Herbert Hotel

ケーブルカー乗り場やBartなど公共交通機関に至近でサンフランシスコ観光のバツグンのロケーション。この低価格はシンジラレナ～イ。

コインランドリーはあるが、洗剤は隣のスーパーで買うように言われた。大きな洗剤しか売っていなかった。少量の洗剤パックを品揃えしてほしい。

最初に入った部屋が、天井裏がうるさかったのですが(空調か何かの機械音)、フロントに言ったらすぐに部屋を換えてくれました。

変な虫が出ました

powell駅や、ユニオンスクエアから近く、観光に便利。インターネットケーブルが各部屋に付いていて私にはありがたかった。

Powell　street沿いの部屋で騒がしかった。うなぎの寝床のような、細長いホテルなので、泊まるときは出来るだけ静かな部屋を希望すると良いと思います。あと、シャワーの出が悪かった。フロントの人（一人のみしかいない）が席を外すことが多かった（外線電話を部屋へ転送してもらいたかったのに、なかなかフロントが電話に出なかった。）。

サイトにある部屋の写真程の綺麗さや高級感（美しさ？）はない。ただ、日本で言うビジネスホテル程度から若干劣る程度の清潔さだった。部屋は、日本のビジネスホテルのシングルルームの倍ほどの広さだった。ゴミ収集車の音などを気にされるコメントを見かけたが、夜中から朝方にかけて起きていても、それ程気になるものではなかった。寝ていたら、気づかないであろう程度の音の大きさだった。水回りは問題のないレベル。支払いは前払い。チェックアウト時は鍵を渡すのみ。夜遅くはホテルの入り口が閉まるので、入り口の鍵と部屋の鍵を渡される。鍵は滞在中、所持したままでよい。素泊まりで交通の便が良く、ほどほどの綺麗さで、料金の安めのホテルを探しているのなら、問題は無いホテルだと思う。ビジネス利用だったが、次回サンフランシスコに行く際も、また利用したいと思う。

・室内のジュータンの掃除機がけはあまりあれていないように感じた。裸足で室内を歩きベッドにあがると、土がシーツの上に落ちる。）・リンスをしっかり補充して欲しい。（７泊したが、小さい試供品サイズの袋が一つ置かれたのみで、髪がぎすぎすに。。）どちらも、アメリカ本土に行ったのが初めてなので、もしかしたら文化の違いなのかもしれませんが、気になった点です。それ以外は問題なく、また利用したいと思いました。

I stayed there the second time and still like the hotel. Considering the great location, the value for the money is unbeatable. My room was clean with a lot of space (I got upgraded to a junior suite). I also like the modern stile. This time my room was on the far side of Powell St and not so loud than the first time when it was right at Powell St. I would come back again.

Central location, close to cable car and other transport, good rates, staff very helpful

No aircon or ceiling fans rooms very hot

Weird lobby but great location, right in the center of the shopping area and walking distance from the metro and cablecars. Very clean, comfortable and silent. (The laundry room facilities within the hotel are also a big + )

Breakfast not included. The staff was not very welcoming. They always looked like we were disturbing them, even when we just said hello while passing by. Just too bad, as it is a good hotel !

Extremely comfortable beds which was very welcome after a full day's hiking around San Francisco. Very handy to the BART station from the airport and cable car. We liked the coffee facilities in the room.

A few dodgy characters hovering around the hotel when we arrived but they soon disappeared. A little bit hot in the rooms which could be horrendous during a heat wave and it was a little noisy sleeping with the windows open due to the street noise.

Possible infestation of bed bugs in Room 512

The location was excellent. We were in the middle of everything. No need for driving.

Very handy to bus,tram,tube and all city shopping.Good value for money.

Our room was street noisy.Double glazing would be nice.
