The location can't be better. Very close to Moscone Convention Center The internet is pretty slow even using a cable. No Wifi from 5th floor and above.

1. Clean 2. Convenience Transportation: it is in the center of the city. We can go anywhere through different transportation in a very short time (with inexpensive price). 3. Inexpensive residence. separate bathroom and restroom. no internet in the room.

Eleana at the front desk made our stay as comfortable as ever. She changed our room as we had requested separate beds during our reservation which wasn't given. The bathroom toilet wasn't working and she was amply sorry for that too and made us comfortable with the shared bath too. she helped us with our baggage when the shuttle came and in totally was the high point of the hotel. However on the day of departure the lady manager at the desk was unnecessarily rude n continued to show attitude at having to store our bags. All hotels keep bags stored sometimes for days when you are touring elsewhere without any charge and the manager wasn't ready to accommodate a few more hours till late evening when our airport shuttle was scheduled. That was a bit of a let down. Also the hotel has a few senior residents who crowd the lounge and give you a feeling of insecurity.

The room was clean and very neat looking with the fake wood floor--and somehow quaint (we loved the ceiling fan and brick wall in the room) and had a great location. The front desk person was very nice and helpful. Our room was very dim (like candlelight). It would have been a little better if the lamp on the wall had a light that wasn't missing, but it was an off-size light bulb that the front desk didn't have. And I'm not sure it would have made the room light enough anyway, to tell you the truth. So the room was too dim to read a book. But it was romantic :-)

What a great location, shopping, union sg we forgot the cell phone, they did look for it,found and returned it. I asked three times for wash towels, said they would send some up, you have to use hands and their machine soap canister that they supply ,tv has 6 channels.

The hotel is right in the heart of Union Square, and is easily accessible to all the shopping and restaurants within a 1 mile radius. It is also very close to the cable car stop. The pictures of the hotel are misleading. It's my understanding that the hotel is going through renovations, but my room wasn't exactly what I was expecting after I upgraded to a queen/in room bathroom. I feel that after they finish renovating, this should be a great place to stay. But overall I was not very happy with the condition of my room.

The price is the only reason we picked this Hotel. But I have to admit that it wasn't that bad of a stay. We went to a giants game and stayed one night. Not sure we will stay there again....only for parking purposes. No close parking. Staff was really not very helpful in giving ideas where to park. Most poeple don't realize that Powell Street is very conjested with traffic and people, and unloading your bags in the very small unloading zone is not easy.

In the middle of the city. A block away from market st. A block away from union square. If you liike sleeping in the hustle and bustle of a always awake night life youll like it here. Room is super small. Hallways are super small. Every thing is just tight. Not for a family or kids! I was there for a two day conference. Looking for a fun trip stay dont come here. On a budget and need to in the city, well there you go.

The location couldn't have been better. One of the front desk girls who worked the morning shift was rude and didn't care about the customer at all. She wouldn't even look up from the desk half the time.

The main thing I like about the hotel was its location. It was close to cafes, restaurants, muni transportation lines and shopping areas. My room was quite clean. Despite several comments I read about the noise I was quite lucky because I did not have such problem. My room was #502. The hot shower functioned perfectly. On certain days and/or times I'd be lucky to meet staffs that were friendly and very helpful.. Despite wi-fi being one of its amenities, it didn't work at all in my room. After several excuses, the hotel staff said I could use the cable connection for internet; but that also didn't work. I had to go to the lounge on the second floor for internet connection. There was one time I had to climb up the stairs because the elevator broke down. There were at least 2 staff that were friendly and very helpful. But it seemed being friendly and helpful were not standard features of this hotel. Most of the times, when I reported problems, the attitudes of staff, as if they might have as well said "Take it or leave it!"

It was close to everything, the Bart, shopping trams, sushi and just around the corner (crawling distance) from Johnny Foley's Irish Bar! I travelled alone this trip and I felt safe there. The staff were quick to recognize me and I don't recal having to use the front door key. My room had a bathroom en suite and only cost $85 a night which is such good value for my money. The room and bathroom were super clean and my bath towels were replaced every day. I will stay there again ;)

My girlfriend and I absolutely loved the hotel because of its location and stylish rooms. It was very comfortable and the cleanliness of rooms was always a huge plus for both of us. Unfortunately we along with many guests in the hotel did not like certain staff members. One in particular named Helenha or alinha (a russian girl) was very rude and not helpful at all. She gave wrong directions and never seemed to really care about our stay and well being. She was abrupt and made the lobby a very unwelcoming place. She really brings the hotels stature down and it was truly disappointing that she never was helpful. Often telling wrong information and should not be the face for the brand / hotel. Gabriella was lovely and she should is a great line of contact with the hotel. She was so caring and we thank her for being so kind.
