Access to everything. Large comfortable rooms
Outstanding service, location, and room. Would return again!
We were pleasantly surprised by the musical/art events that were featured on nearly every street corner. The hotel was great. We happily walked to every place we went. The hotel Valet parked our car upon arrival & we got it when we checked out. Loved our anniversary weekend with you!
Loved the hotel and the location. Staff was wonderful and very friendly.
A little street noise.
Location was great! Loved the complimentary valet parking, champagne and water at check in, complimentary breakfast, and very comfortable bedding. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
EVERYTHING!!! the hotel was a "mall" back in the days and still show clothes from the 70s-80s; great decor; STAFF is OMG AWESOME. help putting stuff in my car (2 girls shopping; great pop-culture gallery next door) Location is super, i didnt like restaurant / bar in town (drinks and view are great, but food is meh - no hotel related) .. rooms are comfy, clean, HUGE. thanks for a great stay
hmmm... no complains here Some ppl complain about the parking lot being a little far, but they have valet which is not extra from the fee you already pay for parking. Parking was a bit on thehigh side, but on my road trip I noticed that it seems to be the price for hotels around the area
This hotel can be seen as a reference in its class. Friendly staff, excellent service, large suite. Perfect
Nothing negative to report.
The staff could not have been more helpful and my room was lovely, large and luxurious. Will definitely stay there again on any future trips to Asheville.
The location is great, the rooms are very nice and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Parking is off-street in an unsecured garage. We didn't have a problem, but this could be an issue. Also quite a few homeless people who live around the central park down the street, so panhandling and some petty theft problems around the restaurants and cafes nearby (we witnessed a homeless fellow walk away with the tip jar from the breakfast spot for the hotel)
It was an amazing and completely enjoyable experience
The shower door didn't close properly
Staff were very helpful & friendly. Location is also centrally situated within the town.
I felt the rates were pretty pricey for a small town. Nearly paid $700 for two nights stay.
Wonderful in every way!
Great location and the hotel is much more than we expected; complimentary valet parking is a plus in downtown Asheville. Only stayed one night but we will be back.
Fabulous extras like champagne on arrival, local chocolates on pillows, valet parking and overall pleasant staff who are very willing to assist.
They were having problems with A/C
The restaurant Isas in the hotel
Staff was extremely helpful. Room was large and the beds were comfortable.
Everything. Everyone went above and beyond.
TV was messed up in our room. We weren't there to watch TV anyway. I'm sure if we would have said something it would have been fixed.
- breakfast was included - room upgrade - very helpful staff
but breakfast place was not at all cosy
Need to mop bathroom floors more often during stay
When trouble with A/C could not be resolved we were given a discount on the room. Front desk staff very helpful, pleasant and service oriented. Hotel was very nice.
Great location near shops and restaurants. The hotel rooms are large and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The welcoming champagne and departing gift bag are a nice touch!
The bellhop/valet/concierge Brian was phenomenal! Gave great recommendations, very polite and friendly and more than helpful. The entire staff was amazing, but during our stay we saw him most. The rooms are great (HUGE) which was very helpful (we were there for our wedding and had a lot of extra luggage). Hotel is within walking distance to great shopping and food! Overall great!
Location. Heart of city.
Hotel dated. Staff a bit stuffy and aloof. City noise a bit of a problem. (Not hotel's fault). Must have been bad night, counted 5 ambulances over course of the night. Unless you have to be downtown suggest staying outside of city for the monies sake!
Room size, décor and amenities. Very courteous and helpful staff. Proximity to everything!
