Enjoyed being close to Denali with less traffic. Felt like a great experience to be away from our typical hotel travel.
Really there wasn't anything not to like. The WiFi was below most hotels but I expect that would be true of cabin living. My wife actually says this was the thing she liked most ... so never mind.
Views were spectacular from sunrises to sunsets. Nighttime was nice and quiet.
No reasonably price grocery stores around so next time we'd buy supplies in Wasilla before driving up to these cabins.
clean, roomy, excelent shower, nice deck, close proximity to vehicle,
Wi Fi did not work, pass word did not work, beds to firm, bathroom door needs to be sealed, ( sound proofed, as in use an insulated exterior type door
Outstanding owners who were on the property and always available to assist with any needs. We brought our food from Fairbanks in a cooler and used the fully appointed kitchen. There are several restaurants within a few miles but it was enjoyable to eat meals without the serious calories you find in most restaurants. The front porch made for great viewing of beautiful sunsets, and the place to meet the two wonderful dogs that really run the place.
Only suggestion would be to update the television and put it on a shelf that makes viewing more comfortable.
The friendly hosts, the welcoming dogs and the beautiful cabins. They had everything we could have possibly needed including jackets in the closet in case we whew cold
Pleasant clean cabin, staff helpful but not intrusive, functional facilities, beautiful area. Well-trained, toddler-friendly dog!
Cabins were welcoming with the last name of the person written each day on the front of each cabin. Property had 2 Labradors, and provided dog biscuits in the rooms to feed them treats (very nice for us dog lovers). Nice big kitchen will stove, refrigerator, and microwave. Parking was right next to or in front of cabins.
My only complaint is the tiny TV in the room. It was high up on a cabinet and probably only about 13".
Comfortable and convienient
Close enough to Denali but far enough away from the tour buses. Friendly staff and nice dogs.
The spacious room, the kitchen, the bathroom, the bed, the heating and cooling system, the views, the quietness. Refreshments we'll stocked.
Greeting by owner, craftsmanship of building and furnishings, quiet and secluded location, clean, comfortable.
The cabin was very comfortable and well equipped. It was private and relaxing.
It's a bit of a drive to Denali if you return more than once or twice.
The cabins were very comfortable and clean. I will definitely recommend staying here.
The signage and directions made it a little hard to find.
Cabin atmosphere, kitchen, pet friendly
Loved everything about these cabins. They were like walking into my home. They were fully stocked in the kitchen with everything we needed. All we had to bring was the food to cook. Outside grill was included. I would highly recommend these cabins.
The beautiful setting, the quiet location. The bed was very comfortable and the cabin included a great kitchen and clean bathroom with a hot shower. It was a great stay.
Coffee machine had no filters. Staff should add that to their checklist.
Very nice place for family vacation.
Convenient position to visit denali park, well equipped cabins, friendly staff.
Very nice, friendly, close to denali park, nice area.
Quiet, roomy - lovely kitchen, comfortable space and great front porch - great location in the middle of a growing spruce forest. Easy drive to Denali.
Older/cheap mattress, pillow and linens. Upgrade those and this place would be amazing.
These cabins are a gem of a find very close to Denali! We absolutely felt like we were home from the welcome sign with our name on the front door to all the amenities. We wanted for absolutely nothing! Bring your food and bodies and the rest is there for your use! Staff was great as well, very laid back and friendly, right down to their dog! Needless to say we had a great time and wished we had stayed longer than just two nights. Thanks for the memories!
comfortable, kitchen to make good meals, clean, friendly staff.
The cabin is spacious enough for 2 beds and was clean. Beds are very comfortable! Plenty of storage space for luggage and unpacking. Full kitchen allowed us to eat breakfasts and suppers in the cabin. Staff is very friendly.
The kitchen was not well-equipped in terms of silverware and eating dishes We only had 2 soup/cereal bowls and plates, just a couple of pieces of basic silverware, no serving bowls, and very limited pots and pans. Also, no kitchen towels that I could find. (I let the dishes dry in the drainer after washing). We were staying at the cabins with another couple, so we were able to make-do by combining our kitchens. It might have been a problem for a couple or family travelling alone, who couldn't share with another cabin. Also, the cabin is somewhat hidden and very difficult to find--I finally called the owner and he talked me to the driveway! It would be helpful to publish directions on the receipt.
