our room was cozy and we loved the hot tub and the staff was very friendly.
the only thing that was inconvenient was the large hill you have to walk up to get to the motel several times a day. but it's a good workout so can't complain too much! :)
Cleanliness, friendliness, great location
Nothing really stands out to complain about.
Location was great..nice quitell place..cozy fireplace..we loved it
The curtains could be replaced
Great stay place was clean and staff done everything very wrll
We had to leave
The room was very clean and a convenient location.
The staff needs to dress more professional, the room rate needs to be better for what you get. We asked for ice to be brought to the room after the manager offered and never got any. We also asked to switch to a better room when one became available and was told we would have to pay another $100. I was half expecting a discount on that since we were already there and was wanting to stay another night. We ended up leaving.
Room was nice everything clean
Wifi didn't reach our room and password was incorrect but stay was very nice! Price was a little steep but it was Valentines Day weekend so...
The location was good
The staff needs to be informed about the town events and places to visit. Need information ;booklets about what is offered in the town for pleasure.
No wifi, no phone, could not get a crib.
The convenient location, the friendly staff, and the efficiency of the room.
The location was excellent and the gas fireplace was nice too.
Our "hot tub" didn't go above 83 degrees. It was freezing. I could feel most of the springs in the bed. We went on a Monday during off season and everything was closed. Monday - Thursday expect Huddle House. I feel the trip was wasted because we could have done all that we did, at home. To top it off I was charged $137 for the 1 night. We were 1 of 2 rooms used. I wish I would have known everything was closed and I definitely don't think I should have paid full price.
Best location in town and is fitting with the atmosphere of the town. We stayed in the hot tub room and were able to have a much needed, relaxing stay.
We had to get help from the office because the wi-fi did not automatically come up, but they were very helpful and resolved the issue right away. Would definitely stay here again.
enjoying pretty much my stay in itit was very nice
Rooms were spacious, plain but clean. Staff very friendly. Location good.
"Mountain view" was outrageous false advertising. The "mountain" in question was a small hill, viewed from the very public (exposed to passersby) front window of the room, across the parking lot prominently in the foreground.
Arrived early (1pm) after driving 20 hrs - staff would allow no flexibility for check in. Advised early check-in if paid extra 50% fee. Unfriendly in general. Room not clean - peanuts and candy on floor.
Although it rained everyday we were there the Heidi was a nice place to stay for the price. The room and beds were clean and smelled clean. The check in was quick and easy. Its location makes it an easy walk to most of the shops and there is a country store right across the street that sells everything you would need. When we come back again we will definately be staying at the Heidi!!!
I couldnt stay longer!
Excellent location, really enjoyed our stay... We will be back here for Octoberfest
Room was upstairs, without an elevator, but only a problem if you bring a lot of luggage.
Wi-fi was weak and spotty. Curtains on windows were so thin you could see through them. Employees did not know much about the coummunity or what was going on in the community during stay nor was there much literature in lobby that would direct visitors.
The staff wad nice and frindly, room was cute and comfortable. love being able to walk everywhere in town.staying in the windmill was fun could see a long distance from window.
Room was not cleaned the first day we were there. could us a small hot plate for cooking if guest wanted to cook small things like eggs or toaster for toast or bagles.
Room was fairly clean, mattress was very comfortable. Had a small refrigerator and Microwave.
Spent two nights, no one made the bed on Christmas Day. I know it was a holiday, but if was expecting when we got back to the room the would be clean & Tidy.
Quiet, clean and convienent property. This was our forth visit to this hotel.
Satisfied as always!
We enjoyed the quiet room and comfortable accommodations.
The room needed to be vaccumed and we had to step over vomit on the walkway to the stairs all 3 days of our stay. We reported it twice, but no one cleaned it up, even though we knew the housekeeper had to step over it to service our room while we were out. The Manager acted shocked that it was not cleaned up when we checked out.
too many ashtrays
We were walking distance from most shops and the shop owners were very helpful. We would stay there again!!!!!
There was only two electric outlets in the room and we needed one by the head of the bed.
I liked that it was just minutes to everything in town. Very clean, roomy, and a good view. The price that I paid was very reasonable.
I was on a upper floor so,naturally I had to climb stairs. I could not get the heat adjusted correctly during the night, so that was probably some my fault. The motel is on a hill, so it was a good climb going back up.
Helen is a beautiful town and Heidi is right in the middle of it. I loved that I could walk from the hotel to the town, shop and just a short walk back to the room. The hotel has a very "at home" feeling about it. Not just the room, but the whole "feeling" you get while there. The staff is very friendly and we plan on staying there again this summer.
