Large rooms, location
Staying at the Haywood was a wonderful experience. It started with your check in where the staff greeted you with a glass of champagne, at night your bed turn down with chocolates. The room was very comfortable. The staff was there to meet your needs and were very friendly. It was nice to get a gift as you left with a personal note from the manager. I would recommend anyone traveling to Ashville, to stay at the Haywood, it will be a wonder experience.
Hot water was inconsistent. Voice on elevator was annoying
The WIFI really needs to be password protected instead of open to ensure security for guests.
The room was large and comfortable and very close to everything we wanted to see in Asheville
We wanted to recieve a massage on out stay and tried several times to contact the spa and never recieved a call back or anything. It was very disappointing.
The bed was very nice and had a mattress protector on it. Staff was great and room service was prompt.
The free breakfast was not that good unless you get something simple like a smoothie or oatmeal. Don't expect it to be tasty.
We love the large rooms. The bathrooms are wonderful. The price for room is a little high but the location is perfect.
Phone didn't work. TV wasn't properly adjusted. Food service very limited.
Fantastic Location with giant rooms
Room was gorgeous
Located within walking distance of several good restaurants, breweries, and shopping. The hotel staff was very friendly.
I absolutely didn't like only having one night there. I could have spent a week or more!
The staff was outstanding and we really appreciated the valet service. The room was luxurious and even though it was on the second floor, very little street noise was heard.
Quality of breakfast food
Huge roams bath
The friendliness of the staff and their willingness to go out of their way to make our stay a pleasant experience. I travel extensively in the U.S. and Internationally and this hotel rates at the top of the list.
Street noise. Better soundproofing on the windows
Haywood Park is in an EXCELLENT location! The staff were so attentive, the room spacious, and the little touches superb. (Not only is your bed turned down but amazing truffles from the local chocolatier are left). The parting gift bag was a nice touch too given we had a long car journey.
Old feeling elevator's
The old fashion feel with a great location to see the town. People at front desk were very helpful.
street noise late at night
location, location, location spacious accommodations
Overpriced for the quality of the property. Rooms and bathroom fixtures desperately need updating. Linens had holes, duvet had stains, mildew in sinks, lowest-quality toilet paper and tissues. For $265 a night I expected a much nicer hotel.
The valets/bellmen were exceptionally prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. The rooms were large. Nice breakfast and chocolates at turndown were included each day. Champagne at arrival and departure gift were nice. Constant entertainment across the street was fun to watch.
The price per night, I felt, was pretty steep with what you got, a room with a bed to sleep. Yes, the quality was better than average and with minimal rooms, it was very quiet.
The location was right downtown and close to all places we wanted to visit.
We booked our room through Booking.com. We requested a room for 2 adults with 2 children for 4 nights. We got a quote and then reserved a large suite with 2 queen beds. Upon our checkout, we were then charged an additional $200 for the children. The front desk clerk couldn't explain the hidden charge and suggested we call the manger. Since our departure we have made numerous calls to the manager and our calls have never been returned. In addition, housekeeping was very poor: no vacuuming or dusting on 2 days; toiletries or coffee condiments had to be personally requested daily. No resolution after complaints were made. We plan to never return and would not recommend this hotel.
Access to everything. Large comfortable rooms
Outstanding service, location, and room. Would return again!
We were pleasantly surprised by the musical/art events that were featured on nearly every street corner. The hotel was great. We happily walked to every place we went. The hotel Valet parked our car upon arrival & we got it when we checked out. Loved our anniversary weekend with you!
Loved the hotel and the location. Staff was wonderful and very friendly.
A little street noise.
Location was great! Loved the complimentary valet parking, champagne and water at check in, complimentary breakfast, and very comfortable bedding. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
