

We enjoyed the reception...the free drinks poolside. We would have enjoyed it more had there been music. Our room had a great design...in our opinion.

The mattresses on our beds were horrible...they sunk in the middle...very uncomfortable. Also, one of the reasons that we stayed at this hotel, was for the hot breakfast...we found it disappointing. We stayed somewhere else last year, their hot breakfast was much better. And again, music out by the pool, especially at cocktail time would have been nice. We asked for it...the person that could do it "was busy", we were told.

We had to change rooms because of the noisy air con unit which was next to the bed, the taps over the bath were hanging out of the wall, and the adjoining door had its lock fixed in with mastic.....looked and felt unsecure!! In the second room we had to call for the maintenance man to attend to the tv and the hairdryer needed replacing. Breakfast was very poor on choice and quality. The lifts didn't seem to have air con in them. Overal the hotel needs money spending on it!!

Close to Disney, had shuttles ,but we drove over anyway because the frequency of the shuttles was not often enough.

Our bathroom sink leaked and puddled on the floor.The drapery would not close completely and a light outside our window shined on the bed all night. the fruit on the breakfast buffet was not good.(canned peaches)

The room was very comfortable, and the kitchenette was very useful. The hotel location is excellent for shopping and going to the theme parks.

Breakfast, although abundant, lacked variety. It should contain more fresh fruit and more cereals.

The final check off the cleanliness of the room, this should have been check before rented, our room had chocolate on the bathroom floor and you can imagine what we thought it was at first!!!

The suite room had a nice layout and the bed was very comfortable.

No air vent in bathroom to remove moisture during showers

Comfortable rooms, with good kitchen amenities. Wireless high speed internet very convenient. Check-in staff courteous and friendly.

Bathroom drain slow - could probably easily be rectified.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, staffs were very friendly and helpful and the room was of a good size and clean. There is free shuttle service to all the main attractions in Orlando and it was very convienent for people who do not drive. Location of the hotel was great, various restuarants are near by and is within 15 minutes walking distant.

The decoration of the hotel is a bit out dated, but all other plus points made the stay at this hotel very enjoyable.

I did not like the breakfast. The sausage was very salty and the eggs were rubbery. I think you could do a better job with the free breakfast by adding a few items and forget the sausage, or try a diff brand. Maybe add a few more fruits like a banana and apple. Add bagels and some sweet rolls, maybe hard boiled eggs would be nice. This was the only thing I did not like about the hotel.
