Great design and look, free happy hour drinks, friendly staff in a location close to sights and restaurants
Parking is expensive
Interesting area with a variety of restaurants nearby. Happy hour of wine very enjoyable. We had a quiet room on back of hotel (203) and slept well. Walkable (if you like walking!) into the centre, but not too far from a number of metro stations. Would recommend.
Nothing, we enjoyed our 4 nights there.
Needs a revamp. Wear and tear too obvious. Flimsy furniture.
No appetizers with "Happy Hour"!
Very friendly and helpful staff!
There was no shower cap or lotion in the room...but, when requested, they provided. And, the sink "rim" needed some additional cleaning.
The staff were extra ordinary. Very quiet location a perfect location to explore the city.
The room lacked a comfortable chair to sit in. It was fully furnished by ikea, looked a little like a dorm room.
Location was very cool, one block from a many restaurants, cafe's, etc.
Mattress was very firm, not comfortable for us.
The staff was very accomodating, friendly and helpful as well as housekeeping. Loved the 5-6pm complimentary hour
Hotel is a bit rundown and a bit overpriced due to its category
The staff were very friendly and helpful - loved the daily drink hour in the bar!
Lovely big room with lovely big queen sized beds, so very comfortable for 4 people. Big bathroom too with surfaces to put your toilet bags on. Interesting retro furniture and bright colours. Really welcoming and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Nice location.
Decor a bit tired. Some very eccentric features in the room, such as hanging rail above the safe so you couldn't hang anything longer than a cut-off shirt, also rail so high that I couldn't reach it (I'm 5'7'' so not short) and only electric sockets in a cluster of 4 so close together that you could only use one when using an adapter and also situated below the TV trolley so really tricky to access.

Reception Staff Availability Over-priced
I love this hotel! Receptionist David is very very polite and handsome!!His voice is charming!!! And the hotel is very tidy and clean, its location is easy to find, and everyone works there is warm and patience!
Location and price / value.
Bathroom fixtures, lighting (not enough) and spotty TV channels.
The price was good, parking pricing at $42 per night and breakfast isn't included. The wine social hour is enticing but is only offered from 5-6pm which is difficult to attend with a busy day in DC. The room is retro and comfortable. Wish the hotel had a rooftop pool
Parking cost $42 per night, breakfast isn't included, no pool, and wifi isn't included
Location is great. Rooms very comfy, great size. Decor a little dated but space is great. Restaurant bar space is nice, but they close it by day, which is normally fine, but if you want to relax and do work not so useful. I have never drawn a line like this, however, I found the female staff very helpful, always friendly and will go the extra mile to hep out. Rather peculiar, the male staff at the front desk appeared cold and disinterested in helping.
The fact that having paid good dollars, for quite a long stay, that I had to pay to print a few documents in the "business area" and to not only pay to print, but to pay to firstly access the computer, seems quite stingy in light of the money spent at the hotel. As noted, female staff at front desk very friendly, for some reason the males at the front desk were a little cold.
Walkable to the city in 20 minutes. Very close to a free city bike station.
Room was a bit "fussy". Couldn't find the light switches for ages
Free wine from 5-6pm was something most places don't offer...and it went down a treat for us! The rooms looked cool, awesome decor. We liked the area too - loads of places to eat and drink.
Everything was excellent. USB ports near bed for charging your phone, nice wi-fi, pretty nice and helpful staff, beautifully designed room. Hotel for young and energetic!) Iron, hear-drier, glasses in room.
Everything is OK.
Little far from the subway system.
The staff was wonderful. We really liked Chance he went above and beyond.
Breakfast could have more to choose from, like an omelet station. The bathroom was a bit small.
My room was large, bed very comfortable, bathroom very small however but not big deal as it was just me. Location could be drawback for some as it is about 15-20 minutes from a metro stop, but lots of great restaurants close by. Would definitely stay here again.
Very funky hotel, good location.
Happy hour too short, small room was overlooking the dumpsters, left a pair of jeans behind and when I called they wanted a credit card to ship FedEx, I decided to leave them behind since there was no option to use priority mail at a fraction of the cost. Disappointed about having to pay the price for shipping the jeans but they weren't worth the expense.
Friendly staff, clean rooms.
Parking is very expensive at $42 plus tax.
My girlfriend broke out in hives within 20 minutes of getting to our room. The room was on the dog floor. Also, my friend had to switch rooms because it had a moldy smell. In all, the hotel is a cute boutique but you are better off parking on the street or at the holiday inn down the block.
